We discovered this restaurant by chance just outside Pavia, with its excellent cuisine and warm, friendly welcome! Highly recommended for families and couples looking for a unique day or evening. I must mention the staff: a very sweet gentleman welcomed us, making us feel at home with his subtle and courteous wit, but above all with his passion and expertise in the field. He explained each dish on the menu and helped us make our choices, which was truly challenging given the variety of tempting dishes the restaurant offers. The gentleman was incredibly kind and gracious, as was his son, Luca, courteous and professional, sharing his father's passion. Added to these are the kitchen staff, whom we unfortunately didn't get to speak to, but they definitely spoke to us through their wonderful, delicious dishes. Excellent restaurant, highly recommended. Don't forget the desserts, another highlight of the place.

We visited this restaurant for an intimate family graduation celebration, and it was a wonderful surprise. Starting with the staff, whose rare kindness and friendliness made us feel immediately at ease. The dishes are exquisite: you can clearly taste the quality of the ingredients, the care taken in preparation, and the authentic flavor of homemade food. Each course speaks of the passion and love this family has cultivated for years. The location is equally enchanting: the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, like being guests in their home, sharing a Sunday with family. Plus, the views from the dining room make the experience even more special. A sincere thank you for your kindness, hospitality, and excellent cuisine. We will definitely be back!

There's nothing more to say, places like this aren't available anymore, unfortunately. Real, authentic, no-frills dining. So much passion. Try it to believe it. A regular stop for us in Oltrepò.

High-class yet with an almost family-like atmosphere. The food is superb, truly top-notch and meticulously crafted. The owners are adorable, with an uncommon class and attitude. I don't go often, but I return every chance I get; it's truly worth it. And their Tarte Tatin... just the smell makes me emotional ❤️

Easter Monday with a group of friends at this place where courtesy reigns supreme. The menu is simple but everything is well executed. And the surrounding view is truly enchanting.

28/07/2026: We had a family lunch at Granai, a fairytale location with very kind and helpful owners and excellent dishes made with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. We'll definitely be back, especially for a very special event next year!
17/07/2026: We got married at Granai Certosa on June 20th, and everything was perfect. The venue has a beautiful rustic style, but with great attention to detail. Elena, Sabina, and Alessandra were fantastic: they accommodated every request we had, saying yes to everything. We wanted a quick and lively dinner, and they were excellent at scheduling the event with precision and attentiveness. The staff provided excellent support from the first contact and even the day before with the decorations. During the aperitif, they were so attentive, constantly bringing us small plates to make sure we had something to eat. We received compliments from all our guests on the venue, the quality of the food, and the organization itself (no frills and no downtime). The ceremony under the trees and the cake cutting at sunset were incredibly intimate and romantic moments. We had so much fun dancing in the stables room and greatly appreciated the gift they left for us the next day. Their recommendations for suppliers were also excellent, especially the florist, who was truly excellent! Highly recommended if you're looking for a special, sincere place with a reliable team!

18/07/2026: I've known the owner and the place for 50 years. I must say he's always been competent and honest. The food was good then, and it's still good now. Try it and believe it!
28/06/2026: We had lunch here on Saturday to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and we couldn't have asked for anything better: excellent, plentiful food, kind, and courteous service! It will remain a wonderful memory! Thank you!
