29/10/2025: I've been to this restaurant several times, and when I had a B&B nearby, I sent all my guests there for four years. They all came back, and I mean, they were absolutely thrilled! Very well-maintained place, fantastic food, excellent service. Highly recommended!

30/10/2025: Excellent food, refined and never banal. The portions are generous and the fish is incredibly fresh. The fish appetizers are delicious, and the fried fish is delicious! The citrus-flavored fillet is a MUST-TRY. A true delight for the palate! The staff is friendly and helpful. We chatted a bit after the service, and I must say that, in addition to being professional, they are also very friendly. Highly recommended!

27/10/2025: A very nice, quiet, and characteristic place, ideal for eating well and spending a relaxing evening. The owners are pearls of people, very down-to-earth, friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. The place offers mostly fish-based dishes of excellent quality, which are served and prepared excellently, from appetizers to main courses! The selection of wines to pair with the dishes is also excellent, and if you don't know much about them, let their sommelier advise you, he won't disappoint! They serve the same menu also in a gluten-free version, including dessert, which by the way is not to be missed. It's basically a homemade chocolate cake with a little pistachio powder that is something indescribable. I assure you that even if you are full at the end of the meal, it will be impossible to resist it!! To return and return. Thank you very much, it is always a pleasure to come and eat at your place.

06/11/2025: A great, authentic place! The pizzeria was packed on Saturday evening, which speaks volumes about its popularity with locals. The pizza was delicious, reasonably priced (€17 for three), and cooked in a wood-fired oven. The lovely lady who took our order didn't speak English, yet she understood our order perfectly. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Alghero!

05/12/2025: Historic venue. I hadn't been there in a while. I organized a company dinner and we were like royalty. The food quality was absolutely excellent, the service was precise and punctual, and the price was absolutely in line with expectations. It's definitely a place I'll return to, even with my family. In short, this is the perfect venue for all your needs. My compliments to the staff, the kitchen, and the entire dining room.

03/12/2025: Good food but not mind blowing. We had: - Appetizer platter - the octopus with tomato sauce and fried pumpkin flower with anchovies was amazing - grilled octopus 5/5 - crab pasta 3/5 (I feel there wasn’t enough crab meat and there was many shell pieces, but the taste was good)

29/11/2025: It was truly the best. The food, the atmosphere, the friendly staff—everything was perfect. It was our last day of our honeymoon, and they even gave us complimentary wine, saying it's good for stamina. Haha. Next time, I should bring a baby. Haha... The blonde waitress and a man named Vincenzo were incredibly kind. For wine, be sure to ask Vincenzo. He's a man in his 40s or 50s. We had lobster pasta and steak, and the wine was perfect, so we were incredibly satisfied. It was the best restaurant I've ever had.

Located in the historic center, in a convenient and charming location, it boasts an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a special evening. The ambiance is refined, with a modern touch that maintains its local roots. The cuisine is the restaurant's true strength: dishes inspired by local traditions, especially lake fish, but reinterpreted with great creativity. We sampled surprising appetizers, such as marinated whitefish and a savory millefeuille with ricotta and vegetables, followed by a delicate and flavorful first course. The desserts, especially the tiramisu and millefeuille, were simply perfect: balanced, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable: the young, knowledgeable, and attentive staff provided expert recommendations for both dishes and wines. The wine list is well-stocked, with carefully selected local and national labels. We also appreciated the value for money, which was absolutely in keeping with the level of experience. One detail that struck us was the restaurant's philosophy: seasonal, local, and high-quality ingredients, treated with respect and imagination. Chef Giorgio Bufalari, with international experience, manages to bring to the table cuisine that speaks of the local area but with a contemporary twist. In short, Gió is one of those places that makes you want to return: for the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the passion evident in every detail. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic and refined gastronomic experience in Bolsena.
