26/08/2024: Enjoyable and decelerating stay at this cute family owned Osteria near Olginate! The food was absolutely excellent, the staff super welcoming and the rooms very authentic, clean and nicely decorated. Day trips to Lecco; other scenic villages and the lakes in the area are very easy to make with a car. Can definitely recommend staying a night or two!

04/08/2024: Osteria Marascia, Calolziocorte (Santa Maria del Lavello) Una foresteria della fine del 1400, nel 1700 trasformata in cascina e ai giorni nostri un caratteristico ristorante con qualche tavolo in un giardino all'aperto e che continua all'interno. Cortesia, disponibilita' qualche novita' quotidianamente esce dalla cucina non presente in carta. Piatti eseguiti con tecnica, senza eccellere in evoluzioni artistiche. Pane vario e sfizioso a parte i grissini che richiedono un morso troppo tenace. Polipo spadellato su un soffice pure un buon inizio tenero e croccante. Tortelli di magro ben realizzati prodotto fresco. Paccheri con gamberi zucchine e un pizzico di piccante gustosi. Semifreddo torroncino con crema per concludere.

24/07/2024: Cheap, delicious and local panini!! With such a friendly atmosphere and service. The woman that served us made us feel welcome.

26/08/2024: Beautiful hotel with a unique pool and roof terrace. The pool was very nice and very comfortable. Everything in the hotel is very modern and clean, we felt very comfortable. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. You have a very nice view from the roof terrace. The attached restaurant is also good. The breakfast was also okay, you order from a menu with not much choice, but enough. The only thing that wasn't great was that our room was very, very small and there was hardly any space. All in all, it was definitely worth it and it's great in terms of price-performance ratio! Happy to come back!

23/08/2024: We've been coming here since 2006 and have never been disappointed. Always in a good mood, nice reception, good service. The food is always very good. I can really only recommend the place. Many thanks also to the boss and the entire team.

13/08/2024: We went for lunch for a birthday, everything was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, very attentive to food intolerances and allergies. The Panna cotta is absolutely worth trying, it has nothing to do with the ones we have eaten so far. I recommend booking in advance to avoid long waits, especially on weekends. It is also possible to buy preserves and typical local products.

05/08/2024: Came here based on a Reddit recommendation and I’m glad I did. This is an excellent, no-frills Italian restaurant. The owner was so down to earth and welcoming. We really enjoyed our dinner here. The service was too notch. The restaurant is a little away from the hustle and bustle so the prices are extremely fair and reasonable. The food was a 4/5 but the overall experience brings it up to a 5. The pizza was simple yet delicious and the seafood risotto had great flavor. I definitely recommend coming here for a more authentic, less touristy restaurant experience.

I'm writing this review for two reasons: 1) the food was 1/3 fantastic, 1/3 very good, 1/3 not good, or very room for improvement. If you would like more detailed information about my review - please contact me. 2) the main reason for my review is YOU! I drove 650km by car that day to eat at your place. I was at your place at 11:45 a.m., the gate to the parking lot was open, I parked and waited until it was 12:30 p.m. At 12:00 a man came (as it turned out later: YOU!!) and said several times: “I have to clean here, this my job, please go”!!!!!!! I didn't want to argue with the naughty gardener... YOU have me and my wife: - as a booked guest who just waited quietly KICKED OUT!! - stupidly lied - and the lowest level of hospitality undercut. That would be: A guest Waiting quietly in the midday sun, a place and offer a glass of water! You are a decorated chef and I respect you for that. When it comes to manners and hospitality, you should definitely learn a few things. 29/08/2024: My wife and I made a reservation for dinner at this beautiful restaurant on the outskirts of the city of Locri. We were immediately struck by the courtesy and attention that the staff paid to us (we had specified that we were vegan and vegetarian), but the best was yet to come. Spectacular strips of pinsa and potato croquette, pinsa with high-level ingredients and as a final treat a small sweet made of dark chocolate (produced directly by them). Many ingredients are produced directly by them, while the flour is meticulously chosen and mixed in a certain way. Very satisfied! We will definitely come back to visit you!

08/08/2024: Went with my wife for lunch. Everything was perfect. We each took a seafood first course and shared 'a fried boat' as a second course. Thank you very much to the owner for this experience. We'll be back 😀
