02/11/2025: I had the opportunity to dine while in the area for work. Welcoming staff and a comfortable, refined atmosphere. The dishes selected deserve a 5-star rating! My only complaint is that I would have preferred to dine in a cooler setting.

28/09/2025: We stopped for lunch even though it was already past 2:30 PM, having just returned from a long walk in the nearby woods. The ground-floor dining room is small but tastefully decorated with attention to detail. While we waited for our dishes, we were brought a basket of bread (baked in-house with stone-ground flour) and focaccia, both delicious, served with salted butter. The service was perfect, with great attention to detail, and the dishes we sampled were truly delicious (mixed Piedmontese appetizers, meat-filled plin, tagliolini with sausage ragù, and sliced ​​steak). The sliced ​​steak was accompanied by a beautiful French knife. Before leaving, we also had the opportunity to browse the small but well-stocked cellar. Adjacent to the dining room is a delightful covered terrace with a few tables, and it would have been even nicer to have lunch outside, given the beautiful day. The quality/price ratio is definitely fair.

08/10/2025: Family lunch. The appetizers were generous and truly excellent. The first course was excellent. The meat-based second course wasn't exceptional. The dessert was also good. Fontanafredda wines. €40.

07/07/2025: Serata tra amici, una ventina, il ristorante ha qualche tavolo occupato oltre al nostro. La proprietaria (credo) ci consiglia di prendere Max 3 risotti perché e’ più semplice per loro organizzarsi. Scegliamo i 3 risotti e …. Non uno se ne salvava! Veramente pessimi tutti e 3. Era una base di riso bianco troppo cotto con sopra ma totalmente slegato il lieve condimento. Il tutto insapore ed insipido! In uno c’era anche un capello! Onestamente le recensioni sono tutte ottime e quindi siamo stati molto delusi ed abbiamo pensato o a recensioni fasulle fatte da amici o che in cucina non ci fosse il cuoco e qualcuno avesse improvvisato (male!) per evitare di disdire le prenotazioni! Purtroppo devo valutare l’esperienza terribile!

03/07/2025: I was for dinner a few weeks ago, the restaurant is located above Lake Mergozzo, a truly beautiful place. There were two of us, a black risotto and a lake fish, all good... good value for money... it is better to book and go a little early because there is little parking... the staff is kind and friendly.

15/10/2025: Very good gelato, definitely out of the ordinary. It's all vegan, and the flavors of all the fruits (dried and undried) are very noticeable. I recommend it if you want a different kind of gelato, healthier and more authentic.

07/10/2025: With Mattia's cooking and Denise's table service, it's always a pleasant stop at the agriturismo. Of the seven appetizers, three first courses, and four second courses, all very good, I want to highlight: tomino with chestnut honey, a masterpiece of flavors!! Buckwheat Maltagliati with leek sauce, delicate and flavorful, typical of the traditional Bregaglia cuisine! Roast beef, the quality of the meat is evident!! What can I say about the truly exquisite local cheeses and the semifreddo with grappa for dessert? In short, there's no other place like this agriturismo's cuisine!

14/06/2025: After about 20 years since my last visit to the restaurant, now Agriturismo Mongioie, I can say that I have had another very pleasant experience. A place kept with care, preserving the appearance and details of the past and revisited today by the new young management. Traditional and appetizing cuisine, just the right quantities, flavors that we will remember. Excellent snails, lavender strudel much appreciated. A hearty meal at competitive prices. Excellent dining room service. If possible we will return. A group of friends Nurses and Oss of the Emergency Room of Sanremo.

18/09/2025: Mr. Shawarma in Turin was an incredible discovery: super-fresh ingredients prepared to order, authentic flavors, and quality evident in every dish. The hummus is simply perfect, the best I've ever tasted. The falafel are artisanal and unsweetened. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is fast. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try authentic shawarma.

16/09/2025: One of my favorite places for this type of cuisine, excellent shawarma with fresh, quality ingredients. Limited seating. Fast service. Prices are higher than usual, but justified by the offerings.

06/10/2025: Lunch in an alleyway in Orta, away from tourists. Very good wines; good food. We paid €60 for two very good glasses of wine, an excellent mixed platter, and bruschettas. Quiet and charming.

11/10/2025: A truly delightful and unusual, even courageous, idea. A wide variety of menus, high prices, but that's not necessarily the manager's fault (operating costs have become insane throughout Italy), a super central location, and a creatively decorated restaurant with a distinctive character. I ordered a carbonara but didn't find the pleasure of the famous dish. For my personal taste, the dish was too salty, and the carbocrema was very unbalanced and sticky. I also tried the braised potato, a nice idea, but again, too salty. But I emphasize: I can't call the dish salty; in all honesty, it's overkill for my personal tastes. Can I recommend this place? No. Read my review and try to decide whether you like balanced dishes or prefer robust flavors.
