18/08/2025: A truly quaint trattoria, perfectly located with a spectacular view of the lake: the view alone is worth a visit! The food is excellent, featuring high-quality local cured meats and dishes that showcase traditional flavors. I highly recommend the tagliatelle with lake ragù, a simple yet truly surprising dish. The restaurant is small and welcoming, always very busy: for this reason, it's important to book in advance. Excellent quality, fair prices, and an authentic atmosphere make this trattoria a must-visit: a genuine place where you can feel at home and enjoy traditional specialties in a unique setting.

10/10/2025: From our first meeting, we knew that Il Fondaco Dei Mercanti would be the perfect location for our fairytale wedding!!! Our expectations were fully met: despite the adverse weather, Matteo, Barbara, Franci, and the entire Fondaco staff knew how to optimize the space and timing!! A fabulous menu, quality dishes, enthusiastic guests, a dream ceremony with last-minute celebrant Matteo (fantastic!!)… the day flew by with a thousand emotions and a beautiful atmosphere!!!! SUPERB!!!

05/09/2025: We stopped by by chance to satisfy a sudden cannoli craving while strolling through Monza, and we decided we absolutely had to return! The place is small, but there are tables and chairs both outside and in the square, where we sat down to enjoy a cannoli and two Sicilian granitas. We found them truly delicious and similar to those found in Sicily. The best thing about the whole experience, however, was the service. The woman was incredibly kind, always smiling, and recommended flavor combinations for the granitas when we weren't sure (with no extra charge, you can get both cream and multiple flavors in one granita!), and she gladly gave us a free taste of the black mulberry granita (a very generous sample, as pictured). This courtesy is truly rare, especially in this area, and it made us feel welcome and welcomed.

16/09/2025: We were in Griante for a couple of days and noticed this lovely little restaurant, lots of locals having their morning coffees and local honest food on offer. We ended up eating there on both nights.. The pasta dishes were absolutely delicious and authentic, the saffron and prawn spaghetti was truly outstanding. The salad and cake were just as tasty. On the last night, I decided to have pizza, the bufalina. At first sight, I was a bit disappointed. No trendy cornicione, not even a bit of dry oregano... The pizza just had tomato sauce and the mozzarella had been put on after it came out of the oven... Let me tell you, that was one of the best pizzas I have ever had ( I am Italian, I have had quite a few...). It was light and fresh, both the tomato and mozzarella flavour uncomplicated by any herbs, spices or fancy cheese.. It was sublime, I could have eaten two! In the morning we had coffee by the lake which was so pleasant. The service was also incredibly friendly, we were made to feel very welcome and the waitresses remembered our preferred drinks etc. I wish I could remember their names, but I would like to thank them again for making our dinners so special

14/09/2025: Superb welcome from the staff. Seated on the terrace overlooking Lake Como and the fireworks on the other side of the lake. A very pleasant time spent with family. Generous and very tasty dishes and desserts.

15/09/2025: A wonderful discovery! The atmosphere is meticulously maintained. The staff is attentive and very helpful, and the service is fast. Excellent cuisine, with a select menu of traditional dishes revisited with just the right amount of flair and without overdoing it. A place you won't forget and definitely want to try. A place you'll want to return to and recommend!

09/09/2025: We went to this restaurant for my partner's birthday, and I must say the experience was truly special. I had requested a table with a beautiful view, and my request was met with great care: the location was perfect and made the evening even more romantic. The best surprise was when, without us asking, they brought us a cake with a candle and the words "Happy Birthday" written on it: a simple yet thoughtful gesture that I greatly appreciated. The service was impeccable, especially the waiter who looked after us throughout the dinner: kind, helpful, and always attentive, a truly fabulous person who made the evening even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

08/09/2025: Not so impressed by the food. There are some things which are tasty - like the octopus and beef. But things like pasta (we ordered 4 different types) are tasteless. It’s a shame in Italy where most of the restaurants prepare very delicious pasta here is just excellent presentation and nothing special as flavour. Desserts are again - well presented and nothing special as taste. The wine is perfect! The service is perfect. The men waiters are immaculate!

21/09/2025: Super friendly staff and excellent pizza! The house wine and the cheesecake for dessert are highly recommended; they're very tasty! The creme brûlée was okay. We would love to come back here.

19/09/2025: Paolo and his team are great! The food is delicious on a reasonable cost. Ask them for recommendations - the medium rare beef stake and pasta with sardines are for a Michelin star with a glass of good wine!

05/10/2025: We came to Ponte S. Pietro to dine here, and it was worth every penny, every second we spent. Locally sourced ingredients were cooked to perfection. Every taste was delicate and simply fun to eat. We specifically loved the lobster (amazing flavor, a perfect match with the tomato reduction and sun-dried tomato) and deer carpaccio (with beautifully cooked turnip, apple mousse, and black truffle). All the staff, including Maurizio, were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. All the wines he suggested were spot-on. I would love to come back again for the fish menu. It was a wonderful place, full of dining pleasure, and worth the trip. I'd love to come again.

15/07/2025: What can I say? Our expectations were exceeded! Since my sweetheart has a total gluten intolerance (severe celiac disease), she was surprised with gluten-free pizza (all for a €3 surcharge), and I was treated to a very, very good meal. I was shocked at how good the value for money was! 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 desserts, and various drinks all came to €84! Thank you again! We'll be back tomorrow!

14/09/2025: I've been going there for years now, it's one of my all-time favorite places, and I take all my friends there. The food is amazing, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended.
