09/08/2025: I read a lot of negative reviews on Google, but I can only say that I've been going to Pechino since at least 2001, and I hear stories from my parents when they went there way back in '86/'87 that they've remained unchanged. The food is always good, the prices are always fair, and the waiters are always helpful. It's a Chinese landmark in the Cuneo area. The interior decor is certainly dated (1985), but it gives you a Chinese and Oriental feel that few places can match. -Greetings from one of your regulars

Considering the almost family-like welcome, the quality of the food, the excellent service, and the location immersed in nature, surrounded by horses and tranquility, the price for dinner is absolutely reasonable, almost affordable. 02/09/2025: I went to dinner for a birthday. It was the first time. I took the set menu that included 5 appetizers, a first or second course, and dessert. Very good home cooking, several locations where you can dine (completely inside the restaurant, outside the restaurant but covered). I will definitely return. I can't tell you about the price because I was invited.

12/08/2025: Found near the farmhouse where we're staying. The welcome, service, and quality are 5-star, and maybe even better. Attentive to detail and customers. Nothing out of place. We ate in the internal courtyard and it was very comfortable, with a lovely outdoor setting. The appetizers we tried were very good (zucchini flowers and raw ham), and the tagliatelle with butter and sage and the Fassona beef burger were delicious. The raw ingredients were top-quality, the kitchen was expert in their handling, and the wine list was well-balanced. Very good value for money. Recommended!!

06/06/2025: Ho avuto recentemente il piacere di assaporare un piatto che, nella sua semplicità, rasenta la perfezione: le tagliatelle al sugo di ortiche con burrata. Fin dalla presentazione, il piatto si è rivelato un piccolo gioiello. Il verde intenso e rustico del sugo di ortiche avvolgeva morbidamente le tagliatelle, ruvide al punto giusto da trattenere ogni goccia di condimento. A completare l'opera, una burrata freschissima, adagiata al centro come una perla bianca e cremosa, pronta a fondersi con il calore della pasta. Al primo assaggio, l'esplosione di sapori è stata sorprendente. L'ortica, spesso sottovalutata, ha rivelato un gusto erbaceo, delicato ma persistente. Un sapore autentico, che parla di terra e di tradizioni antiche. La vera magia, però, è scaturita dall'incontro con la burrata. La sua dolcezza lattiginosa e la sua consistenza incredibilmente cremosa hanno smorzato la nota quasi selvatica dell'ortica, creando un equilibrio sublime. Ad ogni forchettata, la stracciatella filante della burrata si mescolava al sugo, dando vita a un condimento avvolgente che ha trasformato un piatto potenzialmente semplice in un'esperienza gourmet. Le tagliatelle, rigorosamente fatte in casa, erano il veicolo perfetto per questa sinfonia di sapori. La loro porosità e la cottura al dente hanno esaltato la consistenza del piatto, rendendo ogni boccone un piacere tattile oltre che gustativo.

During the week, the menu is limited to one appetizer, one first course, one second course with side dish, an addition that can be a small omelette, a bottle of wine (white or red), bottled water, dessert, and coffee. So, the fixed menu. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, it doubles in size, and everything is delicious. The tablecloth and napkins are made of white cotton. The cost during the week is the same as a sandwich and a beer at the bar; it increases on weekends and holidays... but always moderate. The only drawback? In the summer, mulled wine... no ice or ice buckets... but you can survive. Make a reservation because it's always full.

