22/05/2025: Thieves!!! I happened upon it by mistake. Never a worse choice. A piadina and a 0.5 bottle of water. 11 EURO. I was passing by for work and when I asked if they had a set menu the answer was "yes but only for workers, I don't know if you are a worker." P.S. piadina one euro more because I asked for it with brie' instead of mozzarella. I repeat THIEVES

17/05/2025: We were tempted to use it because we had to wait for a ferry. The place is not very charming, and the construction work going on nearby does not help. However, we ate the tastiest pizza in Italy there! We were very surprised by the taste, the sauce made of real tomatoes, the amount of toppings and the quality of the dough. We recommend it with a clear conscience. We will definitely come back on our next visit.

11/06/2025: Un tempo si mangiava bene, ora la qualità dei prodotti è pessima e i prezzi sono veramente assurdi… 24€ per uno spaghetto alle vongole…10€ per una margherita…Di sicuro puntano sui turisti esteri perché di certo un napoletano (ma ovviamente anche un italiano) lo capisce subito che le materie prime non sono di qualità. A Como si sa i prezzi sono alti ma personalmente sono anche disposto a spendere tanto se poi mangio bene, ma qui spendi uno sproposito e mangi cibo mediocre. Personale comunque gentile anche se molti non parlano bene l’italiano. Peccato per il cibo perché fino a qualche anno fa si mangiava bene e con la giusta qualità-prezzo, adesso è diventato una trappola per turisti.

05/03/2025: Se cercate una cena indimenticabile a Como, Fratelli Coppola è il posto giusto! La pizza è fantastica, con impasto croccante e ingredienti freschi che esaltano la tradizione. I dolci della casa sono deliziosi, e per concludere, gli amari offerti dalla casa aggiungono un tocco speciale. L’atmosfera è accogliente, perfetta per una serata tra amici. Servizio impeccabile e una vera garanzia di qualità. Consigliatissimo!

12/06/2025: Terrible service,had to ask for everything including menus,waited for dessert menu again we had to ask.they don't tell you that you pay at the counter so people waiting to pay their bill. People around us were getting up to go inside to ask for the bill the menu ect... don't waste your time. Food was nice when it arrived but I'd never return

11/06/2025: We arrivedbybus from Como and the place was humming We ordered toasted cheese sandwiches from a ser er who, apparently,was never thought to smile! The toasts were fine and the owners.easa t. When you wife paid she commented to him about the servers lack of customer relations to which he replied it was a hard job. We worked in a full hotel dining room but knew the customer came first!

18/06/2025: Stopped after the appetizer. Taste was below average.

17/06/2025: Very expensive and small portions. Spent €85 for four people. The food tasted good, but unfortunately the portions were much too small. It didn't fill you up. The view of Lake Como was excellent. Only the noise from the busy road was very disturbing. I wouldn't recommend it. You pay far too much.

25/05/2025: There is not much to say, they have to improve, because of their customer base, they do not provide good service.

24/05/2025: An excellent place to have a coffee and eat a sweet treat in Como It will be difficult to choose, they are all great

14/06/2025: I will definitely not return, 1 hour wait, dishes arrived late and we ate at different times. One of us gave up. Almost no apologies, just that there were too many people ...... Which should be normal in a restaurant (it wasn't crowded). Portions not really satisfying, high prices for some things.

25/05/2025: We only had a coffee and tiramisu. Both were delicious and quite expensive, but you know that beforehand. The regular latte macchiato is half the size of what you'd get elsewhere. The service is friendly but slow and only comes when you call. We had to wait a long time for the tiramisu, even after asking several times. By then, the coffee was already gone. All in all, though, it's okay.

09/05/2025: Tragedy! We only ate because it was siesta. Carbonara like from a can. Prices like in the best restaurants. Nice and polite service.

26/05/2025: What can I say? You eat and drink great. The place is beautiful. The staff is excellent. Ok.

26/12/2024: Let's keep in mind that I usually go to get bread from them (even if the prices of bread are quite high). Since I needed milk in addition to bread, I bought a liter of milk, at a cost of €2.30 per litre!!!! Furthermore, in the small fridge where I got the milk (with an expiry date after (7 days) there were other packages that had already expired. 🙄 I can find the same brand at Bennet at the same price but in 1.5 liters with a much longer shelf life. (Big difference I would say). I also happened to get some dried pasta, even those with very high prices. Ok we are close to the Customs but Monte Olompino is part of the Municipality of Como.. and not of Chiasso 🤷🏻‍♂️ After this rip-off I honestly stuck with it and I'll go get the bread elsewhere too. But it costs the same at the bakery in Ponte Chiasso so I'll go there.

01/06/2025: 23.50 for two cans, a cold cappuccino, two croissants, and a squeezed juice. The order also arrived wrong. The environment was not very welcoming, as were the people who worked there, who didn't even say hello when we arrived. Absolutely not recommended
