11/10/2025: It's like going to lunch at an aunt's house; you eat on the veranda, right in the owners' home. A true agriturismo, simple as it should be. Excellent pumpkin and gorgonzola risotto, and the savory pie and desserts are also excellent. The appetizer was meager, and the price was perhaps a bit high for what we ate. However, we had a great time, especially with the kids.

23/10/2025: I recently had lunch there and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the excellent service. The cuisine was delicious and the dishes were impeccably presented. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

11/10/2025: What a fantastic dinner experience! From the moment we walked in we realized we had come to a special place. This is a boutique family run restaurant that pays attention to every detail to ensure their guests have a memorable experience. Genni was our hostess and even though we didn’t speak proper Italian she took the time to explain everything to us (with a combination of Italian, Spanish and English). We enjoyed a wonderful selection of dishes specially prepared by her partner Alessandro who is a very talented chef. We particularly enjoyed his special interpretation of “zuppa di cipolle” (onion soup Parisian style), his unique “Maialino Ibérico” (slow cooked to perfection!), and a veal “Valdostana” (kind of like a Cordon Blue but with a much better cheese and a very tender meat). Our meal was paired perfectly with a Dolcetto D’Alba Micho, recommended by Genni. And we finished our dinner with a very nice Tiramisu because, “Why not?!” We enjoyed sharing our traveling experiences with Genni and Alessandro who also went out of their way with some excellent recommendations for the next stops in our journey! I highly recommend this place for a fantastic meal when visiting Angera!

03/05/2026: The food we ate was good, but the prices were decidedly out of line, and even more so, they weren't justified by the almost nonexistent and extremely slow service. Also, the bathroom is outside the restaurant. In winter, you have to wear a coat to use the bathroom.

02/05/2026: Good food but ridiculous prices... a bottle of water €5, a cover charge €5 (and the table setting really left much to be desired, there wasn't even a tablecloth), a dessert €12... I thought maybe a small biscuit or chocolate would arrive with the €2.50 coffee, but nothing. No attention to the customer. Too bad.

05/10/2025: For October, we grabbed a table in the sun, and it felt like we were on vacation, outside of Lombardy but in a tiny place by the sea. The idiosyncrasy also manifests itself in the atmosphere: upon entering, it feels like being in a beer garden, and it's truly hilarious to see how longtime aficionados are there. Very distinctive. It doesn't go unnoticed.

06/04/2026: The blonde lady with glasses at the counter/entrance was clearly mentally exhausted and took her frustration out on us. She was extremely rude, very unprofessional, and totally unacceptable. In my opinion, the owners should take serious action. It was an unpleasant experience, totally disregarded. I personally recommend staying away.

18/01/2026: A very characteristic restaurant in the historic center of Angera. A comfortable atmosphere paired with friendly, fast service. The food is truly excellent; I was impressed by the ingredients and the seasonings used.

17/05/2026: It's good to know. During an aperitivo, I found a cigarette butt among my chips, which disgusted me the entire way home. After mentioning it to the wait staff (who weren't to blame), I pointed it out again when paying, in front of the owner, who didn't even apologize. Unwritten etiquette dictates that you at least pretend to show a modicum of remorse by offering your order. But no, between the spritz and the coffee, only the coffee was refunded. Better than nothing, some might say, but €7 doesn't make me poor, nor does it make the owner rich, who would have even received a positive review had she behaved differently. I felt mocked, and on principle, if an owner values ​​vile money more than customer satisfaction, and above all, the hygiene and image of his establishment (considering the recycling of paper chip cones that cost just a few cents), well, then you can't avoid receiving such criticism. Goodbye she says..... I don't think so, I replied.

05/05/2026: We went to this pastry shop after a terrible experience at the nearby bakery. I asked if it was possible to get a toasted sandwich, given that the kitchen might not be open yet. They asked, and shortly thereafter, they brought it to my table. The place is clean, the staff is very friendly, and there's a wide selection of sweet and savory treats. We'll definitely be back.
