San Marco In Arosio

Phenomenal restaurant in Arosio! Three of us went there for dinner on Saturday evening and had a wonderful time. Easy to get to and with ample parking, we were quickly seated at a table, and the waiters were prompt and attentive. The atmosphere is charming and well-maintained, and the lighting is perfect. The menu features seasonal, local, and other dishes: the portions are generous and beautifully presented, worthy of a classic restaurant. I recommend it to everyone for dining, conversation, and a lovely evening! We'll definitely be back.

If you're looking for dishes that are not only delicious and sophisticated but also visually pleasing—the portions are both beautiful and satisfying—you've come to the right place. The wine selection is excellent, as is the variety of desserts. Special mention should also be made of the highly efficient takeout service: you can order any specialty on the menu, even desserts. You can reserve by phone or in person, and you'll be served and satisfied. Excellent value for money. It's a place I recommend trying if you've never been before; you'll definitely be back.

Good food, but without air conditioning you die, there are two split units from the 1900s...

I'm traveling for work (a professional athlete), and a local friend recommended this restaurant: a lovely place, attentive and courteous staff. A delicious complimentary focaccia arrives immediately. Then fantastic strozzapreti with shrimp, cherry tomatoes, and siliconia. A generous dish that made me forgo the main course (some seasonal, off-menu, very interesting) in favor of dessert... Pastiera (homemade) with all the aromas and flavors... I would have preferred a slightly softer filling, so the cream would have been superfluous (and indeed, it's not part of Neapolitan tradition), but it passed with flying colors. And to finish, a coffee, truly good.

I visited San Marco restaurant for lunch and ordered a salad and sea bass. Unfortunately, this time the fish dish was rather mediocre. I know San Marco can do better, as I've had much tastier dishes there in the past. I hope this was just an isolated incident and that next time the dining experience will be better!

Excellent welcome, very clean and tidy place. Fast service, well-prepared and plentiful dishes. Excellent selection of desserts, very tasty.

Fantastic. We've been going there often now, and what can I say? Very good food, plentiful, just one dish and you're fine. We've tried risottos, various pasta dishes, fish main courses...all good. Prices are fair, maybe even low. I can't find any negatives. The coffee is also good...the desserts are amazing. Tiramisu just like mom's...you have to go there. Obviously, if you're looking for a trendy location and chic food...this is the wrong place. This is a dive into the '90s...and honestly, I don't see anything wrong with that. You come in, you're welcomed, and you're served properly. I'd say pampered. You're not in a rush, you sit down and eat, and if you want to stay at the table for an hour and a half after you've finished, no one will rush you. For me, it's a fantastic place, with excellent service. The waiters are great. Compliments. I have no negatives. I was there today for lunch...I hope to return soon. For me, it's a sensational place, and I hope it stays that way until I die.

A positive experience for a seafood lunch with a set menu (a birthday treat). We'll definitely try the a la carte menu again.
