01/04/2025: A lovely little restaurant in Syracuse! I ordered the linguine with scampi, and it was absolutely delicious. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

31/03/2025: Excellent food! I ordered a medium rare steak and it was made to perfection. Unfortunately the sauce was a little bit too sweet for my taste but I balanced it with a lot of salt. High quality food for a reasonable price. 👌🏻

Now we come to the beauty: excellent quality of the raw materials, dishes with a mix of aromas, flavors and textures that amaze you with every bite. Non-trivial dishes with combinations that touch various continents while maintaining the essence of the raw material. Raw tops. Never eaten such good fried food. Very varied wine list for all budgets. Price appropriate to the offer. Well done, keep it up!

01/04/2025: I came across this restaurant by chance on Thursday 27 March 2025 for lunch, together with my friend Pasquale, returning from Pesaro after going to pick up my new car at the BMW dealership. I would say that it was a really good choice, we ate and drank very well and paid the right amount, fast and courteous service, welcoming environment and pleasant culinary experience, we were at ease. The fried prawns and calamari that I had is truly one of the best I have ever eaten. The right place to celebrate my new BMW. Highly recommended, we will be back.

22/03/2025: Le aspettative erano alte ma sicuramente un posto che non consiglio ne tornerò mai. Il cibo ok. Cosa che mi porta a fare questa recensione e’ che la mia compagna all’interno del piatto del antipasto ( una tartara di tonno ) in bocca si ritrova un pezzo di plastica dura triangolare, sicuramente qualche pezzo di un contenitore. Lo facciamo notare subito, il Metre a stento ci porge le scuse tenendo a sottolineare che “ può capitare con piatti preparati al momento”. Con la seconda portata pure la battuta squallida mentre portava via “ non c’era plastica in questo piatto” con tono scherzoso/sarcastico. Poco professionale, scuse sterili e inopportuni!

12/01/2025: Experiencia única. . estábamos caminando por una calle delgada cuando mi esposa y yo vimos esta pequeña puerta. . . su padre amaba Caruso. . . . entramos. . uauuuu. . . se remontaba en el tiempo 1800 hermoso con carácter. . . la comida maravillosa. . . en ese momento en la tarde solo había una pareja con un niño pequeño comportado. . . el cocinero nos hizo hacer un viaje a través de la más maravillosa cocina italiana. Recomiendo 100% disfrutar!

13/04/2025: Sono stato a pranzo con mia moglie in questo ristorante di domenica. Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo esterno che consiglio se la temperatura è mite e siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti, sia per la location, molto sobria con personale educato e accogliente, che per il cibo. Una volta accomodati, ti servono immediatamente dell'acqua liscia o gasata in base alle preferenze e successivamente il menù il quale è riportato su di una lavagna mobile che viene lasciata di fianco al tavolo per la consultazione e per qualsiasi chiarimento /informazione sulle pietanze, si avvicina il proprietario. Prezzi nella norma considerando che si è nel centro storico di Salerno a due passi dal duomo. Tre antipasti, 2 primi e 1 acqua, 70 euro. Lo consiglio. Complimenti allo staff.

08/04/2025: This place was a real sleeper find for us. We walked up from downtown Vernazza for breakfast and didn't expect much because of the throwaway utensils and location on the corner near the parking lot. (It turns out, because Il Pirata recently also started carrying groceries, law compelled them to change how they served.) We were wrong to judge this book by its cover. The staff were some of the friendliest restaurant staff we encountered over our entire trip in Italy. Their ricotta-pistachio stuffed croissants and cannoli haunted the rest of our travels, because nothing will compare to the delicious ones they sell here. We came back the next day and lamented every breakfast that wasn't at Il Pirata thereafter. Go visit and eat a pistachio cannoli for me!

23/02/2025: Pesce freschissimo e qualità eccellente!! Crudo in particolare, dovrebbe essere illegale! Nonostante sia una pescheria sono davvero buoni anche i dolci: abbiamo preso due semifreddi, uno al limoncello e uno al pistacchio. Da tornarci sicuramente.
