21/03/2026: Terrible service, slow and confusing. They never cleared our table. The food was poor, the fish smelled bad and stale. They returned the dishes dirty and greasy. You could taste the soy sauce diluted with water. An endless wait for terrible quality, and we paid a whopping 40-50 euros per person. Never again. I strongly advise against it.

21/03/2026: I'd been to Web many years ago, but it's completely changed now. I have to say, it's still a nice place, very pleasant, with good service and the quality of the dishes are truly good and balanced, and there's a good selection that easily changes the final price. I have to say, it's a place worth trying, and I think it'll be on my list of restaurants worth returning to. Also, I saw several dishes on the menu that appealed to me, so I won't miss it. We went on a Saturday, where it's definitely busier. We arrived at 8:00 and the service was attentive and punctual. Then, at 9:00, a lot of people arrived, and I think they all arrived at once, but in the end, everything went smoothly and we were very satisfied. So, it's definitely a restaurant worth trying. I tried their ramen, which was very delicate and very good, I'd say.

19/01/2026: Ridiculous minimal dishes: skewers with two mini gemberi. You get 4 skewers, that's two plates, and you can't get more than 10 small plates, not plates, because they're all mini tastings, and it's supposed to be all-you-can-eat. Of course not. And nothing's written on the menu. As soon as you order the eleventh dish, we'll let you know you can't. By ordering several appetizers, you won't get to the main course.

25/12/2025: Extremely kind, precise, and fast. Pleasant atmosphere. Excellent food. We had lunch today, Christmas Day. It's only 15 minutes from Malpensa, so convenient for those who need to travel. Recommended.

There's a wide selection, making it ideal for both those who prefer traditional fare and those who want to try something different. One thing that really makes the difference is the attention to detail and the presentation of the dishes, always inviting and well-crafted. The sushi is fresh and well-balanced in flavor, with successful pairings and satisfying portions. But the real love story? Their handmade mochi 😍 They come in several flavors, but the Oreo one... for me, it's become an addiction. Smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced, it's the perfect after-dinner treat. Plus, they also offer interesting options like a sushi aperitif, perfect for a light evening with friends. If you're in the area, I absolutely recommend it: a place that manages to combine variety, quality, and some truly special treats ✨

15/02/2026: We went to this restaurant on the evening of February 14th for Valentine's Day. I had made a reservation about a week in advance, and only a few days later I was contacted to inform me that the only available times were from 7:30 PM to 9 PM or from 10 PM onward. We chose 10 PM to enjoy a leisurely dinner. We arrived promptly, but we had to wait for a table to become available, and we were seated around 10:15 PM. While we waited, we stood with our coats in hand, and to avoid inconveniencing other customers already seated, we even stepped outside for a few minutes. It wasn't a long wait, but with a reservation and on a night like that, a warm welcome makes all the difference. We ordered almost immediately, and by 10:20 PM we had already chosen everything. From there, we waited over an hour before receiving our dishes. During the wait, we witnessed two incidents that made us uncomfortable. In both cases, the owner reprimanded the same waiter in front of the customers. The first time was for charging a table: the waiter calmly replied that from now on he would ask him first. The second time was for a glass issue, in a decidedly rude tone. Shortly afterward, the waiter took his things and left. We don't know what had happened before our arrival, but the scenes we witnessed were unpleasant. I say this even as a waiter: the pressure is understandable, but certain warnings should be made away from the dining room. Around 11:15 PM, while we were checking the time several times and our disappointment was evident, I heard the owner go to the kitchen and say something like, "Give me something for table X." Our dishes arrived immediately: 24 pieces of sushi, and a few minutes later, another 12. The sushi was very good, no complaints about the quality. However, waiting over an hour for 36 pieces is objectively excessive. One detail that got us thinking: we noticed that many tables were being offered two glasses of sparkling wine for Valentine's Day. We weren't offered anything. It wasn't written anywhere and it wasn't something we were supposed to, but seeing this treatment reserved for other tables and not ours left us feeling unpleasant. Furthermore, at checkout, we heard that some tables were being asked how their evening had gone. We weren't asked this question. This, combined with the rest, gives the impression that they prefer to ask for feedback only when they're certain it will be positive. A post-it note had been placed on the menu indicating a €5 cover charge per person for Valentine's Day. This was a legitimate choice, but, combined with the overall organization of the evening, it gave the impression that management was more focused on the number of seats than on the quality of the experience. We know the place and are aware of the price point, so we were prepared. For this very reason, however, we would have expected service to match the quality of the food. The sushi is worth it, but this time the overall experience was not positive.

28/02/2026: HARU Japan Fusion Restaurant is truly a gem in Varese, offering an incredible menu that masterfully bridges the best of Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The owners are exceptionally kind and welcoming, creating a warm and family-oriented atmosphere that is only enhanced by their very handsome son, who adds to the restaurant's charm. Every dish is a standout, but the eel sushi is a must-try for its rich flavor and the salmon carpaccio is absolute perfection because it literally melts in your mouth with every bite. Whether you are craving traditional Asian staples or creative fusion, the high-quality food and the wonderful family behind it make this the best dining experience in town.

17/04/2026: Very good sushi! We tried it for the first time and were really surprised. The specials were also not bad. The dishes were really good, very tasty, and the service was also very fast (I don't know about weekends, though). The only thing I can say is that tablets would probably be better, and above all, we didn't like the staff at all... It's a shame because there is potential, but the staff, like it or not, makes a big difference to the experience.

15/04/2026: I remain and will always remain of the opinion that "Tao" is the best Japanese and Chinese all-you-can-eat restaurant in the area. We've spent New Year's Eve there twice, having had various lunches and dinners, and the food and service are always top-notch! A total of 10 out of 10.
