12/06/2026: The staff were excellent, and it's a romantic spot tucked away from the city. Getting to the restaurant was a bit confusing, so we recommend calling ahead to learn about the restaurant's parking (which is very spacious, by the way). The food selection is varied, from meat to fish, and there's also a wide selection of wines. If you'd like to try the Ischia-style rabbit, you'll need to call ahead to reserve it. We had a mixed antipasto that included both meat and seafood. As a parmigiana lover, I can say that the shrimp with mayonnaise (made by them) was almost tastier and definitely delicious. Everything was excellent!!!

08/06/2026: We spontaneously walked up to the restaurant and were lucky with our table. The first thing we noticed was the beautiful view over the island and the adjacent sea. The second was the friendliness and competence of the service. We had already tried several beach restaurants in Lacco Ameno, and they mainly focused on the expensive bottle of wine, the large fish, and the quality, which didn't live up to the waiters' eloquent descriptions. In short, a great table, a great view, excellent service, a house wine that got better and better as the evening progressed, and a truly harmonious meal. The house wine had a wonderful nose, with fruit and nuts, which was a bit more understated on the palate, but still good. It complemented the dishes perfectly. The appetizer platter was all very tasty and well-balanced; we shared it. My wife had a pasta dish with squid for her second course, and it was very good. I had the fish of the day on creamed potatoes, and I didn't regret it. It was perfectly prepared and cooked to perfection. ... For dessert, I enjoyed a wonderfully crisp tart with cream and crunchy crumble topping – absolutely delightful and not too heavy. My tiramisu was very light and creamy. I would have liked a bit more of the typical coffee, cocoa, mascarpone, and amaretto flavor. But overall, it was a wonderful evening. I would recommend this restaurant.

29/05/2026: Although the food was good, the waiter was not of the same standard. He didn't ask if the food was tasty, just asked "finished?" He wasn't very friendly. He didn't even ask if we wanted dessert after clearing the plates from the main course. Tip for the owner: freshen up the place, make everything a bit lighter.

18/05/2026: WOW. This was our favorite restaurant in Sorrento! And we tried some of the most popular ones while we were there. I stumbled upon this place walking down the alley and luckily there was a couple eating outside and their food looked and smelled incredible. We went the next night and so glad we did, the service was impeccable, our server Tony kept us laughing all night and kept our wine glasses full. The burrata was the creamiest I’ve had in my life and their vegetables come straight from their farm. The lobster with linguine was perfectly Al dente and so tasty. I can’t believe this place wasn’t packed, it was so calm compared to some of the other restaurants in Sorrento. Forget the places with the hype and crowds and come here for a better meal and experience.

04/07/2026: CantiNando What a beautiful place! I dined here two evenings with my family because one wasn't enough. Excellent dishes—meat, fish, and desserts—prepared with passion and the freshest ingredients. The owner is incredibly kind, and his kitchen staff is always smiling. And the dining room is staffed by a fabulous couple. They're extremely kind and welcoming, attentive to their customers, and friendly. It's a shame it's so far from where we live.

16/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Yesterday, the two of us dined at La Preferita, hoping for a relaxed and enjoyable evening with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. And that's exactly what we got. We received a very warm welcome upon arrival and were shown to a wonderful table with a breathtaking view of the sea and Amalfi. Right from the start, we told the staff we weren't in a hurry and wanted to enjoy the evening at our leisure. The visible relief on the team's faces immediately brought a smile to our faces – and that's precisely how the entire evening unfolded: attentive, warm, and pleasantly unhurried. From the antipasti to the primi and secondi, right through to the dolce, everything was superbly prepared and of the highest quality. Every dish was presented with meticulous attention to detail and is highly recommended. Oh yes, and we also received an excellent wine recommendation that perfectly complemented our meal. The personal interaction with the waitresses was also a real treat. Brief conversations blossomed into a warm encounter that made the evening even more special. A huge thank you to the entire La Preferita team for this thoroughly enjoyable evening. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back. Finally, a small request to all guests: Service staff do a fantastic job every day. A little more respect, appreciation, and genuine communication would benefit many restaurant visits. Why not put your phone aside for an evening and enjoy the people, the food, and the atmosphere? La Preferita more than deserves its 5 stars.

Raffaele, the owner, is a wonderful and helpful person; he made all our wishes come true and made everything we wanted come true! The location is unique, surrounded by greenery with a waterfall visible from the reception hall, making everything spectacular! The service and staff were impeccable, and their kindness was noteworthy, especially Simone's hospitality, friendliness, and helpfulness! The food was superb. We received compliments from all our guests, especially those who had never been there before, who literally described it as "a dream location."

23/07/2026: They are true professionals. I celebrated my baby's baptism a few days ago and I'm absolutely satisfied with my choice. The prices were more than fair, the ingredients were fresh and expertly prepared. The staff was courteous, kind, and attentive to their guests' needs. The pool area was fantastic, with a carpet of lights creating a stunning backdrop, meticulously designed down to the smallest detail. Perfect, friendly management, and above all, they didn't stress us out when making decisions... Special mention goes to the pasta alla genovese... Perfect! I recommend trying the other dishes too... 15/06/2026: Wow, what an amazing experience! We got picked up at our nearby hotel and driven to the restaurant. We sat at a table overlooking the ocean for dinner. Each course was finely crafted with an excellent description by the Maitre d' Antonio who was a member of the family that owned the restaurant. The prior day we had attended a cooking class at their sister hotel Zi'Ntonio so they personalized the evening for us which made us feel really special. But it seemed like everyone got star treatment there. We would definitely recommend.

14/06/2026: I'd give it six stars if I could. Quality food, dishes that capture the chef's story, impeccably told by the dining room team. The entire staff was extremely attentive and made our evening magnificent. Professionalism and hospitality complemented the most delicious flavors on the coast. We'll be back!!
