01/06/2026: We decided to give this place a chance, especially because of its beautiful location overlooking Lake Como — and the view truly is stunning. The setting is definitely the highlight, with a breathtaking panorama that makes you want to sit and enjoy the atmosphere for hours. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t live up to the expectations. The service, particularly from the owner, felt rather unmotivated and not very welcoming, which aligns with what other guests have mentioned in their reviews. The menu was quite limited and didn’t offer much variety. In particular, there were very few (if any) appealing vegetarian options, which made it difficult to find something suitable. While the restaurant focuses on traditional Italian and local dishes, the selection could definitely be broader to cater to different preferences. Overall, this restaurant has clear potential — the location and setting are truly unique. However, to match that potential, improvements in service mindset, menu variety, and overall hospitality are needed. If those aspects are addressed, this place could become a real gem.