26/08/2025: On Saturday evening, after a day spent trekking in the mountains, we decided to have dinner at this trattoria after evaluating several other restaurants in the area. We read that the restaurant offers several fixed-price menus weekly. The one we were interested in for Saturday dinner consisted of 5 appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 second courses, dessert, and coffee (I specify that it is not à la carte, so you don't choose; you eat whatever the chef offers that evening). The fixed price per person is €25, and given the freshly prepared food, without preheating, all guests begin dinner at 8:30 PM. Having clarified these simple, but fundamental, restaurant practices, we moved on to making a reservation by phone (this is recommended, as is reading the menu and serving times for lunch (12:30 PM) and dinner (8:30 PM) to avoid misunderstandings or incorrect expectations). A very characteristic restaurant with wooden interiors and furnishings, as soon as you enter you grasp the values ​​of Piedmontese tradition and perceive the flavors of their excellent cuisine under your palate. Home cooking that is expertly and simply enjoyed, dish after dish, allowing us to savor all the dishes offered and even have a few second helpings kindly offered by the owner (honestly, I found him kind and helpful; he always responded politely). The dinner continued in a calm and serene atmosphere where one could breathe in the ancient tradition of Piedmontese trattorias that the place still preserves excellently. Home cooking from the appetizers to the first courses, the second courses (all with flavor combinations that married perfectly with each other, enriching and tantalizing the palate), homemade bread and finally dessert and a good coffee to close the meal full and satisfied. Free parking in the forecourt covers about fifteen cars. Outdoor terrace for dogs that are not allowed inside. I understand from the owner's responses to some negative reviews that often people, unlike us, go full of expectations and without considering the type of place they choose, which perhaps does not fit their target and their needs. Expectations. I'd also like to add that the bathroom is a bit tacky, which some people say is not very clean. It's true that it should be kept clean, but those who use it should also be careful. My deepest sympathy goes to the owner, and my compliments again for the excellent management and excellent food. We'll definitely be back to eat there. We like tradition, and their food, too. My only regret is that smokers don't move a few steps further away (since they just can't resist a smoke) and that they let an unpleasant smell of smoke into the restaurant. We were seated near the counter in the small room near the door.

17/08/2025: We had lunch at this inn, and even though we'd called in the morning to make the reservation, they took care of it without any problem. The place is reminiscent of Sunday lunch at grandma's house: cozy, welcoming, and delicious. The menu, consisting of five appetizers, one first course, one second course, and one dessert, is very generous, all excellent quality and a fabulous value. The owners are two delightful, friendly, and approachable people, with whom it was a pleasure to chat between courses. It's one of the few places in the area that preserves its traditions, kindness, and love for their work. We'll be happy to visit you again!

14/02/2025: La gentilezza e la cordialità sono all’ordine del giorno. Le bugie sono ottime, come pizza, focaccia e pane. Creano anche torte molto belle su ordinazione. Oggi, per San Valentino, il titolare Massimo regalava ad ogni cliente un panino rosso. Un gesto che fa sicuramente molto piacere!

08/09/2025: A magnificent place, although a little difficult to find (we didn't see a sign indicating the restaurant!). We were very well received (we had reservations), despite a rather large number of guests and a significant delay! The dishes were excellent (although the appetizer was a bit short on quantity!) The bill wasn't that high for a full meal + aperitif + coffee! A wonderful experience.

05/08/2025: We caught the ferry over and walked here, it's up a lot of steps but through the beautiful old part of town with all the picturesque laneways. Clean comfortable good breakfast. Great restaurant recommendation.

12/07/2025: We stayed with Anna (the owner), who was courteous and efficient. The rooms are beautiful, bright, and clean. The location is excellent, quiet, and just steps from the center of the nightlife.

09/07/2025: A truly quaint farmhouse surrounded by greenery, far from the urban environment. The hosts were extremely warm, friendly, and helpful, both to us and to our dog. The room was comfortable and clean, with everything we needed. Dinner on site is highly recommended; the set menu is generous and full of traditional dishes made with fresh local ingredients. We will definitely recommend it and repeat the experience if we return to the area.

16/06/2025: Farmhouse with the essence of the farm, family-run, surrounded by greenery and silence. We spent this weekend here, Davide and his family welcomed us in an excellent way, we stayed in the studio, very spacious and very clean. We had a simple dinner, with a fixed menu or à la carte, with the cuisine that tastes like home, but with top ingredients. Breakfast with various homemade cakes, scrambled eggs and moka coffee, what can I say, everything was delicious, I recommend it! Dogs are also welcome
