Great discovery in the historic center of Naples. Top service and cuisine, moderate price, to do if you are in the neighborhood!

The food is excellent, the menu is small and clearly seasonal which is always a good sign in the bigger tourist spots. We particularly loved the ziti alla genovese. EDIT: We loved it so much we came back over Easter. We had a pre drink at La Tupia across the road and were collected from there when our table was ready. 10/10 service!

Traditional dishes with a changing menu made from high quality ingredients, good wines and a very nice atmosphere. Plus warm and friendly service. I was there three times during my stay and was very satisfied each time. Many thanks to the kitchen and the service team! I felt very comfortable and can only recommend Campagnola.

Beautiful traditional style trattoria. Excellent food and really friendly and nice staff. The restaurant is located in the middle of the historic center in the busiest streets. We ate there two nights in a row trying different, high quality dishes. They don't have a large menu, which is a good sign. Right things and done well. Well done. Highly recommended.

Excellent dinner in Spagnanapoli, a very nice place, frequented by tourists but above all by locals. Excellent mozzarella in carrozza, as well as the spaghetti alla Scarpariello... prices in line with the area (two appetizers, a first course and a shared second course, with a glass of wine and bitters €48). Welcoming and kind staff, very good.

Locale con una bella 'atmosfera' da trattoria. Piatti gustosi e della tradizione. Io ho provato, Mozzarella bufala e Pasta patate provola Vino al bicchiere Dolce ok Servizio al tavolo positivo Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo No caffè espresso

Ritorno sempre con gusto in questa tipica trattoria nel centro storico , anche se devo aspettare fuori il mio turno però ne vale l'attesa . I miei amici sono rimasti entusiasti ed anche dei turisti ,che discutendo con me nell'attesa , si sono fidati del mio consiglio . Ambiente familiare, ma non invadente : personale disponibile . Noi abbiamo optato per dei classici piatti napoletani ,imitati dai turisti che si erano accodati pasta patate con provola , genovese ,baccalà ,alici fritte e pastiera .Prezzo giusto ed economico .

03/04/2024: We arrived there by chance, as it was Saturday evening and we hadn't booked, the owner still managed to find us a table quickly. The pizza was very good, excellent quality of products. Lately you can only find the gourmet ones with the canotto cornice, which I don't particularly like and often use string cheese instead of mozzarella or fior di latte.
30/03/2024: Nice atmosphere inside and attentive service. I was pleased with the attention to gluten-free. Too bad the flavors of the dishes are a little bland (octopus with escarole on cream of potatoes) or the gluten-free spaghetti completely overcooked and destroyed (and without salt). With gluten-free pasta nowadays it is possible to make very decent pasta dishes, much better than the one served in this restaurant.

31/03/2024: One of the best places in all of Portici and the entire province of Naples. The environment is super clean and the kittens are adorable. Both the owner and the other girls who serve the tables are uniquely kind and make you feel welcomed from the first moment. The menu (both that of desserts and that of drinks including beers and soft drinks) is very sophisticated, changes from time to time and above all all the ingredients and products are of certified organic origin. We can't wait to go back!
24/03/2024: Entering Gatò Bistrot means experiencing a 360-degree sensorial experience. The interior is well-kept, fragrant and extremely welcoming. The very kind staff makes you feel immediately at home, introducing you to the furry guests and explaining the menu! You can interact with cats, paying attention to the rules to leave them their quiet spaces. The food is delicious, with particular care and attention for vegan or lactose intolerant guests: you can feel that they are top quality products. Price normal for the service offered. I will go back with my friends!!
