We had an amazing meal at the restaurant. We received a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint! The restaurant arranged transportation to and from our Villa and worked to accommodate a gluten allergy. The staff was amazing and the food was a great way to cap off a trip to Italy. Would highly recommend! We had a mix of starters and everyone had great portions for the main courses and the desserts capped off a great night.

Limited flexibility in editing the food items which is standard in italy but they were very kind to us as we are vegetarian. They made us Gnocchi sorrentino and it was the best italian dish I may have had in my whole life. Ate it twice in a 3-4 day stay in positano. Honestly if you are vegetarian the dish will not disappoint it is hands down created for the gods. So fantastic! The tomato sauce and the basil really shine through the dish, it is truly something special! Beautiful family! Cheers to the chef making such an extraordinary dish, yet so simple. I refuse to eat Gnocchi anywhere else because I don’t want to be disappointed. Truly hand crafted!

A restaurant of the highest standard both in terms of professional and pleasant service and in terms of excellent food. We ordered 2 appetizers that were precise and delicious, 2 wonderful main courses (not huge but not small either - just the right size), one of which we received an early recommendation (black and white pasta) and the other pasta with truffle mushrooms. The desserts were also wow! Wonderful panna cotta and a not-too-sweet chocolate dessert. The kitchen knows its job very well. We enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it. An elegant restaurant with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

A unique experience, service, tasting, atmosphere

This is a wonderful restaurant well worth the trip up the mountain! Our lodging was a quick walk away in Montepertuso, but it is easy to reach via the city bus or arranged shuttle. Beautiful atmosphere, and the service is so friendly. The food is AMAZING -we loved absolutely everything we tried! The black and white pasta and eggplant ravioli were both standouts.

#1 Hidden Gem In Positano & Our Best Meal In Italy! My wife and I were deciding between 3 restaurants in the Montepertusa area for our last dinner in Positano. After booking and eating at all the "top restaurants" that social media videos were recommending we were feeling burnt out. Then we heard about Donna Rosa from a couple weeks met on a hike. We are so grateful we found Donna Rosa! Not only was it our #1 in Positano, but of ALL the meals we've had in Italy (4 weeks and 60+ restaurants). The ravioli dish was hands down the best we've ever had and everything was so fresh and very reasonably priced compared to what we've paid at other places in Positano for subpar meals. If they have the scallop appetizer on the menu... order them! The owner was so pleasant and generous with her time as asked her more questions about herself, her family, and the history of the restaurant than she's probably used to, but I was so curious. Also, Tilda was very knowledgeable and very attentive, down to the finest details. We loved the "at home" feeling of the restaurant and how it truly is a family owned and run business. They were very kind in offering us a private driver to pick us up at our hotel and bring us back after dinner. If we could to back, we would have just eaten here every night.

My husband and I had a magical dinner tonight at Donna Rosa. The atmosphere is elegant yet homey, and the entire team was incredibly inviting and hospitable. We had 3 courses and each one was absolutely delicious. I’m sure you could order anything off the menu and it’ll blow you away. Thank you Donna Rosa for the most wonderful evening and meal of our trip. A must visit in Positano for sure!
