30/11/2025: Passing by one morning, I stopped at what looked like a regular bakery from the outside to get a brioche, an apple puff pastry, and a small slice of pastiera. I was served friendly service, but I paid a total of €10, and that's all... it seemed expensive to me, but maybe they've simply adjusted their prices to downtown Varese.

14/10/2025: Returning from a bike ride, we couldn't believe our way to this small but well-stocked cycling-themed café: from the e-bike charging stations to the trophies on display, to the generous supply of energy bars and gels for athletes, it's got it all. And by the way: coffee for cyclists is €0.90! Recommended stop.

14/02/2026: Absolutely the best pizza! The Maxi is huge and enough for 2-3 people! Fair prices! Authentic Sicilian pizza!

I personally saw the capocollo on my pizza being sliced ​​right at the counter with the slicer. More than fresh! A truly flavorful toss, and the pizza base was generously garnished with yellow datterino tomatoes. The price was reasonable for the quality of the ingredients. Pleasant and simple appetizer, with a bruschetta with zucchini and burrata, also fresh and flavorful. Recommended!

18/08/2026: We've been customers for about 20 years... we came back again a few days ago and... €4 for a 0.50 bottle of water... €7 for a portion of fries plus €0.50 for sauces (as if the margin on fries wasn't enough...) €5 for a can of iced tea... Not to mention the sandwich, whose price doesn't matter, but: a pre-cut ciabatta sandwich, mostly of very low quality, with two slices of ham that weren't excellent... tuna sauce seen through binoculars... the artichokes were good... that's the only positive thing... Guys, now with all the love I have for you after 20 years of frequenting us, the price adjustment seems a bit excessive. I understand the timing, but at least the quality is right... Not even on the terrace at Rinascente are these prices... I'm really sorry, but we won't be back... 😢

04/08/2026: I found the music a bit too loud, making it difficult to converse with my friend. For the quality of the food and the price, I found it decidedly expensive. The asparagus in the bresaola dish was neither fresh nor frozen, but rather canned and didn't taste great. The friendliness of the staff makes it worth another try.

25/06/2026: So I got two seafood pizzas, one had raw tomato, the other now I'll post the photo, I've worked in 4 pizzerias, I've never seen a seafood pizza like this, you could only taste vinegar with raw tomato, it had seafood on the platter, also of low quality, honestly yes, you don't waste food, but we had to throw them away because the vinegar is raw tomato and inedible, we called for clarification, they were right again, I would honestly tell the owner next time, one should specify what's on it since on the menu it says seafood with calamari etc. There's not even a hint of calamari, eh two €10 and already a lot for that pizza, honestly 2, be more polite, it's not the first time, the other time I had raw dough, they pretended nothing happened

19/07/2026: A truly authentic restaurant with outstanding cuisine. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends. A stay in Busto without dinner at Mimmo Duo is a wasted evening.

09/06/2026: Unfortunately, it was disappointing. There were 7 of us, and almost all the pizzas were raw and dry, so you couldn't even cut them with a knife. I don't recommend it.

26/12/2025: A simple, yet clean and basic place. Open late. The staff is experienced and professional. The pizza is good and the price is average. But the reasons that prompted me to write this are undoubtedly compelling: the arancini. Delicious! I tried them both with ragù and cooked ham, and I loved them. Another plus are the French fries: delicious, crispy, and generous. The service is basic, obviously, also because it's free. In conclusion, for a simple and informal evening with friends or family, €15-20 for food and drinks... well done.

17/12/2025: Quiet atmosphere, at least during the hours I go to pick up Amazon packages. For a late-night get-together with friends, perhaps even a slice of pizza (which I haven't tried yet). They say they make excellent pizza by the slice... I'll give it a try.
