28/02/2026: A super-nice place in the heart of Erba. Upstairs, there are about ten very cute tables, with a slightly retro vibe. We stopped for brunch on Saturday morning and were absolutely delighted! Super fluffy pancakes, tasty toast, and the "American" breakfast was delicious! The staff are all incredibly kind and ready to accommodate every request.
The only thing I'd suggest is a more generous amount of freshly squeezed juice, which is also delicious.
We'll definitely be back for more brunches, but also for a quick breakfast; the brioches look just as inviting.
Highly recommended!

I tried to order an espresso here but I was refused service bc I had a USA scarf on for the Olympics and then they played the song “hit the road jack” as I was leaving. I’m a bleeding heart liberal, gay guy that would never vote for Trump but they made assumptions and I’ve never felt so upset. What a joke

The sign said 1.30, but since we sat down (bringing our own coffee to the table),
2.20 a coffee for the service that wasn't there...

20/11/2025: Raggio di Sole is without a doubt the pizzeria with the best pizza in the area! We're thrilled every time: the ingredients are incredibly fresh, the dough is light, and the flavor is simply irresistible. The staff is fantastic, friendly, and always smiling—they truly make our day better. The name "Raggio di Sole" describes this place perfectly, because it brightens our day with positivity and delicious food.
We also love their business lunches, and the evening menu is always surprisingly good. Kudos to the entire staff: it's a pleasure to come back every time, every week!
18/11/2025: This place near "La Pinetina" was my first time there for pizza.
Lots of unusual pizza flavors, in addition to the classic ones.
The one I had was very good (M4).
Impeccable service.

02/01/2026: Looking at the photos of the pizzas, I'm sure they make excellent pizza, but let's just say that setting up a restaurant for New Year's Eve dinner is perhaps a bit risky.
The food was terrible, starting with the appetizer of hard fried gnocco, continuing with the WHITE lasagna tart—after removing the top layer, there was only pasta without a hint of ragù—and finally, the main courses, which arrived at 1:00, never arrived, with cotechino and lentils.
The only decent thing was the dessert, perhaps because they didn't make it.
In short, never again! €80 wasted!

13/12/2025: The only truly good thing is the walnut cake. The tagliatelle with mushrooms are embarrassing, the duck breast is good but overcooked, the wild boar is tough, and the roulades are so-so. The service is okay. They're friendly.
03/12/2025: It's a nice refuge but nothing special. I had pasta that looked like buckwheat orecchiette but was tough and topped with tasteless cheese. The wild boar main course, however, was excellent. I wouldn't go back!

22/03/2026: Nothing to say outside, very nice for children, animals, etc.
The kitchen is disorganized and the owner is rude, to whom we can't even point out that with two small children, we sat down at 12:30 and at 2:30 we had eaten our first course after waiting over an hour for the appetizer. No choice on the menu, appetizer and first course for 5 people plus 2 small children, we spent 126 euros... the ATM obviously didn't work... the receipt was handwritten... terrible experience.
Recommended to the Guardia di Finanza.
15/03/2026: A pleasant discovery, with excellent and plentiful food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. The outside area is full of animals, some of which are unusual.

27/02/2026: Discovered by chance on the way back from Chiasso. A simple trattoria, run by a friendly, welcoming, and very kind couple. The dishes are simple, rustic, homemade, tasty, and plentiful. Reasonable prices, truly excellent desserts, the tiramisu and Sicilian cannoli superb.
