One star for the atmosphere only because it was so hot it was almost impossible to breathe. We asked for the air conditioning to be turned on, but it was scorching hot. The food was excellent, although the prices were quite high compared to many other restaurants in the area, with identical food quality. The staff took our plate away before we'd even finished our meal.

The food was average for a business lunch; the service was poor, with a special mention for the lady serving, who was the only one who cared about her customers. The atmosphere was nice, although the air conditioning wasn't working. It was a shame, because I had high expectations for this restaurant.

It's not a very large place, so it's always a good idea to book, even for lunch, as it's always very busy. The cuisine is typical of Bergamo, and from appetizers to main courses, I can say the selection isn't extensive, but the quality is good in my opinion; I've always been very satisfied. The staff is large, fast, and friendly. Prices are absolutely fair and in line with the quality. There's parking 10 meters from the restaurant. Highly recommended. Review update after a couple of years: I confirm everything from the previous review except for two things. The outdoor space has been enlarged, improved, and beautified. The second is that the prices, in my opinion, are above average for a trattoria. €15 for a bowl of pizzoccheri (a small portion in my opinion) and €8 for a small glass of tiramisu (revisited and beautifully presented, but small). Otherwise, the service and staff are impeccable.

The dishes are traditional Bergamo dishes, but the ingredients and workmanship are top-notch. I recommend visiting in spring/summer for the covered outdoor garden. The quality/price ratio is excellent.
