02/05/2026: I honestly think the restaurant has all the makings of one of the most charming and professional establishments on Isola Superiore, as well as in the entire Borromean Islands area. However, while the staff is prompt, extremely professional, and quick in serving guests, I believe that when the place is crowded, it feels the inevitable emotional pressure caused by the accumulation of requests for food and drink. Unfortunately, during my stay with my partner on May 2, 2026, I didn't have the opportunity to dine at "La Rondine" due to a misunderstanding that could easily be resolved. Nevertheless, I can say that, as a former professional (with many years of experience) in the restaurant service industry, I really empathized with the waiters, especially the affable and lively young man with sunglasses and a long beard. Although I offered to come back in about 40 minutes to try and find a table, he abruptly interrupted our conversation and (rightly) went back to serving customers. Although I intended to return, as I promised, I faced my partner's disapproval over the incident and immediately agreed to return to Stresa. That said, I hope this review can be a positive starting point for improving an already excellent table service. I recommend investing in mindfulness and emotional intelligence courses for staff, so they can experience customer service in a pleasant and rewarding way.

23/04/2026: Spectacular restaurant location overlooking the water on the beautiful island of Pescatori / Stresa and the food quality and variety excellent! Enjoyed the veal and grilled vegetables with vino blanca, iced in a pasta can! Check out their store that has family-owned FABULOUS olive oils, balsamic, spices and more. Sarah speaks awesome English and her knowledge and attitude matches. I actually made a video as I was so impressed ❤️🇮🇹

Excellent location for those who, like us, want to take the Centovalli train to Locarno. We had a wonderful time, thank you for everything!

09/05/2026: A pleasant place, with high ceilings and a splendid panoramic garden, especially in season. Friendly staff. The menu offers a limited number of dishes, very Piedmontese, and prices are a bit high. Good quality, although not always a perfect rating for everything we ate. But I'll try it again for a more definitive review.

01/05/2026: Unfortunately, it's a completely over-the-top, pretentious place. They're trying to pass themselves off as high-end dining with the cheapest possible ambiance. We wanted to order a glass of wine before our meal and were asked to leave, with the explanation that they weren't a bar. I've never experienced anything like it. Avoid this arrogant establishment.

12/04/2026: Everything was perfect... Excellent hospitality, helpful staff attentive to all needs...children were welcomed with great care. Typical Langhe menu carefully selected and beautifully presented. Wine list with a focus on local produce... A sure thing... congratulations.

The food is excellent and plentiful, with refills for every course, something you almost never get anymore! The sauna and whirlpool are also excellent, with attention to detail. 05/12/2025: I had lunch at this fantastic place during a stroll through downtown Turin. Delicious products made with top-quality ingredients. The focaccia and focaccia di Recco were truly delicious, not to mention the owner's friendliness and kindness. A lovely, high-quality place, highly recommended. I'll be back.

07/02/2026: Recommended by a local, we arrived without a reservation and had no problem getting a table. The menu isn't incredibly extensive, but it offers a good variety. The à la carte service is quick and the food is made to order. I actually ordered a vegetarian dish to order. Great courtesy and helpfulness. Prices aren't cheap, although they do reflect the good quality of the food. The decor is pleasant and I believe it was recently renovated. Very positive and worth repeating.

09/05/2026: Good food, but an impossible welcome We arrived at 7:10 pm but were greeted extremely rudely and unfriendly. We were told the kitchen was still closed – even though Google lists 7:00 pm as the opening time (the website only vaguely mentions "Pranzo/Cena"). The gentleman at reception, smartly dressed in black, was the epitome of arrogance: he continued speaking exclusively in English, even though my companions were Italian and addressed him in Italian. Fortunately, he didn't return for the rest of the evening. Such a welcome really ruins the whole evening. It's a shame, because the rest of the staff were friendly and the food was really good. Italiano Titolo: Ottimo cibo, ma accoglienza pessima Siamo arrivati ​​alle 19:10 e siamo stati accolti in modo molto bruto e scortese.
