22/02/2026: Restaurant with gluten-free options. The pizza, risotto, and fried food are all very good. I really enjoyed the Taranto-style mussels, which were nice and spicy.

07/01/2026: I bought two clouds on January 2nd and was assured they were fresh that day. I ate them the next day with relatives and they were at least a week old... I know the product very well; I've been buying it for at least 20 years at all Beretta stores, depending on where I am. I've never found the product that old. But what really makes me angry is the mockery of telling me it was fresh that day. During holidays and lockdowns, it might not be fresh, but just say so and I won't buy it. I made a bad impression on people who were trying the product for the first time. There's no point in putting an ingredient sticker dated January 2nd... I hope it doesn't happen again...

11/07/2025: This is a historic restaurant in Domaso that has had several different owners for varying lengths of time, but all have maintained the unique character of the osteria. Access is gained by descending two steps into two rooms with exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the rooms are modernly furnished. The menu offers classic lakeside specialties and well-prepared seafood. The wine list is decent, and prices are reasonable. It's popular with tourists seeking this historic atmosphere, and they don't mind the lack of lake views. July 2025: closed until a new owner is found.

03/07/2025: This was our second time at this restaurant, and once again we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! The food and service were fantastic, and the interior was cozy. A very pleasant and warm atmosphere. This year, the older chef came by again to ask if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was alright. And it was! As we were leaving, we made sure to thank him personally once more! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

06/06/2026: Very negative experience. This is my third time at this restaurant, and unfortunately, I once again received terrible treatment. I was disappointed by both the quality of the food and the attitude of the staff, particularly a woman in her forties, who was rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I politely asked to replace the pork cold cuts with an alternative, but my request was denied without any consideration for my needs and with an attitude that I found disrespectful toward the customer. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this restaurant.

07/04/2026: We only went in while waiting for a bus and ordered coffee and cake, which turned out to have been taken straight out of the freezer right in front of us. Not homemade, just cheap, store bought cake. We didn’t expect much from this place and normally I wouldn’t complain, but the most shocking part was when my husband went to pay. They charged us €22 for two espressos and two pieces of cake, which were still frozen when served. I won’t be sending my husband to pay next time for sure! If it had been me, I wouldn’t have paid that. It left us in a bad mood for the rest of the day. An absolute rip off..

09/09/2025: I must say that despite the less than stellar reviews, we ate well. Recommended by the staff, we had three delicious fish-based first courses (some fresh, some frozen), two fried calamari and shrimp dishes (frozen but good), well-fried, crispy, and not greasy, and a roast swordfish and shrimp. Three excellent, freshly made tiramisu concluded the meal. The wine was good, and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend it.

08/09/2025: For a few years now, we have been regularly frequenting this lovely place during our holidays in Salento. Good food, good service, and excellent value for money, both for a pizzeria and a restaurant. All of this is often accompanied by background music, which is always a plus. I highly recommend it!

06/04/2026: So on Google it didn't specify that it was a bar/restaurant, we arrived and the welcome wasn't the best. We went in and the barmaids continued talking among themselves as if we didn't exist, the waiter made us sit at the table... There were two adults and a child... when we called we specified to give us the high chair... and there was... But dirty... evidently never washed with shoe prints and accompanying hair... We asked for pasta with tomato sauce for the baby and to cook it well because he doesn't have any teeth yet... it arrived and was al dente, oh well we sent it back and asked for a more cooked one... I ordered the baked goat and my companion the braised one with polenta. On my plate I counted 5 hairs so I sent it back and asked if I could please have another... The waiter told me that the hairs I found were from the goat's legs and that if I had ordered that plate again I would have found more. Absurd... So I ate pasta with my son... my partner got braised beef with polenta... two slices of dry meat reheated I don't know how many times with 300 kilos of butter and wine... polenta was also stale... In fact, when he got home he had to run to the bathroom. Terrible experience.

21/03/2026: I went there twice for a quick dinner. The pizza I had (sausage and broccoli rabe) was very good, and the homemade tiramisu was delicious too. For a Coke Zero, a pizza, a tiramisu, and a coffee, I spent 25 euros.

04/11/2025: If I could give zero stars, I would! Until over a year ago, it was a nice place, with friendly, smiling, and welcoming people! Over a year ago, it changed management, and the place has become cold... every time you go, something is always missing! Soon, I'm afraid I'll find myself parking out front and not even finding a spot anymore...! The owner, whether he's there or not, practically doesn't change, because politeness doesn't even know where it belongs. And above all, every time you go, if you pay him, you risk getting the same thing over and over again, but with different amounts... It's out of this world!

28/03/2026: Great location, but unfortunately the service wasn't up to par. After the market, we sat at a table that hadn't yet been cleared and waited about 10 minutes without anyone noticing us or serving us. There was no greeting or any response. In the end, we left, feeling unwelcome.

27/01/2026: Conveniently located hotel for those arriving by car. Clean rooms in good working order. Friendly, helpful staff. For longer stays, the (basic) breakfast buffet offers little variety. The restaurant has a rather small menu in the mid-price range for dinner service. Alternatives are about a 20-minute walk away, but due to the (mostly) non-existent sidewalks and the fast driving of some locals, this might be frightening for some.

14/01/2026: Friendly Stuff, frequent cleaning, breathtaking view, but rooms need to be renovated! ( TV doesn't work, refrigerator is too small ). Also breakfast should have at least 2-3 different varieties!

23/05/2026: We were on vacation and ate at El Merendero. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. There were four of us, but the food arrived every 10 minutes. Everyone practically had to eat alone. First, my son's fries arrived, then about 10 minutes later, my wife's bruschetta. Another 10 minutes later, my son's spaghetti arrived, but it was the wrong kind. After that, we had to wait again. Last, I received my dish, which consisted of cold eggplant and zucchini. The meat was so tough it was almost impossible to chew. We have rarely experienced such poor organization and quality. Very disappointing.
