17/04/2025: Ci sono stato a pranzo con la mia fidanzata. Locale pieno di avventori. Menu molto vasto. Buona accoglienza, servizio non velocissimo. Nuova gestione. Abbiamo scelto vitello tonnato, tonnarelli cacio e pepe, gnocco fritto con prosciutto crudo e spaghetti alla carbonara, piatti abbastanza buoni e abbondanti. Conto onesto per essere vicini al centro di Milano.

28/03/2025: We went to 'O Macarò for Valentine's Day dinner, but unfortunately the experience did not live up to expectations. Initially, a 20% discount and the possibility of ordering à la carte were advertised, but a few days before the event we were contacted by the owner, who informed us that the only option available would be a fixed menu at €65. When we arrived at the restaurant, we noticed that some tables were still ordering à la carte and even pizza, which was not included in the fixed menu. A customer pointed out the situation to the owner, who responded rudely, saying that those were his rules and that, if she didn't like them, she could leave. We continued with the fixed menu anyway, without pizza, but adding an extra Margherita. The pizza is definitely the strong point of the restaurant: excellent dough and really well made. The rest of the menu, however, was not up to par: the tartare was of mediocre quality and in a very small portion for an appetizer, while the pasta was overcooked (perhaps an error only on our plate, but still disappointing). The only truly worthy dish was the pumpkin pie with parmesan cream, very tasty. Another negative note was the issue of the price of the wine: we ordered a Valpolicella marked on the menu at €30, but when we got the bill we were charged €40. We called to report the error, and were told that they would refund the €10, but only if we physically returned to the restaurant the next day, which is impossible for those who don't live nearby. In short: excellent pizza, but organization and service need to be reviewed. The impression was of a lack of transparency in the management of the Valentine's evening, which had a negative impact on our experience.

19/03/2025: The food is good, but the price is definitely too high for what it offers. The thing that really disappointed us, however, was the management of the reservations. Not only did they cancel our reservation through The Fork after having dined, but we suspect that they do it to avoid paying the commission to the platform. An unfair practice that ruins the experience, despite the food being of quality. An excellent dinner, but a decidedly disappointing service.

29/03/2025: Great food, big portions! Ordered a carbonara and a big beer, it came with a little starter of fried vegetables and deli meat. 12€. The Italian grandfather that runs the spot is very nice.

10/04/2025: The dishes are good, well laid out and the portions are also correct. However, some dishes have slightly unjustified prices. The location is worth it, it's a shame that not all the tables are arranged in the best way, however the restaurant is well looked after, with the right background music and works to embellish everything. The service is good but there are some small details that could make the difference. The Chianina fillet and risotto with ossobuco are worth it.

25/03/2025: The spicy sauce prepared by the chef has a bit of the flavor of hot pot base, which is quite interesting.

25/03/2025: The finest wine I've ever had! The pasta is also perfect! Tiramisu exactly how I like it. The staff is very polite and approachable. If I wanted to, I couldn't find a complaint. :)

27/03/2025: Mudec is a certainty: it always disappoints. Free exhibitions are inconsistent, poor, badly lit. Few reductions for paid ones that are expensive. I would like to know who benefits from this juggernaut

23/03/2025: I went to a Picasso exhibition in 2024 and, although it was very well advertised, it was quite sparse: a few minor paintings and some preparatory drawings. I tried to visit the permanent exhibition spaces (free) today (Saturday), but everything was closed due to a union meeting of the hall staff. The exhibitions were also all closed except one. It would have been useful to know this beforehand (the communication on the website had not yet appeared last week, otherwise we would have avoided going). Too bad, I will try again!

05/04/2025: Cozy and informal place, very kind staff, really good pizza, lots of choice on the menu, the Egyptian starter is also recommended (the falafels are especially excellent). Good value for money.

13/04/2025: Very nice place! We went here for lunch with colleagues. The cutting boards with the usual things, plus the delicious mondeghili. Some of us took the Croatian meat (?) and others the cutlets to share and others the fillet. The rib good, excellent flavor and excellent cooking. The cutlets were too fatty, it looked like there were flakes of butter added at the end of cooking. The fillet was inedible... cut very tall and hard, it was not chewable... The desserts were really good, fresh and tasty. I WAS VERY SICK ABOUT THE PRICE WE PAID €60 per person (there were 10 of us with 4 bottles of wine costing €20), I find it very high for a tavern.

12/04/2025: Excellent service, professional and welcoming, attentive and precise, excellent food and high quality, care in the plating, delicious pizzas too, very nice place. Exceptional asparagus and goat's zola risotto, jacket potato with very delicate yogurt and chives. Well done!

02/03/2025: Questo ristorante propone sostanzialmente un menù a prezzo fisso, composto da un pinzimonio di benvenuto, svariati assaggi di salumi, un paio di primi, assaggi di formaggi e un sorbetto finale. Ogni portata è abbinata a una bottiglia di vino sempre diversa, che viene lasciata a disposizione del cliente. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, ho trovato i salumi di buona qualità; dei due primi, buono il risotto al radicchio mentre le mezze maniche alla carbonara avevano una quantità eccessiva di pepe, che copriva tutti gli altri sapori e risultava troppo aggressiva al palato; il carrello dei formaggi risulta scenografico per la moltitudine di prodotti offerti, ciascuno accompagnato da una bandierina col nome, tuttavia in quelli che ho provato ho riscontrato una qualità medio-bassa. Per quanto riguarda i vini, il livello è discreto; non si tratta di vini ricercati ma nemmeno scarsi. La percezione che abbiamo avuto è quella di una ricerca un po' esagerata della spettacolarizzazione attraverso varietà e quantità. Si esce con un'impressione generale di un'abbuffata e di un'abbondante bevuta ma senza un ricordo chiaro di qualche singolo prodotto di eccellenza. Lo staff è gentile e puntuale nell'elencare tutti i salumi e i vini proposti, tuttavia a seguito di qualche domanda più approfondita non è emersa una vera conoscenza dei prodotti e degli abbinamenti. Il costo di 80 € a persona è giustificato dall'abbondanza, sopratutto dei vini, però credo che nel complesso un po' di qualità sia stata sacrificata rispetto alla quantità e con una tale cifra si potrebbe ottenere un risultato migliore anche riducendo la qualità.

06/04/2025: The food was from frozen ingredients... We ordered a stake that was clearly done from frozen meat because it was tasting like a fridge..., carbonara without taste... Hobby you can do better than that...
