12/03/2026: I went in and ordered a cappuccino. I asked the guy serving what croissants he had, and he suggested I get up and see what was available. I got up and ordered a pistachio croissant. I waited over 20 minutes, watching other people's tables being served and cleaned, even though there weren't many people, while my table wasn't being cleaned. One of the guys looked at me and said, "I'm coming," but he never showed up. I wonder why they didn't clean my table and why they didn't serve me, given that people who arrived after me had their tables cleaned and took their orders. It makes me think a lot. I got up from my table and simply thanked them for the bad service... or for the discrimination.

03/01/2026: The pizza with stracchino was tops. The others were very touristy but good. For dessert, we had the nuvola, which we haven't tried yet, but it looks promising. I didn't give it a 5 because, having immediately tried the one with stracchino, my expectations were high.

27/04/2026: A beautiful location for sampling traditional local dishes with a panoramic view of the mountains and the lake below. You can also reach it by car, despite the difficult traffic conditions, but you'll need to arrive well in advance to park inside. Other parking spaces are located 200-300 meters below. Reservations are recommended on holidays. Prices are slightly above average, but worth it. You can also taste products made on-site, such as honey and cheeses. Honey is for sale, but other products are not.

08/04/2026: Easter Monday, stopping by for an aperitif. The very friendly staff offered a cheese and cured meat platter (excellent). The cheeses were served with their own honey. We purchased two jars of chestnut honey at a great price. Thank you.

25/05/2026: It was a nice, small cafe where we had to sit opposite the private boats. I ordered an iced macchiato, which was okay, and a chocolate croissant, which was delicious, honestly.

24/05/2026: I've known the place since 2015 (I worked in Navigation and occasionally had breakfast there), but this morning a friend took me there for an aperitivo after at least seven years...as Verdone would say, "MAACELLO!" The super lazy waitress forgot to bring us two more glasses of prosecco, yay!

14/05/2026: I was delighted to eat a very good pizza, melt-in-the-mouth and crispy at the same time. Even the crust is completely eatable, retaining its crispiness and not becoming straw-yellow like many takeout pizzas. The toppings were also good. I recommend it!

19/04/2026: Excellent lunch at this restaurant in the countryside on the edge of the nature reserve at Sorico, with beautiful mountain views all around. All dishes were sensitively prepared, with refinement real attention to flavours. The standout of the day was a seafood linguine, which would have been very tasty even without no extra ingredient, given the intensity of the sauce/bisque, but with the prawns and the amberjack tartare and the citrusy aroma, it became sublime. A pistachio-stuffed calamaro, a whitefish (lavarello) , and a frittura of freshwater fish with vegetable tempura were also ravishing. Only the desert was not so stunning, but still good. The interior is nicely appointed, with a warm and slightly retro atmosphere, the large windows affording a good view of the beautiful natural scenery. Service was so young and so kind. Prices offer truly significant value at this level of quality.

04/04/2026: At Beccaccino, I found a rice dish with perch that was almost "memorable" 😍🐟 Truly the kind that makes you think about moving to Lake Como just to eat it more often. A small note about the raw fish: it was good, but it didn't make me say "wow" like the rest. Nothing tragic, eh? Let's just say the rice stole the show 😄 Top service, with a very kind waitress who deserves applause 👏 Overall, a super pleasant experience... and yes, I would go back (even if only for that rice 😉)

06/05/2026: The best brioche I've ever eaten!

20/04/2026: I thought I was having a good breakfast, but it wasn't. I saw a well-leavened brioche and asked what was inside: a small bag with chocolate chips. Not a trace of chocolate chips, just melted chocolate in one spot of the tasteless brioche that stuck to my stomach. So I ate a plain dough and a bit of chocolate at the end. I've been to this bakery before, and every time something doesn't quite work. They used to ask what kind of sugar you wanted and bring it with a count. If you take something outside, you have to pay immediately. Maybe they're afraid someone won't pay, but that's not good service. The welcome isn't great.
