16/05/2026: Having rightfully entered my personal list of my all-time favorite restaurants, I visited this restaurant in Ischia today and am struggling to find the right words to succinctly describe the enchanting lunch we had. It all began with the service, which to call excellent is an understatement (thanks to the waiter Francesco, who was incredibly kind to us and my 18-month-old son), followed by the beautiful setting, with a stunning view of the sea and carefully curated with antiques down to the smallest detail, and finally, the dishes, which, besides being delicious and exquisite, were cooked according to tradition and with excellent ingredients, unlike many tourist-friendly places that serve dishes more suited to local tastes than true tradition. We ate a delicious house antipasto (the fried parmigiana was particularly good), a sensational Ischia-style rabbit, and a filo pastry basket with lemon cream and berries. All of this was accompanied by excellent white wine, warm bread, and they offered us a delicious homemade limoncello. Excellent value for money. Congratulations, if I ever return to Ischia we will definitely see each other again.

14/05/2026: Beautiful venue, meticulously maintained, with attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional staff. The location is fantastic. We ordered the Ischian-style rabbit, which was excellent. The wine list is top-notch.

26/05/2026: Wonderful restaurant in Montepertuso, up the mountain from Positano reachable by bus if you're staying in Positano. Everything we had was wonderful and you can watch them cook your meal while you eat.

18/05/2026: We came to this restaurant for our last dinner in Italy because we were looking for a truly authentic, family-run Italian experience — and it exceeded every expectation. Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from our Airbnb, we were welcomed from the moment we walked in and immediately felt right at home. The atmosphere was warm, clean, comfortable, and inviting. The food was absolutely incredible — easily the best meal we had during our week in Italy, including both Rome and Positano. We’ve been back in Canada for a while now and I still haven’t stopped thinking about it! Our server was so kind and welcoming, and despite the language barrier, he made every effort to communicate with us and ensure we had a wonderful experience. Overall, we would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Positano who is looking to escape the more touristy spots and enjoy an authentic Italian meal in a warm family atmosphere.

The location in the center of Noli is truly beautiful... beyond the location, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious, carefully prepared food and, above all, the kindness and hospitality of the staff. 29/04/2026: We returned to I Piani this evening, April 29th, for the second time because the quality of the food truly deserves it: excellent seafood, carefully prepared dishes, an elegant atmosphere, and prices consistent with the level of service. For this very reason, I was ready to leave a fully positive review. Unfortunately, at the end of the evening, everything was ruined by the attitude of a young woman serving tables outside, with long hair. Instead of speaking politely, she loudly commented, "Oh, but these are in the middle," referring to my family (husband and son) who were simply leaving. Shortly afterward, she also turned around and laughed with a colleague as we walked away. Such behavior is unworthy of a place that strives for luxury and excellence. In a restaurant of this caliber, one expects professionalism, discretion, and courtesy, not superficiality and disrespect. A simple "permission" can make a difference. It's a shame, because incidents like this end up detracting from the great work done by those who served us so well during our dinner inside. The advice is simple: invest in staff training, because service doesn't end at the table but continues until the customer leaves. A dinner of this caliber deserves to be remembered for its taste, not for the rudeness of a staff member. Daniele Family

23/04/2026: A great experience! We had gnocchi with pesto and ravioli with radicchio and honey, which were nothing short of spectacular. Our main course was a tuna steak, which was also excellent, especially the pairing with the exceptional caramelized red onions. Compliments to the chef, one of the most enjoyable dinners ever.

10/06/2026: You can sit right by the water, the service is lovely, and both the mixed grilled fish platter and the fritto misto are excellent! It's very busy, but the friendly, multi-faceted staff works together seamlessly and has everything under control.
