02/04/2024: Nice food in a nice garden. The service was good. They mixed some tables so we had the amuse bouche twice. And we enjoyed it. Regarding the other dishes: The BBQ parmigiana was great, a bit Smokey but nice. Also the swordfish was excellent, although it was a bit boring compared to the other dishes. I can absolutely recommend the Riso al Forno. But, disappointingly, the espresso was cold when it arrived, so for the coffee: only okay-ish. Still, I’d come back any time I’m around.

16/03/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo in questo ristorante, abbiamo gustato un primo: paccheri con ragù di pesce, a dir poco delizioso, e una frittura mista di pesce, davvero ottima ed abbondante. Locale molto carino e raffinato, personale cortese, ottima qualità/prezzo. Consigliatissimo! Top! Provatelo e delizierete il vs palato !

From the first moment Mr. Salvatore was available and ready to accommodate all our requests and satisfy our needs without any hesitation. With patience and irony, which never hurts, he organized the lunch, even advising us against his own interests. 26/02/2024: Cozy, elegant and very clean, Very good Sicilian cuisine with original flavours, I wholeheartedly recommend it... oh I forgot the chef is very attentive to all the customer's priorities. Excellent assortment of Sicilian and national wines. I will definitely go back. Thanks to the staff and especially to his son Giuseppe, a young man full of empathy and professional seriousness.

26/03/2024: Verdura Golf & Spa Resort is a top class 5 star resort, should be. On the positive side: very well trained, very nice staff who are available to answer any questions you may have. All processes are extremely standardized, nothing is left to chance. The rooms are very large, well equipped, nothing is missing here and everything is prepared so that the guest feels welcome and comfortable. The arrangement of the individual guest houses and the entire complex is architecturally excellent, the complex is spacious and spacious, the external and internal appearance of all buildings follows a uniform line, the color scheme is predominantly beige or earth-colored, much of it is decorated in local natural stone. The rooms have spacious balconies or terraces. The balconies have seating and a table, the terraces also have loungers. The view of the sea from all rooms is breathtaking. The breakfast is richly presented and everyone will find something to their taste to start the day. The staff is very attentive, friendly and quick. Many bicycles are available on site to bridge the sometimes stately paths. Here the technical staff could look a little more carefully and remove the "corpses" without air on the tires and without a saddle from traffic and repair them. SPA: the pool is spacious, I would say almost 25 meters long, the water is at a good temperature. The Thalasso outdoor pools are architecturally well done and varied. A nice opportunity to relax in the water pools of different temperatures or just sunbathe on the loungers. The hammam is beautifully designed and very spacious. On the negative side: the golf course was a bit unkempt at the beginning of the season, March 24th. Bunkers, greens and fairways urgently need more attention and special care. What is disappointing is the fact that the 19th hole appears to be closed. No refreshment is possible in the bar immediately after the round! The older trolleys need to be sorted out. On the first day I had a copy that constantly wanted to drive to the right, but otherwise it was a pretty rusty rattle machine. But there are also other trolleys, type JuCad/TiCad, so it works. Another point of criticism is the pricing in the bar/terrace area. A simple club sandwich for €34, I don't think I've ever seen that before, a few slices of toast with garnish. The prices for a small bottle of beer (around €9) or wine are also exorbitant. A cocktail, not very big and opulent, 17€, the prices are not even found in chic cocktail bars in big cities. The amount charged for the minibar in the room is also too high. If you really need that as a contribution margin, it's better to make the room prices more expensive and the extras cheaper. Otherwise this will annoy the guests. I also think that lower prices would bring more sales overall. The seafood restaurant on the beach has a fantastic range of seafood. Unfortunately the map is only available in Italian. Dear management! Not everyone in this world speaks Italian! SPA: The sauna does not meet any standard, the benches are much too narrow, approx. 60 cm, the sauna cabin is also much too small, the temperature is too cool, approx. below 70°C, the oven has not been serviced for years, it is lying only stone dust as a muddy mass between the heating elements, maybe that's why the sauna heater doesn't bring a different temperature? We enjoyed the stay. Thanks

30/01/2024: Fantastic hotel by the sea, which does not have a beach, although it may seem like it. Ideal for golfers and sports practitioners in general. Great route for walking or cycling. Very correct spa. Theme restaurants in the complex. The service in general very pleasant and efficient. A waiter at the bar, very similar to the great comedian Don Rickles, delighted us, without even asking us, with some stories about gangsters, gunshots, and corpses in the trunk, which, if I were not a fan of crime novels, would have made me cringe. tip.

21/02/2024: My boyfriend and I were eating a four course here. The food was delicious, everything tasted very unique. I love Sicilian food, yet often it's a bit too greasy and hard to digest. Here I didn't had this "heavy feeling" after. The waiter was very kind and asking us about allergies and intolerances, which I think is amazing. The restaurant has a warm, cozy atmosphere with lots of pretty artwork. It's located in the beautiful old town of Caltagirone, very near to the big scales. I highly recommend it!

29/03/2024: Very nice little restaurant in a small alley in Palermo. A little away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The waitresses put a lot of effort into meeting the guests' wishes. Food was very tasty. At the end there was a liqueur on the house.

03/04/2024: I was with my wife for dinner, we chose a tasting menu, all the courses were better than the other... excellent quality raw materials, refined dishes which harken back to Sicilian cuisine but with a good note of innovation, a considerable wine cellar, very kind and knowledgeable dining room staff who illustrate each course with a smile and with accuracy..... the open kitchen is wonderful where it is possible to admire the chefs while they prepare the dishes...... and what about the owner and his wife who kindly welcome you at the entrance, put you at ease and accompany you to your table...... nothing, we spent almost two hours between a dish and a glass of wine... ... the time flew by, it was truly fabulous! It goes without saying that we will be back soon, and I advise anyone who loves good, attentive cuisine not to miss this restaurant!!!
