09/05/2025: Very nice wine bar - centrally located in Neive :)

05/05/2025: Let me start by saying that we only went for the wine, so I can't comment on the food. As for the wine, however, it was a superb experience: all excellent, but noteworthy were the rosé, the Barbarescos, but also the vermouth and the Barolo Chinato, which elsewhere I found bordering on drinkable while here I had to buy a bottle, such was the surprise. Diana, the girl who served us was simply "super": she entertained us with a perfect mix of professionalism and cheerfulness (impossible to say "no" to any proposal). Thanks also to Silvana, the owner, very courteous and helpful. I recommend it without reservations.

11/06/2025: Sunday I spent a day in the Maira valley with the intention of reaching the Visaisa lake from the sources of the Maira. Arriving at the Saretto village I found the road closed by an automatic barrier forced to pay 10 euros for parking, too much... I would have accepted 10 maximum 3 euros but I see it truly shameful to have to pay for the mountain that belongs to everyone. Then they told me shuttle at 5 euros per person. All absurd.

11/06/2025: If you're looking for peace and quiet, an incredibly flower-rich natural setting for hiking, and exceptional food, then please check in at Locanda Mistral. The people were incredibly kind and attentive, and we had a culinary journey that will stay with us for a long time. The wines were excellent. Please come to the Piedmont Valley and bring it back to life.

25/02/2025: Ho voluto cercare per il mio compleanno un ristorante in una zona ancora mai esplorata, la Val Maira nel cuneese, e davvero, con la famiglia, abbiamo trovato un ottimo posto. Dalla gentile accoglienza, ai piatti davvero buoni, di ottima qualità, ad una bella scelta di vini, senza parlare dei dolci fatti in casa siamo stati veramente bene. La ragazza che ci ha servito in sala è stata davvero gentile e disponibile, il clima rilassato ha contribuito ad un pranzo come poche volte mi è capitato di fare. Essendo anche albergo in una zona immersa nel verde, e con molti itinerari (anche archeologici) interessanti da visitare, ritorneremo sicuramente per passare qui qualche giorno.

13/05/2025: We had a romantic lunch in this restaurant with its beautiful shaded terrace, we loved our lunch, I was able to discover the Piedmontese specialties with unmixed happiness (I don't think I'll ever get over the veal tartare and the vitello tonnato). The service is very courteous and available to explain the details of Alta Langa (the local Prosecco), the meanders of Tajarin (delicious pasta) or to serve you more fabulous wines. The food is divine, we would never want to leave. Even if the prices are a little high, they are understandable given the quality of the food offered: we will return for another romantic lunch at the foot of the Barbaresco tower!

07/05/2025: My family and I stayed 4 days at this property surrounded by greenery, where you only hear the birds singing. Davide and his family were always available and are so kind and friendly that they make you feel at home. We also ate every evening at the farmhouse, everything was very good even the breakfasts! 05/05/2025: The first impression may be deceiving - but we were thrilled: New, nice and clean rooms, 7-course menu and top wine cheaper than from the wine growers. And the hosts' friendliness personified. Really a recommendation.

12/05/2025: January 2025. Working lunch (an excellent tagliata with fries): fast and careful service. Too bad for the toilets, some of which did not work. The tap that worked allowed you to wash your hands and also your pants! A small flaw that deprives you of the fifth star.
