07/07/2026: Fantastic! While passing through Policoro, we accidentally ended up at this trattoria. Simple but functional, it offers good service and, above all, fantastic home-made dishes! (You must try the Frizzuli, they're wonderful.)

17/06/2026: Traveling around Lagonegro for work, this was my second visit to this restaurant! First of all, the waiter was truly excellent. He gave advice and made me feel at ease, which is not a given, considering most of the other waiters always seemed to do you a favor. They were very approachable and attentive to everything! Then, the food was delicious. Everything from the menu always arrived impeccably, a feast for the eyes and the palate. Excellent value for money!

15/06/2026: Nice restaurant, the staff is attentive and quickly approaches me to ask if I'd like to eat. Everything is set with white cotton tablecloths, including the napkins. The oil and spices are clean, and the bread is fresh. The seafood salad was very good and not too large. Since I'm traveling by bicycle, I would have liked wine and beer, but I shouldn't consume alcohol. They also have non-alcoholic beer! It's not great, well, it's non-alcoholic, but still better than no beer at all 😜. I also have a plate of carbohydrate-rich pasta. Also delicious. I would go here again.

11/07/2026: I gave it a very high review, but it was entirely deserved. The dishes were delicious, and the view was priceless. The desserts, made with incredible care and attention to detail, deserve a special mention. Highly recommended, not only for the food but especially for the welcoming atmosphere and the direct sea view. 10 out of 10!

07/07/2026: A truly excellent experience at Ristorante Da Cesare in Cersuta di Maratea. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and professional, with prompt service and meticulous attention to detail. The dishes are excellent, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients that bring out the flavors of the sea. Making everything even more special is the spectacular sea view, creating a unique and unforgettable atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant: we'll definitely be back!

30/07/2026: The owners were so kind and welcomed us even though it was slightly outside of their regular hours. The pizza was exceptional, made with an electric oven! We'll be back if we pass by again! ❤️

04/06/2026: We had pizzas and salad. It was excellent. The atmosphere is simple, and this is a good thing. We sat outside at table on the path and watched the world go by. I will leave Italy knowing I had an authentic dining experience.

10/06/2026: I can't share it yet, I wrote for these reasons, I've been calling at various hours for 3 days to book, no one answers, I sent an email and on the website, in contacts 4 reservations no response, I would like to publish a review of satisfaction, but it seems like an unreachable restaurant!!!!

16/05/2026: This restaurant, somewhat removed from the hustle and bustle of Matera's center, is housed in a beautiful, light-filled room with exposed stone walls. But the real highlight is the food. Each dish is prepared with quality ingredients, slowly simmered to concentrate maximum flavor. Add to that a warm welcome from the owner, who speaks French, and a jazzy playlist, and you have a wonderful way to appreciate the magic of Matera. And don't forget the tiramisu, with its homemade sponge cake, prepared fresh to order for a delightful, sweet, but not overly sweet, ending.

08/07/2026: The expertise, friendliness, and hospitality of the young man who welcomed us and served us expertly from start to finish (even though we hadn't booked) were spectacular. We ordered seafood dishes (including the catch of the day). The raw seafood (oysters, red and white shrimp) was incredibly fresh and rich in flavor without any added ingredients. The seafood risotto was exquisite. The grilled calamari was tender and juicy. All accompanied by an excellent, crisp Chardonnay. To finish, a Jefferson amaro is highly recommended. A relaxing location with an evening breeze and soft background music. Spent much less than expected. What can I say...to remember.

03/05/2026: The staff were truly kind and helpful, friendly, and approachable. The terrace tables offer a truly fantastic view of the harbor, and if you look up, you can even spot Christ. The food was high-quality, from the raw ham appetizer or the ricotta, blueberry, and shrimp cheesecake (truly delicious) to the main courses, finishing with dessert. A wide selection of wines. We even took a look at the kitchen and were surprised by how clean it was (absolutely not expected). We'll definitely be back.

07/04/2026: I had lunch here on Easter Sunday. It was extremely crowded and very noisy. The background noise was so loud and distracting that, even though there were only two of us at a small table, it was difficult to exchange a few words. The meat appetizer was overall not bad, but the stracciatella was cold and the slice of meat roll was tasteless; the paccheri with lobster was good; the cod with peperoni cruschi was embarrassing, as the cod steak was overcooked and tasteless. I don't think I'll return to this place.

05/07/2026: A truly enjoyable family dinner. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness and courtesy, both by the owner and the entire wait staff, who were always attentive and helpful. The quality of the food was excellent. We started with a rich mixed house antipasto, beautifully presented with fresh and flavorful ingredients. For main courses, we chose fried calamari and grilled octopus: both were exceptional. The calamari was light and crispy, while the octopus was so tender, it literally melted in your mouth. A gesture that particularly struck us was the owner's thoughtfulness towards our daughter: before leaving, he gave her two shells. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the restaurant and restrooms, a detail that always makes a difference.

04/07/2026: Overall, the dinner was decent, but I honestly expected more, especially given the numerous positive reviews. The fish was fresh and good quality, no complaints there. The portions, however, were average and not particularly generous, contrary to what I'd read in several reviews. The service was the weakest point of the evening: the waiter got my order wrong on more than one occasion, creating a mix-up that impacted the overall experience. The ambiance also seemed rather basic and lacking attention to detail. Finally, the bill was slightly higher than I expected, especially considering the time of year and the overall quality of the restaurant. It wasn't a bad dinner, but it didn't leave me with the feeling that would make me want to return or recommend it unreservedly.
