26/04/2026: A charming, charming, and welcoming place. The staff is very friendly without being intrusive. A wide variety of food and drinks, for all budgets. The food is high-quality, well-cooked, and plentiful. It's nice that there's no cover charge. The Chianina rib-eye steak with side dishes and the large mixed grill are excellent. Fair prices. We'll be back to try other dishes. Worth a try.

13/05/2026: A small but very welcoming restaurant on the lakeside promenade in Laveno. Excellent food, excellent ingredients, generous and beautifully presented dishes. We arrived almost at closing time for lunch, but they seated us and served us without any problems. Thank you for your hospitality and excellent service. I would also recommend it for a romantic dinner overlooking the lake.

10/12/2025: We dined in the restaurant...a very elegant place with a picturesque view. The staff were truly friendly, especially when it came to off-menu requests, which were all accommodated. You could sense the quality of the products and the attention to detail in the dishes...it was a wonderful discovery, highly recommended.

19/05/2026: The location and the view are truly magical – but unfortunately, that's the only positive thing about it.
We arrived an hour before closing time but were greeted and served extremely rudely. We felt unwelcome simply because we hadn't arrived earlier.
On top of that, the prices are an absolute outrage: 32 euros for just two portions of fries and a polenta! These are pure tourist trap prices that are completely unjustified.
In short: The beautiful view is worth a quick photo, but save your money and frustration for the food. Not recommended!

16/06/2026: As vegans, we're used to eating poorly in traditional restaurants, but instead we were amazed by how good the pizzas were. The ingredients were plentiful, fresh, and well-cooked. The dough was crispy and not burnt. And a good rosé wine by the glass, too. We only spent €38 for two, including fries and coffee. With such a breathtaking view, we expected more. We'll definitely be back.

04/04/2026: The staff are so rude. I asked for getting Parmigiana for my pasta and they started to say no. You should not add it. No respect for customers!!! Also it was so expensive for the quality.
29/03/2026: Fantastic! THE tip for Laveno. Warm and welcoming hosts who value local and healthy cuisine and delight their guests' palates. Cozy dining room. Good wines. If you're in Laveno, then Calianna is the place to go!

27/09/2025: Perfect cocktails! The only place in Laveno for a pleasant aperitivo. I recommend Il bacio di Klimt, a fantastic cocktail: coconut, stega, pineapple, chili pepper, pineapple... The bartender, Patrick, is excellent. The lake view, great music, and friendly waiters are not to be underestimated!

It's always packed, and that already says something...well done!! At Carnival they had chiacchiere like the ones my mom used to make...I gained at least 5 kilos because they were so good...!!

27/05/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant at lunchtime because other places in town were too crowded for us. We were pleasantly surprised by the all-you-can-eat offer for just over €16 per person, excluding drinks. We ordered vegetarian dishes (but with seafood) and were delighted by the variety and quality. Fantastic value for money! I was initially a bit skeptical about ordering via iPad, but my doubts vanished as soon as I ordered more, and I was convinced that every piece of sushi was freshly prepared. Great food, we'll definitely be back!
16/05/2026: They were quite quick in bringing the dishes to the other tables, we waited but many dishes did not arrive...not very positive.

06/05/2026: A very simple trattoria serving traditional dishes cooked just like at home. A great place for a family lunch, a quick lunch, or a dinner with friends. The service is impeccable, but that doesn't mean the trattoria isn't friendly and courteous. I've always had lunch there, and I'll update when I go for dinner.
