01/11/2025: We didn't live here, we were on a trip and this was the only one open. It was getting dark and we were freezing and needed to go to the toilet. We ordered hot chocolate, some with whipped (sprayed) cream and some cold tea (strange given the situation, I know). The chocolate was exactly what you would expect, like a good ciobar, no more, no less. The cream for us Swedes, including my wife who is Italian, was unfortunately "pollice verso" or in today's standard language 👎. But really not anything other than expected. Sweetened cream from a spray can. Other than that perfect, slowly lightly whipped Irish coffee cream, maybe for me with a small pinch of sugar, but not that much at all. I think it cost a little over €30. Not cheap, so we didn't eat anything, but it's the same or slightly lower than in a Swedish café? The toilet was clean and I think everything worked. The view was amazing, looking across the Po Plain to the Emilian mountains. The place felt like it was at least a hundred years old and didn't look like it had been renovated, even though it was well maintained. It fit in well with the rest of the small mountaintop community, like something out of a movie or novel.

31/10/2025: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Appalling service!!! Unpleasant staff with absolutely no sense of service or hospitality. We sat on an open terrace, but no one came to assist us, even though the waiter inside had seen us sit down. After 10 minutes, my 13-year-old daughter went to order drinks and asked for the restroom. The waiter replied in a very rude tone that he didn't serve on the terrace, which was, in fact, open. My husband went back with my daughter, who, as a result, hadn't dared to use the restroom. She was refused access; we had to order something first, which is what we had wanted to do from the start! We left. It's a shame, despite this lack of professionalism, hospitality, smiles, and friendliness. The view was lovely.

30/08/2025: Well, I had higher expectations. The place was a bit dark (we ate outside), the pizzeria was very expensive and had nothing special, and the housekeepers could probably provide a smile. Too bad.

23/10/2025: We have vegan croissants, gluten-free desserts, delicious things of all kinds... but what's the problem with buying lactose-free milk? I go to this bar practically every day... yesterday I went to ask for a lactose-free or vegan chocolate and no, it wasn't there... but I wonder, it's 2025... how many lactose intolerant people are there? You certainly don't risk throwing away a liter of milk, you buy it and when someone needs it comes "here it is, yes, we have it" and then if you make a soy cappuccino you can also make hot chocolate... but details, I hope to change this review to a 5-star one.

27/08/2025: A comfortable location for a getaway with friends or a romantic dinner. Expertly prepared traditional dishes. Top cuts of meat expertly cooked. Attentive service. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the ingredients. Highly recommended.

17/09/2025: Not bad, the only thing is that underneath there is a funeral home, you eat on top and you die underneath, it went worse last time, look at the pan-fried shrimp, it's disgusting, 6 shrimp, even the ugly ones. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

22/09/2025: I rarely give full 5 stars for food, service, and ambiance, but... I couldn't help it. First time the other evening for an aperitivo. We were immediately captivated by the decor... taste, refinement, and style are abundant here, and in fact, they blend together to create a simple and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is top-notch in terms of courtesy and professionalism. The wine list is excellent. The aperitivo box is a great find. The outdoor area is also very charming. The clientele, among the "good ones," helps you relax and enjoy the place and the evening. I'd say it gets full marks, and we'll be back soon and often.

02/09/2025: Great atmosphere. I'm reviewing the aperitivo in a box, a great way to enjoy a meal that's slightly more filling than a traditional aperitivo and less demanding than a proper dinner. It's served until 8:30 pm, after which the aperitivo is "to be composed." Prompt and courteous service. Even though we hadn't booked, they found us a table; there were two of us on a Saturday evening.

30/07/2025: A pizzeria restaurant in a pretty little town square. The town center is a bit drab, but eating out is really nice. Pizza is okay, and the fish, of course, could be much improved. Fair prices!

18/10/2025: It's now a bloodbath where it's almost impossible to have acceptable portions for the aperitif given the amount of people who seem to have not eaten for years and who are raiding the counter

09/09/2025: A small place, but with plenty of outdoor tables, and a quaint atmosphere: part Bavarian gasthaus, part local tavern. The dishes are well-chosen and inviting, and they occasionally host themed days featuring delicious regional dishes. There's a wide selection of sandwiches and piadinas. In addition to Italian craft beers, they also have excellent German beers. Friendly staff. Prices are fair, I'd say; considering the type of place and its central location (in the pedestrian zone), they're not at all expensive. I had a great time there and would gladly return.

24/08/2025: Excellent experience. Spectacular location on the lake, practically on the beach, and a stunning sunset. Prompt and attentive service with very friendly waiters. We enjoyed grilled octopus with burrata and spinach, and calamari with chips and cherry tomatoes. I've rarely tasted a seafood mix like the one they served us, which was so abundant it deserved a doggie bag.

20/08/2025: A very nice restaurant located at the southern end of the lake. The food was delicious and unique, and the service was very friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the restaurant wants to be hip, and bombards its own guests and the idyllic lawn with loud, soulless, and very beat-heavy pop music. There's clearly no sense of the peaceful atmosphere of this place. There was no need for music at all... or if there was, then there would have been some very nice, quieter music...
