02/04/2026: It's not the first time I've stumbled upon this pizzeria by accident... I ordered a pizza that arrived burnt and inedible, and I could hear constant noise from the kitchen!! ... I don't think I'll be back again.

02/06/2026: This morning, a terrible experience. We wanted a quick breakfast and went to the drive thru. The egg muffin wasn't available at 10:35 (it's only available until 10:30), the Nutella muffin was 2-3 days old, dry, hard, and inedible (the ones from the day before are usually still edible), and the chocolate sundae didn't even show any chocolate through binoculars. The only things that were okay were the mc toast and mc pops.

20/01/2026: I really enjoyed my time at Albergo le Due Corti. It’s a fantastic boutique hotel with a lot of character. The location is "nice and easy"—super convenient for getting around without any hassle. You can walk to the lake from here through the plaza easily and the experience is wonderful. Rustic feelings at this place will definitely leave a positive impression on you. The lobby has a great vibe the moment you walk in; it feels very welcoming and has a cool, stylish atmosphere. I also have to give a shout-out to the breakfast. There was a solid variety of food, which was a nice way to start each morning. Complementary candy at lobby is something I always like and it had that. The lobby was full of sunlight and it created a nice overall atmosphere. The only minor downside was the room accessibility. Because it’s an older, more historic building, the layout can be a bit awkward. Getting to the room or moving around inside it felt a little "out of comfort" at times—not a dealbreaker, but just something to keep in mind if you prefer a more standard, modern floor plan. Overall, a lovely place with plenty of charm. I’d definitely stay here again!

10/01/2026: Spacious and very clean room, convenient hotel in the center of Como, their reserved parking is also very convenient for €20. Abundant breakfast, friendly staff. Nothing negative to say about this hotel, I had a great time! I stayed in January 2026.

10/03/2026: Obviously, given the name, it's full of sweets, but not only that: they also have colored pasta and various products for events, such as confirmations and first communion, as well as party favors. They also stock frozen and pickled products. The staff is polite and professional. Prices are above average.

20/05/2026: Omg. The Braised Beef with Polenta was the highlight of my experience in Como. The meaty & rich sauce was by far the best I've tried in Italy thus far, and worked so well with the beef! I've developed a new addiction. The view of Lake Como from above is also absolutely stunning and therapeutic for my mind. More importantly, the service of this restaurant is excellent! I'd highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Como; it's a no-brainer and I'll be back here again!

16/05/2026: The view is truly beautiful, and that is probably the main reason people come here. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not match the scenery. The food was very average, nothing special. What disappointed us most was the attitude at the entrance. As soon as we arrived, the woman at the cashier handed us the menu and insisted that we had to choose right there before sitting down. I explained that my foot was hurting and politely asked if I could sit and choose from the menu, but she answered “no” with a very strict, almost schoolteacher-like attitude. It felt far from welcoming or kind. It was raining heavily that day; otherwise, we definitely would not have stayed. Beautiful view, but the food and service need serious improvement.

30/04/2026: Good quality food, really friendly staff, very nice atmosphere. I live 20 km away, but I go often when I'm in Como. Recommended.

29/10/2025: On the lakeside, with a superb view. Very large dining room with numerous tables. Even though we had already decided on our menu in advance, the first course arrived after two hours, so some of us skipped the second course. That said, the food was good and the service excellent, with the waiters being truly friendly and helpful.

27/10/2025: Good food and a beautiful location overlooking the lake, but the service could definitely be improved. In our case, lunch turned into an interminable wait: appetizers arrived after an hour, first course after two, and second course almost three hours after our arrival. No explanation, just a vague sense of disorganization. Medium-high prices for an experience that felt more like a never-ending wedding reception than a restaurant meal. It's a shame, because the place really has potential.

18/12/2025: Go for the pasta it is good, pizza is decent not what we expected from our first place in Italy. Service and atmosphere was ok seems a bit touristy. For us it was just ok, oh and they charge 7 Euros for some bread it’s a shame…

It's a shame they bring you the menu in Swiss francs, but then at the cashier the owner changes the amount and charges you in euros, applying her own price and rounding it up... She says she can't charge you in francs, but they don't bring the menu in euros. Not very fair. It's a shame I would have left a tip for the waiter.

15/05/2026: We went to McDonald's in Appiano yesterday around 7:00 PM, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The restaurant was visibly dirty, both in the dining room and in the bathrooms (the men's room was in terrible condition). We ordered three menus, and everything arrived cold. We returned fries and sandwiches from one menu, but the staff didn't even apologize, displaying a lackadaisical attitude. Furthermore, three kiosks were blocked by a printer error, creating further confusion. I understand the crowds and the promotions, but this is precisely why we need to be more organized. Unfortunately, hygiene comes first for us, and we won't be returning.
