13/04/2025: All-you-can-eat available, we tried it. Small portions and very simple, non-spectacular dishes. The dishes arrive quickly but the empty ones are not cleared away as quickly. Goodness of the Sushi as usual, with particular praise for the salmon tartare Compared to other sushi the choice on the menu is very limited, there are not many particular preparations

13/03/2025: Avrei voluto intitolare la recensione: "Quando uno strepitoso pasticcere, deve anche cucinare", ma temevo potesse confondere i lettori. Siamo in un piccolo paesino a poca distanza da Alba, più in alto rispetto a Grinzane Cavour, non ancora toccato dal over turismo che inizia ad interessare anche le Langhe. Cucina langarola, menù degustazione a 50€, ma se si sceglie alla carta un pasto di 3 portate costerà intorno ai 40€. Buono il vitello tonnato (anche se personalmente preferisco la carne completamente cotta e non rosata come un roast-beef), così come i tajarin al ragù, gli agnolotti al sugo d'arrosto e la faraona. Tutti i piatti curati, ben presentati e buoni. Ma nessuno che fa esclamare di stupore. Come degli esercizi ben svolti, ma senza quel quid di eccellenza che te li fa ricordare a lungo. Tutto questo fino ai dolci, dei capolavori: bunet strepitoso, così le pere cotte nel vino e accompagnate da un semifreddo allo zabaglione. Ma la vera chicca è stata la tradizionale torta langarola di nocciole, farcita a metà con della marmellata, come fosse una sacher, e ricoperta da un velo di cioccolato. Questa si che sarà ricordata per sempre. Peccato che l'osteria non possa avere al suo servizio uno chef di eguale estro e bravura. Da venirci se si è nei paraggi.

06/01/2025: Passing through Neive in a camper, with my wife Marisa who already knew Massimo Rivetti's company, we stopped for a tasting. Mrs. Silvana and her son Andrea described their wines and the work in their company to us with professionalism and passion. A truly satisfying experience of aromas and flavors, in a truly pleasant environment that we would like to repeat as soon as possible.

01/01/2025: Allora....siamo stati in questo locale per una degustazione di vini. Sulla qualità dei vini c'è poco da discutere, molto buoni e si sente l'autenticità del territorio e dei prodotti. Ma.....ci duole informarvi che i vini non sono stati presentati in un modo non professionale rispetto ad altre cantine. Suggeriamo di offrire un servizio che presti maggiore cura alla spiegazione del prodotto.

12/01/2025: Stopped by today for a snack after the walk to Capanna Ussolo, Marta cooked two delicious crêpes. Excellent welcome, cleanliness and courtesy. We wouldn't have wanted anything more.

02/01/2025: The Rifugio La Carlina, managed by Marta since this year, turned out to be a very good choice to celebrate New Year's Eve with our group of friends. The dormitories, renovated this summer, are large, warm and welcoming. We spent 2 days playing board games, in a welcoming atmosphere, accompanied by excellent food and the kindness of Marta, always attentive to everyone's needs (vegetarians and various allergies). The clear skies and pink dawns were the setting for a truly special experience. Being a stopping point on the Occitan Routes, the refuge is perfect for both hikers and those simply looking for a quiet place to unwind. highly recommended!

30/03/2025: Classic restaurant with a 70s feeling. I ended up there by chance while passing through. Delicious lunch menu including wine, water and café for €25. Friendly service, a bit hectic, but the restaurant was full.

18/11/2024: Un prezioso presidio della cucina genuina della montagna cuneese. Causa mia sono arrivato alcuni minuti oltre l'orario di chiusura, di un mercoledì, ma sono stato accolto con cortesia e disponibilità anche se i fornelli erano già spenti da un po'. Tutto molto curato, posate distinte per ogni piatto, vino rosso della casa davvero ottimo. Formaggi e insaccati con sapori di altri tempi, insalata dell'orto, crostata fatta in casa commovente. Prezzo molto contenuto. Bravi, spero possiate resistere. Francesco.
