19/05/2026: Safe to say, this is probably the cheapest pizza you can get in Northern Italy, being one of the few pizzerias near Milan with prices comparable to Naples, and it certainly doesn't disappoint! Freshly made and ready in 5 minutes, with a light airy crust and thin base, so you can enjoy the whole thing guilt-free, just how Italian pizza should be. €5-6 for an entire 12" pizza is a steal, especially when you're this close to Malpensa airport. You are also spoilt for choice on options, so there's something to suit everyone. The service is excellent, with very friendly people that will happily serve you even 10 minutes before closing time. This is just a 5-minute walk from Gallarate Station, which itself is just 2 stops away from Malpensa Airport, so it's well worth stopping by during a layover or before/after a flight.

16/05/2026: Help, the pizzas have shrunk. They used to be large and satisfying, but now I'm left with a pizza that's half the size of the box. What a shame.

09/05/2026: Dinner with a friend. Nice place with music by a pleasant violinist. The service from the girls at the tables was good and friendly. I didn't particularly enjoy the dinner, however; the appetizer offered wasn't much to write home about: 1.10 kg of Irish Angus beef (just decent) with a side of baked potatoes and mixed vegetables (€12, both very reasonable). A glass of Merlot, two beers, and a water. All for over €130. The quality/price ratio was very poor for us; we didn't eat anything special. I rather enjoyed the music and the friendliness of the girls at the tables. Furthermore, all the knives we used, even when asked for more, didn't cut well and weren't even slightly sharp. Finally, the bill was two really opaque receipts, each listing a fixed menu for €65.50... well, if there was anything left, tip the girls.

03/05/2026: I went for lunch on Valentine's Day. No complaints about the food, but I was particularly annoyed by the service. Once we sat down, they didn't even ask if we wanted water first, and we waited 20 minutes, thirsty and impatient, for the waiter, who had taken too long to take an order from the table next to us. Funnily enough, I also saw a colleague of his complaining about his slowness from across the room. As for the meat, my companion said she wanted it a little more rare, but they did as they pleased. In the end, the bill of 170 euros didn't seem appropriate for what I wrote.

22/05/2026: Found this place by chance on Google Maps. We decided to celebrate my brother's graduation in this charming place—an excellent choice! Very cute place, and Valeriana welcomed us warmly. Very good food and great prices. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

30/05/2026: Thick pizza by the slice or round pizza, always delicious and with a wide variety of flavors. The only pizza that, even if you buy a lot, you can reheat and it stays good.

29/05/2026: I love this pizza, and I go there whenever I can. The only thing I regret is that the pizzas almost always have pork, which I don't eat, or plain, which is just my personal preference. If there were a few more options with fish or, I don't know, chicken, I'd be truly fanatical, but I'll still go there because I love it so much!

13/05/2026: Excellent steakhouse, simply perfect. The steak was superb, cooked to perfection, with outstanding flavor and perfectly seasoned salt. The baked potatoes were soft, yet bursting with flavor. The service was exceptional: extremely competent, friendly, and professional. We arrived spontaneously for a business dinner without a reservation and received a warm welcome. The advice was excellent, and the selection of aged meats was impressive. Everything was just right—no unnecessary frills, just honest, high quality. Highly recommended, especially for its proximity to the airport. Absolutely worth 6 out of 5 stars. We'll definitely be back!

08/05/2026: New, attentive and friendly management. Quality meats, a good wine list, and excellent homemade desserts. For something "easy," they also offer delicious bun burgers in various variations. For dessert, in my opinion, the tiramisu and chocolate cake with strawberry compote deserve a special mention. They're also open for lunch with a convenient fixed-price business lunch option.

12/04/2026: An excellent little restaurant in the center of Gallarate. The exposed brick walls and wine bottles lining the walls create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers the right dishes with seasonal variations, and the entrees are truly remarkable. Among the appetizers, the nervetti salad is definitely worth a mention, melting in your mouth like butter. The risottos (we tried with asparagus and pumpkin) are perfectly cooked and creamed, bringing out the flavors beautifully. The same goes for the pasta dishes (with duck ragù, peas, and pancetta), which are generous and very rich, and truly excellent. Their desserts are also exquisite. Plus, they have an incredible wine selection and a very knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend it and, most importantly, I'll definitely be back.

13/02/2026: We had lunch here today and I absolutely recommend the licorice risotto, which is truly excellent! Kudos to the quality and professionalism of the staff; we were greeted by a very kind young lady. I've been wanting to have lunch here for a while, and I have to say it's worth it, and we'll definitely be back. Thank you for giving us such a great experience.

08/03/2026: We happened upon it by chance last year on August 15th. The dinner was fantastic, the service impeccable and, above all, courteous. We were even unsure about a starter, and the chef overheard it and had it brought over, offering it. We returned and enjoyed it just as much as the first time.

16/07/2026: Amazing place to have a bite! I asked for the recommendation and it was the local specialty pasta with potato, sausage and saffron, it was amazing! Also had a small bottle of Chianti wine and sparkling water, all was €15 - amazing value! Also friendly service in English. Highly recommended to have lunch here.

25/04/2026: A quick and well-organized business lunch (weekly menu). The food was good, excellent quality (spectacular steak!), but the real plus was the service: the waitress was professional, smiling, and incredibly pleasant to look at, making the break much more enjoyable. I'll be back, thanks in part to her.

22/05/2026: The lunch menu was limited in choice and expensive for workers on break. You only had one choice per course, either that or à la carte. They served a first course, second course, and side dish all in one plate, and you had to rush to eat the first course because otherwise the second course would get cold. Of course, everything was served on one plate. The second course was impossible to cut, you had to constantly move the meat around and juggle the side dishes. The house wine was truly poor.

25/06/2026: A pleasant discovery. The menu is entirely gluten-free and of excellent quality. We'll definitely be back!

24/05/2026: Today, we parents of the Piacenza Calcio Under 8 team went to Locanda Nord Est in Gallarate, and we had a truly wonderful time! We enjoyed a generous and high-quality aperitif, with a mix of cured meats and many truly delicious delicacies. The tartare and tagliata were especially noteworthy: delicious and perfectly cooked. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was welcoming and perfect for spending time with friends.

18/07/2026: Burnt pizza, more than once, both takeout and dine-in. It's a shame, but throwing away half a pizza every time is unbearable, especially with above-average, high prices. We won't be back.
