Here I found true professionalism, uncompromising quality, and impeccable service. The guys called me "king" (youth slang), but today they deserve the crown. 11/04/2026: I celebrated my 50th birthday and everything was fantastic...the staff were professional and incredibly kind, and the food was delicious. We had the Piedmontese menu: the veal with tuna sauce was amazing, the agnolotti with roast beef sauce was amazing, and the stew with puree melted in your mouth...someone had the vegetarian menu and that was also delicious. Finally, the desserts were excellent...all excellent. Congratulations, we'll definitely be back!

02/02/2026: The restaurant is surrounded by somewhat dilapidated buildings and trattoria-like signs that make you wonder if you're in the right place. Fortunately, once you're inside and savor their dishes, any doubts vanish, leaving room for the satisfaction of savoring high-quality cuisine. Of the many Michelin-starred restaurants I've visited in Piedmont, this is certainly one of the best. Each dish was refined and well-crafted, never lacking in nonsense or neglecting flavors and textures. The service was good but aseptic (just a quick briefing about the dish and off we went), a bit slow (we sat down at 1:00 PM, got up after 4:00 PM), and even the chef was glimpsed in the dining room for just 30 seconds to greet someone I believe was a regular. So perhaps I missed the guidance during the tasting experience, but that's a very subjective factor. The price was truly excellent. Ultimately, this is a restaurant you absolutely must try. Highly recommended.

14/03/2026: Franz welcomes you into a setting that, despite its dated feel, won me over. The service is more than good and friendly. Unfortunately, however, when it comes to the food, I was decidedly disappointed: the "cold and hot" appetizer, the first half of which is very good and spot-on, while the second is bland and doesn't make the most of the fish used; the rice with scallops and Trevisana cheese is a simple, well-cooked risotto, but the scallop is missing and the Trevisana cheese is mixed with the Gruyere cheese—it's bland; the chitarrine are spot-on but nothing special, and the meagre, on the other hand, was well-cooked and paired well. These are the dishes I can speak about, and in the end, I enjoyed it, but the dishes didn't thrill me.

03/03/2026: A delightful surprise upon returning from our holiday in Trentino. A very elegant restaurant, serving delicate cuisine based on fish and shellfish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. An address to keep in mind for enjoying a good meal in the small village of Formigliana.

07/04/2026: We returned yesterday for lunch on Easter Monday. Always beautiful and tidy, and the owner was very kind and welcoming. But one major flaw: there were four dogs inside, one of which was barking constantly and causing a huge nuisance. Lots of people nearby complained. I understand the dog owners' rudeness, but out of respect for the other guests, it would be enough to deny entry. This is just my advice. Excellent service. Great food, but we didn't feel as comfortable as this lovely restaurant deserves.

02/03/2026: We celebrated my daughter's eighteenth birthday. The venue was stunning, overlooking the lake, making it all so romantic. The staff was welcoming and extremely professional, accommodating our every request. A special mention goes to Diego, the dedicated owner, full of ideas and always ready to help. His immediate empathy made everyone feel right at home. If you're looking for an elegant and welcoming venue, Chalet del Lago won't disappoint.
