This exceptional restaurant, nestled in a peaceful setting, boasts a terrace overlooking the cloister of a former abbey. The service is outstanding and the value for money is excellent.

A charming place on the first floor, in the loggia next to the cathedral. Excellent menu, both fixed and à la carte, at fair prices and very good dishes. Eight of us tried the house appetizer, plin, roast beef, veal with tuna sauce, and rabbit. All the dishes were inviting, flavorful, and delicious! The entire service was accompanied by an appetizer or welcome drink and a sampling of sweet treats after coffee. For our sweet guests, we tried the coffee millefeuille. Everything was delicious!

A stunning and very welcoming place. The owners were incredibly kind and polite; we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the dishes plentiful, and very beautiful. They offered both an entrée (a sampling of three appetizers) and a post-dinner selection (a sampling of three desserts). The portions were generous, and despite the short menu, it was well thought out, with very original and imaginative choices. The terrace setting was also stunning, and the atmosphere they created in the restaurant was equally as impressive. We spent €66 for two (one main course each, a shared dessert, and a glass of wine each). Considering the quality of the food and service, I'd say we spent too little. It's not so easy to find such kind and generous people anymore; we were thrilled.

A truly evocative location, located in the cathedral cloister with a stunning view of the art. The interior and exterior spaces are gracefully and elegantly furnished. Table service relies on the collaboration of the owners, who act as sommelier and head waiter. The menu features traditional dishes, but some are recreated with a touch of imagination.

Piedmont is a region where eating well is easy, but this restaurant is truly sublime. The cuisine, largely classic Piedmontese, is top-notch in terms of authenticity, quality ingredients, and excellent presentation. The wine list is commendable, and, last but not least, the staff is exceptional in their professionalism, kindness, and helpfulness, making you feel at home in this historic location, in the heart of a beautiful town. Prices perfectly match the quality of the food and service.

The high-quality bread already showed the restaurant's attention to detail, but the complimentary delicate appetizers were a pleasant surprise! The salted cod appetizer with its sauce was delicious. The main course, the assorted poached beef, was served with a pot of broth, and the attentive waitress proactively asked if we needed small bowls and spoons to enjoy the broth. A small dessert platter was even provided after the meal. Overall, the dining experience and the friendly service deserve full marks. Highly recommended! Perfect dining experience, the food was perfect and the service was amazing!

10/05/2026: We had lunch at this excellent restaurant on recommendation, and I'd say it was a great choice. A tastefully furnished agriturismo without distorting its identity or making it too "prim and proper." The menu offers excellent value for money, and the service is fast and accurate, despite the restaurant being full. The staff are always ready to serve customers with a smile—that's no longer a given. The cuisine is typical of the Monferrato region, with a slightly updated twist, with a few seafood dishes (to please my wife, who doesn't eat meat). The Fassona beef tartare and pork cheek are excellent, and the spaghetti with black garlic are good but have room for improvement. The black garlic is very sweet, the ginger is barely noticeable, and the mussels were only three in number and overpowered in flavor by the garlic. Perhaps some ingredients need to be revisited or calibrated better for a better final result. The Gianduiotto mousse is delicious. There are few restaurants nowadays that offer a slightly revisited but at the same time classic cuisine of a typical modern farmhouse but with normal prices and not of a restaurant that aspires to be starred. Finding a balance and staying within the budget is not easy. Well done.
