03/05/2026: We had dinner at Essenza last night and were truly impressed. The flavors won us over: seemingly simple dishes, but prepared with great care and attention to detail, and above all, delicious. The wine pairings were excellent, and the value was truly excellent. 👍 It was the perfect way to end our vacation in Abruzzo. We also really appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, who were particularly attentive to our small children (they prepared a special dish for them). A wonderful experience that we highly recommend! ✨

The only flaw, though really minor, is the acoustics, which, when the place is full, make everything a bit too chaotic for my taste. 04/05/2026: A truly amazing experience. The appetizers were excellent, and the risotto was undoubtedly their highlight. The wine selection is also noteworthy.

03/05/2026: A blast from the 1980s, both in the decor and the service. The dishes are brought on trolleys that look like hospital carts. I found the rice with scampi to be good, although, in keeping with the 1980s, it was flambéed at the table. The service wasn't great, with a terrible welcome, and even later in the service, the "older" waiter in particular was inattentive. He was almost annoyed by our presence and didn't say a word when serving us, while at other tables he was very talkative. For good seafood in the area, it's still a good option; with a few adjustments, it could certainly achieve better results.

31/01/2026: Our expectations were high, and they were pleasantly confirmed. The raw ingredients were excellent, expertly prepared and not mistreated. This time, we tried all the appetizers: raw, boiled, and hot, and we stopped because the portions were more than adequate. A special mention for the fried olives stuffed with fish: fantastic! See you again for first and second courses. A fair markup on the wines. Well done!

The first courses confirm the kitchen's confident hand: exquisite, well-executed, flawless. But the real "wow" moment comes with the seared tuna fillet. A dish that goes beyond words: impeccably cooked, excellent ingredients, clean and profound flavor. One of those bites that lingers in your memory and, alone, is worth the visit. The bill is as surprising as the dish itself: two appetizers, two main courses, and two side dishes, water only, for between 30 and 40 euros per person. Given the quality of the fish and the level of preparation, the value for money is more than fair; in fact, it's definitely spot on. The service deserves top marks: attentive, professional, and never intrusive. The atmosphere is pleasant and refined; the only small drawback is the lack of a direct sea view, as the restaurant is located slightly further inland. This detail affects the atmosphere, but not the dining experience in the slightest. A restaurant that works well, with integrity and respect for its customers. People come here to eat quality fish and leave with a distinct memory: that of a cuisine that knows how to be remembered.

Besides the beauty and uniqueness of the restaurant, which resembles the interior of a ship, with a spacious dining room overlooking the waterfront, the fish is incredibly fresh and delicious. Exquisite, refined, and high-quality dishes; every course, from appetizer to dessert, will leave you speechless. I recommend trying the monkfish, it's excellent! The staff are kind and attentive, and the owners are welcoming and helpful. This place is truly a treat!
