26/04/2026: A charming, charming, and welcoming place. The staff is very friendly without being intrusive. A wide variety of food and drinks, for all budgets. The food is high-quality, well-cooked, and plentiful. It's nice that there's no cover charge. The Chianina rib-eye steak with side dishes and the large mixed grill are excellent. Fair prices. We'll be back to try other dishes. Worth a try.

08/04/2026: The restaurant is right on the beach promenade, but unfortunately, not many restaurants were open. The food was very tasty, small portions but delicious nonetheless. Unfortunately, the service was really poor. It was very hectic, and we didn't feel welcome. It was more of a rushed affair; we arrived, were served quickly, and received our food after 10 minutes. The children's portions were more suited to very young children; had we known this, we would have ordered a normal-sized portion for them. We wouldn't be coming back.

10/12/2025: We dined in the restaurant...a very elegant place with a picturesque view. The staff were truly friendly, especially when it came to off-menu requests, which were all accommodated. You could sense the quality of the products and the attention to detail in the dishes...it was a wonderful discovery, highly recommended.

15/04/2026: It recently changed management. They're friendly and original (chef!).
The decor isn't exactly my cup of tea, but it's okay.
Excellent cocktails and a well-stocked complimentary platter. Fair price. You can upgrade the aperitivo to aperitif dinner. Techno music for young people (I'm not, but I like all music, so no problem).

04/04/2026: The staff are so rude. I asked for getting Parmigiana for my pasta and they started to say no. You should not add it. No respect for customers!!! Also it was so expensive for the quality.
29/03/2026: Fantastic! THE tip for Laveno. Warm and welcoming hosts who value local and healthy cuisine and delight their guests' palates. Cozy dining room. Good wines. If you're in Laveno, then Calianna is the place to go!

The service was excellent; one waitress even tried to speak a little French.
Everything was delicious, from the cocktail to the dessert.
Reservations are recommended depending on the time.
Highly recommended.
08/04/2026: Absolutely perfect! After having less luck at another nearby restaurant the day before, we were thrilled with this one! The food was incredibly delicious, the service was excellent, and the value for money was very good! We'll definitely be back, thank you!

27/09/2025: Perfect cocktails! The only place in Laveno for a pleasant aperitivo. I recommend Il bacio di Klimt, a fantastic cocktail: coconut, stega, pineapple, chili pepper, pineapple... The bartender, Patrick, is excellent. The lake view, great music, and friendly waiters are not to be underestimated!

13/02/2026: Currently the restaurant with the best value for money on the Eastern Shore. Traditional dishes, well-cooked and served in equally satisfying portions. The chocolate salami is absolutely the best I've ever tasted. It's a shame they can't make a note of your reservation: when you arrive, they'll just place you anywhere, and sometimes it's almost right on your doorstep... 🫤

12/04/2026: This restaurant enjoys a beautiful location in Laveno, close to the lakeside promenade. A generous and creative selection, and satisfactory service. Prices are slightly high.
25/03/2026: The lunch menu is the most carefully curated I've seen so far at any sushi restaurant. The place has a lake view and the price is fair. The waiters are a bit unenthusiastic, unfortunately, but that's the case with all sushi places these days.

28/02/2026: Excellent... Super fresh fish... it feels like being in Milan... A welcoming atmosphere, like being at home... Excellent prices and attention to detail, from the biscuit to the coffee, to the little details. The friendly owner and son of the owner, Davide, is super smart and easy-going. (Lately, you have to book on weekends because their good work and professionalism bring in a lot of customers.)
