23/08/2024: what can I say? we had never been there and we were already very impressed by the location, well looked after, those who took our orders and served us were very friendly, the sushi was very good, not too big like in another nearby restaurant where I risked choking myself several times , we will definitely be back

23/06/2024: Let me start by saying that I wanted to refrain from sharing my terrible experience at this restaurant, but since I was asked, here it is. It was a Saturday evening, I was with my girlfriend. We arrived at the empty place just before 10pm and asked if it was still possible to eat. We were told we could only place one order as they were closing the kitchen. We ordered and they started bringing our food. During our stay, we had the entire staff breathing down our necks. The portions were larger than average and with more rice. We then advanced a roll and were made to pay à la carte (I don't remember exactly how much, but definitely too much). You already make me make just one order, you give me more rice than expected and then you have the nerve to even make me pay for half a roll? Obviously the roll was not the main problem but rather the hostile climate. Undoubtedly the worst sushi restaurant I have ever visited.

10/08/2024: 4 stelle meritate! Non è la prima volta che ci fermiamo a pranzare in questo agriturismo, ma è la prima volta che mi sento di fare i complimenti ai ragazzi che lo gestiscono. Sono cresciuti in maniera esponenziale negli anni e hanno raggiunto un livello davvero notevole. Abbiamo ordinato il tagliere misto, con formaggi e salumi proprio buoni. Ottima la marmellata di zucchine! Poi bis di primi: pizzoccheri e polenta uncia, ottimi e abbondanti. Anche il brasato con la polenta non ha affatto deluso. Insomma tutto speciale e delizioso, torneremo ad assaggiare altri piatti. Complimenti a tutti, siete davvero in gamba!😉

06/08/2024: Perfect for drinking a good beer in the shade. Beautiful terrace with views, quality service and very friendly staff. 10€ for 1L of cold beer! The spritz and the Hugo spritz were very good too.

30/08/2024: Food is OK, not less, but not more either. Service was super friendly and committed. All in all: You can do it once, but it's certainly not for constant visits

29/08/2024: Standard... Average quality, menu now like many others of the usual chains, high prices in relation to the quality. A note: sandwiches, burritos and the like often arrive barely warm with the cheese not melted

24/03/2024: Dieses Restaurant wurde uns für das Abendessen empfohlen. Es ist nicht sehr gross, aber gemütlich (unbedingt reservieren). Das Servicepersonal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Unaufgeregt aber speditiv wird man bedient. Die Speisen waren einfach nur köstlich. Ob Antipasti, Minestrone oder etwas anderes - einfach nur köstlich. So stellt man sich Italien vor.

10/08/2024: Vor Ort begrüßten uns zur mittäglichen „Rush-Hour“ mehrere freundliche Bedienungen. Die Speisen wurde sehr zügig zubereitet und allem voran war es wirklich sehr, sehr lecker.

21/04/2024: Visited OkPizza late night as were looking for some food at Sangino. Nice and clean place, polite stuff understanding English. Took Prosutto Cotto pizza and canolli siciliani. Pizza was tasty - tried it hot and next morning) Canolli were delicious.

03/07/2024: Breakfast with my wife ruined by flies on the brioches, I wonder how we can't protect the food with mesh protections, a sticky, undisinfected payment card that passes from customer to customer. Welcome viruses and bacteria. Good product but eaten with the thought of flies. Wake up, you risk closure for these frivolities...

12/04/2024: Really big selection of pastries and cakes and chocolates. Yummy coffee and friendly staff, the coffee could have been bigger though

14/05/2024: AVOID - AVOID - AVOID The waiters reply to the question why he served us a bread basked with a half eaten pizza slice in it: -Is that a problem for you? We ordered a bottle of white wine, wich was followed by a napkin drowned in red wine.. We are happy to be out of the place and find us self praying not to wake up at the hospital.

01/05/2024: This restaurant is always the first we head for when we arrive in Menaggio. The food is fantastic and the service too. It gets very busy, but that's a sign that they are doing something right. My wife had the sliced grilled beef with parmesan and rocket salad. It was delicious. The steak was perfectly seasoned and the combination of steak, parmesan and rocket worked beautifully. I had the cotoletta - fried breaded veal. Again it was delicious, perfectly cooked and the portion was very big. We did manage to fit in a pudding of homemade Rhum baba which, again, was fantastic. I can't fault this restaurant. The wine list is extensive, surroundings warm and atmospheric. If you're looking for a real Italian family restaurant this is it. Highly recommended.

20/08/2024: We went for lunch, after leaving we realized we had left our hats behind, went back just 4 minutes later and staff were still clearing the table, told us they did not see our hats, one was a large wide brimmed and the other a cap, absolutely impossible that they did not see them. This is either theft or mischief, either way it is totally unacceptable

19/08/2024: Nice place, menu not too varied but quality dishes. I tried grandma's spaghetti and was very satisfied. Staff on point, elegant and smart. Well done

23/07/2024: Really rude waiters and bartenders I stood at the counter for 10 minutes trying to order, saying "excuse me" every now and then to make myself noticed and the bartender simply looked at me and my friend and immediately looked away as if we were invisible, and then in the end took an order from other guys who arrived a few seconds ago and ours didn't, at that point I took it and left because it's not possible and to make matters worse a second barmaid passed by and stepped on my foot as she passed without even turning to apologize the place is always dirty

09/07/2024: Nice and helpful guys! Excellent bar, to spend all moments of the day in company. Possibility of having aperitifs on the terrace under a spectacular wisteria or staying inside with its private rooms.
