29/12/2024: Had dinner with colleagues (the one above or below, it depends, anyway Veronica and others). Unique quality of fish, excellent service, perhaps the only flaw is going out with clothes that taste like fried food. But bearable. Top.

24/12/2024: Had dinner with colleagues in the All you can eat formula: I really appreciated that you can customize the dishes you order by removing or increasing ingredients. However, I was disappointed to find few non-fish dishes, even though Japanese cuisine is rich in them. The place is very nice, although in some places perhaps too "dark", but that is a very subjective thing. The service could be improved, some dishes ordered at the beginning arrived at the end, even with other orders in the middle.

01/01/2025: Excellent local and traditional menu with the addition of fish dishes. During the holidays there are many people with impacts on the service and the liveability of the crammed environment. Still worth trying again, not during the holidays.

01/12/2024: We ate a good and abundant fish-based dinner: a mixed fish grill and a scampi cream risotto. Prices are average. The staff is friendly and fast.

07/09/2024: Ristorante sotto il passo Sella, vista Dolomiti lungo la strada. Ci siamo fermati a pranzo e il locale molto caldo e accogliente si presenta stile Trentino. Menu vario con cibi tipici. Abbiamo preso tagliatelle funghi che risultavano insipide e un po' brodose anche se la pasta era ben cotta. Salsiccia con polenta piatto un po' misero forse due palle di polenta non sarebbero state male, uova speck e patate buoni. Prezzi giusti. Nel complesso buono, direi un ristorante di passaggio.

07/09/2024: Venant de Belgique, je suis un Habituée des dolomites et de cet établissement depuis plus de 25 ans. Je m’y arrête chaque fois manger ou boire un verre en route pour le passo Sella car le paysage est sans pareil. Le personnel a changé souvent mais on est loin de l’accueil que j’ai connu lorsqu’il était tenu par le vieux monsieur. C’était un personnage fier de son établissement avec qui, il était plaisant de discuter, aussi de la grande avalanche qu’il avait vécu. Aujourd’hui, ayant fait beaucoup de routes depuis Valleggio sul Mincio, je comptais à nouveau m y arrêter. J’avais vérifié qu’il était ce samedi bien ouvert. A mon grand désarroi, à 16h15, la patronne décide de fermer sans explication sinon que c est son établissement et qu elle a le droit. Ok, mais un peu de courtoisie et une affiche correcte aurait été appréciable. Car étant fils de commerçants et ayant travaillé ensuite en commerce pendant 31 ans, jamais je n’ai fermé avant l’heure mais toujours après et jamais je n ai jeté les personnes de la sorte. Heureusement j’ai malgré tout pu payer pour profiter des Wc. Une expérience à laquelle jamais je me serais attendu dans ces lieux magnifiques qui connaissent leur gloire grâce aux clients. Dommage

10/12/2024: Do not recommend at all. The service is one of the slowest I've ever experienced. "Waiters" are totally unorganized, probably is the same in the kitchen. Waiting time for ordering : 30minutes. Waiting time for first dish : at least 30 minutes. Main dishes : Meatballs were just taking from the fridge/freezer and heated up, inside was still freezing cold. Same goes for the spinach. Fries cannot be called so, there would be more oil sponges. Overall a very bad experience, choose other restaurants nearby that are way better.

19/11/2024: My girlfriend and I were there this evening, we choose the XL aperitif which includes 9 pieces of pizza each; after eating about half of them we went out to smoke a cigarette and when we returned the drinks were still there but the cutting board had disappeared. I point this out when paying the bill and the girl apologizes, telling me that she would only charge me 6 euros each, which in my house is 12, but according to her it's 16. In conclusion I paid for an XL aperitif but ate for a normal one and the pizza wasn't even good. Terrible experience, not to be repeated.

18/12/2024: This hotel really surprised us. When I made the reservation I actually thought it was from a big corporate chain due to the good reviews and services provided. It is actually a local town hotel with very simple but cute facilities. They picked us up from the airport after calling from our arrival. Took them about 30 minutes after I called but the lady was very precise with the pickup instructions which I thought was great. She was super cordial and already knew we had a reservation. When we arrived I realized she was working the front desk too. Again, very nice lady, very attentive and spoke very good English. Check in was quick and easy. The room was a typical simple European hotel room but had everything we needed for an overnight stay before heading out of Milan next day. Everything in the room worked as expected. Breakfast was actually very good too. Overall was a very nice experience. Driver to the airport was the same that picked us up the day before. Very nice gentleman and had all the 80s songs in the radio. We didn't use the restaurant as it was opening at 7:00 PM and we didn't want to eat too late. The lady in the front desk suggested a few places in the area to eat. We loved our stay!

15/12/2024: Pizza without infamy or praise. At the nearby restaurant "La Pista" I found it much better and tastier. Unsatisfactory service.

26/12/2024: We went for dinner recently, a place we found by chance on Maps because it was close and we were in a hurry, the place is nice and the owner is very kind. The restaurant focuses a lot on meat which is offered in various types and different preparations, there are also some pizzas and first courses. We had some first courses and a steak, all in all we didn't eat badly, perhaps I was expecting a slightly stronger wild boar ragout but it wasn't bad. Three first courses, a cut, a half of red and still and sparkling water a little more than 80 euros. I expected to spend less... A prayer to parents... don't go out to dinner with small children, they get bored and start screaming..

17/11/2024: Capitati per caso, consigliato da un cliente abituale. Atmosfera rustica ma curata, il menù offre buoni piatti. Optiamo per una tagliata. Piatto ottimo, ingredienti buoni e cottura della carne perfetta. Di contorno le patate fritte, ma non quelle confezionate. Vino della casa buono. Prezzi nella norma, servizio efficiente e gentile. Un angolo nascosto da provare.

09/12/2024: Absolutely worth trying. In Luino these guys of Indian origin offer absolutely excellent pizza and Italian cuisine and a very interesting selection of Indian dishes because, as the owner explained to us, it has a more "international" imprint and therefore with dishes that range from spicy to more " mild", really good. Family atmosphere and very nice, very clean and welcoming. Excellent service. I recommend 👍

26/11/2024: Friendly staff, fair wait, we ate well. Simple place and good dishes for lunch. Perhaps at dinner the place might lack atmosphere if you are looking for a romantic dinner but for lunch or business/group dinners the rating is positive.

22/08/2024: I can say with certainty that it is the best ice cream shop in the city, quality ingredients, not too heavy or sugary like everyone else does now, their ice cream stands out because it is truly artisanal, the staff is very young, but they are polite guys, the owner is kind and yes he loves his business. The birthday cakes are well balanced, I recommend them.
