18/12/2025: A huge selection of brioches, some truly unique. Lots of interesting vegan options! We tried the two vegan ones: nettle-juniper-blueberry and the other black cherry-chocolate, both excellent.

11/12/2025: Excellent pastry shop in the heart of Busto Arsizio, right near the Basilica of Santa Maria. Attentive service and exquisite products.

16/04/2026: Clean and pleasant atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff. Two of us went for dinner on a weekday without a reservation and were able to find a table. I had a pizza and a dessert, both very good. I recommend it, good value. We paid €25 each for the service charge, dessert, glass of prosecco, and pizza.

27/11/2025: We happened upon it by chance and were happy with the dishes (quality and quantity) and the welcome in this restaurant with its traditional flavour and atmosphere.

19/10/2025: I stumbled upon this trattoria somewhat by chance, and I have no regrets. I ate truly well and was welcomed by truly delightful people who are passionate about their craft. They explained the composition of their dishes (Romagnolo menu) and how to pair them, and, based on my tastes, they gave me excellent advice. I ordered a slice of beef served on a hot slab of Cervia salt. At first, I was surprised because it was raw, but when the owner set the plate down and said, "I'll let you work tonight," it brought a smile to my face, and I realized this was a special place. It's a truly wonderful and appreciated idea, allowing customers to cook their meat this way to their liking. The quality of the beef was, of course, excellent. I also had a delicious dessert: fior di latte ice cream with honey-caramelized chestnuts. I'll be back.

24/11/2025: We were so pleased with our dinner here! With the help of the Google translate app, we were able to communicate easily with our waitress, who was super kind and accommodating. The potato scallop appetizer was one of our favorite dishes of the trip!

10/11/2025: I went for lunch with my wife, and it was a pleasant surprise. Traditional flavors, a warm atmosphere, and extremely professional and welcoming staff. Congratulations, we'll be back.

30/11/2025: Passing by one morning, I stopped at what looked like a regular bakery from the outside to get a brioche, an apple puff pastry, and a small slice of pastiera. I was served friendly service, but I paid a total of €10, and that's all... it seemed expensive to me, but maybe they've simply adjusted their prices to downtown Varese.

16/11/2025: Excellent experience, Sunday lunch based on fish, dessert, and well-matched wine, everything perfect. We will definitely be back.

11/01/2026: On New Year's Eve 2025, six of us dined at Ristorante Il Pescatore. The menu was very limited, and the prices were extremely high that evening—apparently due to a musician performing. We had to wait around three hours for our food, which was completely unacceptable. The quality and portion sizes of the dishes were disproportionate to the prices: €20 for spaghetti vongole with a mere five clams, or €30 for a beef fillet with very few fries, was outrageous. Overall, the evening was a huge disappointment. For these prices, we expect significantly better quality, service, and organization. We will not be returning to Ristorante Il Pescatore for the foreseeable future—the whole experience felt like a complete rip-off.
