29/04/2026: Anyone looking for something beyond pizza, pasta, or bread with ham and/or cheese will find pretzels, bratwurst, and currywurst here. Unfortunately, W11 isn't located in South Tyrol—and you can definitely taste it.
If you're craving sauerkraut, you can go there; the food this restaurant chain serves isn't bad.
However, despite the attentive service, I can't really recommend it.
17/04/2026: The restaurant's layout perfectly captures the overall impression. Honestly, we came in after a book presentation in the Veratti room because we were late and had no other options. We had Swiss steaks (a burger can't be mentioned), which we asked for almost raw and arrived almost overcooked; a grilled sausage platter; a tagliata that wasn't there was transformed into a fillet that wasn't there (good, but sirloin and always overcooked). For peace of mind, since I was with guests, I skipped it, but the very kind girl serving me understood. The wine list was very limited and overpriced. The only positive thing was the waitress, friendly and professional. One question: how can you put up a sign like that with an interior with extraordinary ceilings?

01/04/2026: Honestly, my expectations were very high, but the Shmitzel was disappointing: the breading promised great things, but the meat inside was "boiled" and looked almost like it had just been defrosted; the cheesecake turned out to be a shortcrust pastry tart with cooked cream.
The quality-price ratio leaves much to be desired. I paid two euros for a cover charge when there actually wasn't one: you sit at a wooden table in the center, with cutlery and paper napkins.
I don't think I'll be back.

11/04/2026: This place is celebrating its 30th anniversary. It's essentially a Bavarian-style beer hall. For a drink with friends, I'd say it's more than adequate; however, if you're looking for something more (food, service, quality), look elsewhere. We had dinner for €50—too much!

17/02/2024: Personale gentilissimo e professionale.
Il mio giudizio non si basa sul servizio che era più che adeguato, ma nasce da un confronto con la Wiener Haus di 20 anni fa dove gustavi davvero piatti che rispecchiavano un po’ di più la cucina tedesca ed austriaca, mi ricordo i brodi di carne e lo stinco di maiale con i crauti.
Rispetto ai miei ricordi, i gusti di ora si sono standardizzati ed italianizzati, addirittura troviamo i burger (anche se buoni, non reggeranno mai nella mia mente il confronto con lo stinco, anche perché ormai li si possono mangiare ovunque nelle solite catene che ci sono oggi).
La birra però è buona, almeno questo si, la rossa è stata buonissima.
Non è che non si mangia bene, anzi, ma non si mangiano più le cose di una volta, quando almeno c’era il tentativo di portare al tavolo pietanze casereccie tedesco/austriache.
15/10/2023: Lenti svogliati e hamburger che sanno sanno di piastra ...
Decisamente non ci siamo..poco personale e tempi biblici..
