20/01/2026: I really enjoyed my time at Albergo le Due Corti. It’s a fantastic boutique hotel with a lot of character. The location is "nice and easy"—super convenient for getting around without any hassle. You can walk to the lake from here through the plaza easily and the experience is wonderful. Rustic feelings at this place will definitely leave a positive impression on you. The lobby has a great vibe the moment you walk in; it feels very welcoming and has a cool, stylish atmosphere. I also have to give a shout-out to the breakfast. There was a solid variety of food, which was a nice way to start each morning. Complementary candy at lobby is something I always like and it had that. The lobby was full of sunlight and it created a nice overall atmosphere. The only minor downside was the room accessibility. Because it’s an older, more historic building, the layout can be a bit awkward. Getting to the room or moving around inside it felt a little "out of comfort" at times—not a dealbreaker, but just something to keep in mind if you prefer a more standard, modern floor plan. Overall, a lovely place with plenty of charm. I’d definitely stay here again!

10/01/2026: Spacious and very clean room, convenient hotel in the center of Como, their reserved parking is also very convenient for €20. Abundant breakfast, friendly staff. Nothing negative to say about this hotel, I had a great time! I stayed in January 2026.

09/09/2025: I must say that despite the less than stellar reviews, we ate well. Recommended by the staff, we had three delicious fish-based first courses (some fresh, some frozen), two fried calamari and shrimp dishes (frozen but good), well-fried, crispy, and not greasy, and a roast swordfish and shrimp. Three excellent, freshly made tiramisu concluded the meal. The wine was good, and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend it.

08/09/2025: For a few years now, we have been regularly frequenting this lovely place during our holidays in Salento. Good food, good service, and excellent value for money, both for a pizzeria and a restaurant. All of this is often accompanied by background music, which is always a plus. I highly recommend it!

18/03/2026: The breakfast croissants are absolutely amazing!! I need to go for blood tests more often so I can stop here for breakfast afterwards... much better than the Sant'Anna bar! 😀

13/03/2026: Cafe at the Garden centre. Cappucho is excelent, service - masculin. All soet of local men who came after got served before i could offer my money... Not a pleasant feeling.

21/03/2026: I came in here because I was passing by, I wanted ice cream but it wasn't available at the totem. So I ordered two Happy Meals for which we waited over 20 minutes, at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2026. The place was empty and there were few drive-through orders. When I complained to the staff that the order hadn't arrived, the response was that there were only two of us and the order basically didn't exist (or they had already assumed it was done in a hurry), and so if we hadn't complained, it would practically never have arrived. The quality of the sandwich is beyond reproach; the bread was dry and perhaps old, and it stuck to the chicken cutlet so I almost couldn't get it off. I'm attaching a photo.

09/10/2025: The hotel is historic which I like, location was excellent, rooms and food were terrible. Service was good. They gave us a water kettle and tea bags when we asked for them.

08/10/2025: Friendly and keen to serve staff, fantastic location and a nice breakfast. Unfortunately our stay was spoiled by frequent cockroach visitations in the bathroom!! It would have been at least a 4 star....

It's a shame they bring you the menu in Swiss francs, but then at the cashier the owner changes the amount and charges you in euros, applying her own price and rounding it up... She says she can't charge you in francs, but they don't bring the menu in euros. Not very fair. It's a shame I would have left a tip for the waiter.

13/11/2025: There's no menu to consult (or to check prices on): upon entry, a series of dishes is hastily listed, otherwise they inform you: piadina or sandwich, unspecified. Instinct immediately tells you not to venture into the culinary offerings, and therefore: piadina. The piadina with "cotto" (very salty) is indescribable: in the most modest discount store, I think you could find better ingredients, starting with the piadina itself, followed by the spalla cotta (a cooked ham that didn't make it) that was sparingly stuffed. Of course, no one expected a luxury restaurant, but it takes a lot to make a piadina inedible... I'll let you know if my dog ​​will appreciate it; I put it in my bag, even if I hesitate to give it to him. The place is empty, dark, smells of old cigarette butts. Tables without paper placemats. The piadina costs €7, a fair price if it had been edible. I'd like to add, following the Alternativo's piqued response to my comment, and since this is the only way, that the QR code menu at the tables was nowhere to be found, and we asked for it twice. In response, you told us to sit down and you'd come, and you half-heartedly reeled it off verbally. I understand people don't like a negative review, and "local guide" is a title given by Google regardless, after all, following consistently positive reviews. Except for yours. Oh, don't worry, we know how to use QR codes; we work in networking. I'd say we can close the debate, and you could simply try to present yourself more honestly and, above all, with edible piadinas.

12/06/2025: Absolutamente una de las mejores comidas que hemos tenido. Maravillosa ubicación al otro lado de la carretera del lago de Como. 4 platos que pedimos fueron limpiados. Prueba la Lasaña Boloñesa, Atún con verduras y el risotto - eran todos impresionantes.

01/03/2026: Very cute little place, with a pebbled walk to get there. For those with strollers, it's best to call and use Lorenzo's fantastic service with his super cool military jeep. The cabin has a large outdoor area and a breathtaking view, good food, and excellent service. Lorenzo is very nice and helpful, I recommend it; it's a very worthwhile little place. In spring and summer, there's a bar service for after a walk, and in autumn, it's great with the kids to pick up lots of delicious chestnuts.
