06/09/2025: The pizzas were excellent, and the staff was very warm and friendly. It's the perfect place for a takeaway pizza and then eat it right by the lake.

17/08/2025: I was completely satisfied. The piadina with falafel from the wood-fired oven was incredibly delicious, the fries were delicious, and the onion rings were a real treat. Anyone in the area should definitely treat themselves to this meal – highly recommended!

25/10/2025: Rude, impolite service. I sit down after a 2.5-hour walk, famished. I order some cured meats, average, and a plate of fettuccine with mushrooms; the dish is bland, with mushrooms that tasted like they were boiled. I express my disappointment, even though I ate the whole thing because I was so hungry, and am told that "others don't complain." This response, worthy only of the ignorant, doesn't even deserve a response, let alone a review. There are plenty of refuges; go elsewhere.

05/10/2025: It's a contradiction that a dive bar in the middle of the woods doesn't allow dogs; they obviously only like animals on their plates. I think they can just tear it down.

26/08/2025: I ate at the Albiro restaurant in Bellagio and was very impressed overall. The menu (five courses) was outstanding, the quality of the food absolutely top-notch. I would particularly like to highlight the service: attentive, warm, and professional. The wine pairing by the sommelier was an experience in itself – something you don't get every day. Why "only" four stars? We enjoyed two bottles of wine during the meal, and at the end I asked if I could get a bottle to take away at a better price. I knew in advance that the same wine costs around €30 in stores. However, in the restaurant, it would cost the same price to take away as it would have if served at the table – namely €115. This disappointed me, because restaurants usually give a fairer price for takeaway, since there's no service included. Unfortunately, this felt inflexible and a bit rude. All in all, it was still a great evening with fantastic food and service – I just wish they had been more accommodating with the wine policy.

11/10/2025: A local friend brought us to this hidden gem. Very intimate setting. I believe its a family business run in their family home. Had dinner next to the fireplace. Food was amazing. Definitely will make an effort to come back for more.

The waitress was very kind and replaced me, but the smell was still evident. I hope they can correct this problem on the next visit, because it is not normal for Italian brioche to smell so intense. Despite everything, the place remains well-known for its quality desserts and breakfast in Italy. ⸻ 🇬🇧 English ⭐ 1/5 I occasionally visit Pasticceria Vago Fabio, known for its artisan Italian pastries and fresh croissants, but this time the croissants had a very strong yeast smell. The waitress was very kind and replaced them, yet the odor remained noticeable. I hope next time they can fix this, as it's not normal for Italian pastries to have such a strong yeast smell. 29/05/2025: Breakfasts at Vago, especially their homemade brioches, are truly special: when I'm in Como they're always my go-to. The staff is also kind and attentive and the quality of the service and the products they offer is generally really high and excellent. 10/10

26/09/2025: We had reserved a table for four outside, but the lady who welcomed us arrogantly and rudely told me, "No, inside only," simply because another, larger group had reserved the outside tables after us. This was actually a minor issue, because once inside, we were treated like dirt, most likely because we were foreigners. The food was generally awful: appetizers full of oil, first courses that were very hard to digest, and desserts that were bland (perhaps the only thing that stood out was the tiramisu). The final surprise: €40 per person, without wine, just water and coffee. Note that the bill was calculated by hand after a wait of about 10 minutes. I highly recommend it, especially given the rudeness of the staff!!!
