13/10/2025: The best seafood restaurant in all of Genoa! We've been regulars for years, and we've always found the service and cuisine to be excellent: their themed evenings are unmissable. Kudos to the chef and staff, especially for the quality of the ingredients and the creation of dishes that are never boring, but rather surprising. Superb!

In the small shop with excellent dairy products, you can buy cheeses (primarily "San Ste" of various ages), yogurt, butter, ricotta, and the new kefir (I always stock up on it thanks to the insulated bag available in the shop). A BIG SURPRISE: the freshly made yogurt ice cream... spectacular! Every time I'm in the area, I can't get enough. A special thanks to all the staff at the dairy.

13/10/2025: I just returned home after spending a week in Santa Margherita Ligure. Six of seven days (they're closed on Sundays) this is were I got my breakfast. The best focaccia I've ever have tasted, kind service and they open early. Thanks!

07/10/2025: Located near the port area, coming from the center, go past the castle, stay on the same side, enter one of the narrow streets, and you'll find yourself before this treasure trove of goodness and authenticity. I confess, it's the first time pizzas and focaccias haven't made me thirsty enough to drink a liter of water as soon as I digest them. Good to know, then. It will be my go-to place in beautiful Santa Margherita Ligure. But not just focaccias, pizzas, and bread, but also sweets, which I'll definitely buy. Friendly service, too. See you soon.

29/10/2025: Pure authenticity! If you're looking for an unfiltered, unpretentious dining experience, you've come to the right place. The service is spartan and fast, very trattoria-like, but the food is a true delight, and the prices are incredibly low. You'll leave feeling full, happy, and with your wallet safe. A must-see for lovers of tradition!

12/11/2025: A restaurant right in the center of Genoa. The appetizer (tramezzino) was good, and the main course (buns) was excellent. Excellent service, very friendly. If I were to nitpick, the atmosphere was a bit cold upon arrival (the music helped 😃). If I may... Constructive criticism for Cannavacciuolo 😗... the tramezzino is more like a big biscuit... as soon as you put it in your mouth it breaks, making it difficult to eat (did I say that because I'm watching all the episodes of Kitchen Nightmares??). All in all, this place definitely deserves a shout-out because they give us vegetarians the opportunity to choose from a full menu just for us! Keep up the good work!

22/11/2025: My opinion is biased. I go there often with the Rotary Club... I feel at home. The Carbone family, Layla, and the staff are simply perfect. Excellent cheese focaccia. The pesto is always excellent. Delicious salmon. Attention to detail is paid to the dishes. The restaurant offers very high-quality service, but the prices are very fair.

21/09/2025: A lovely place recommended by friends. The food was excellent and there was a wide selection of wines. The staff were very friendly, and Fabrizio, the chef and sommelier, was fantastic! I'll be back. The quality/price ratio was excellent.

26/08/2025: The best pasta we've tried in Italy. They make it by hand and use sauces that take 5 hours to cook, and they're spectacular. The service is a 10. We wanted to try several types of pasta, and they divided all the dishes into portions so my family could try them. The price is incredible, 100% recommended!

08/10/2025: We had dinner at Clandestine last night. Macda “Mac” served us in the private room, near the bagno. That was THE best culinary experience we’ve had in Italy our entire trip (Lake Como, Milan, mRome, Florence, Pisa, Sienna, San Gimignano, and Cinque Terra). Topped off with the most unique dessert I’ve had in Italy: pesche e mango 🥭!

07/11/2025: It's been a few years since I've been to this restaurant and I must say that the food is always good. The handmade pansoti with walnut sauce are excellent. The busyate with pesto, potatoes and green beans are excellent. For the second course we had cheese focaccia, pizzata and simple cheese focaccia. The traditional pizzata with salted anchovies, capers and tomato, then dessert, was good. The place is spacious and the tables are well spaced. The staff is friendly and efficient. The place has been open for over 50 years and has been one of the best in Recco since the early years.

05/11/2025: Lunch for three today...beautiful sunny day...we had the focaccia (divine), tagliolini with fish sauce, sea bream in a crust, amberjack tartare with borage powder...very good soft pigato...desserts. They didn't miss a single dish! Fast, professional service...thanks for the excellent meal. I'll be back to savor your cuisine.

27/09/2025: If you’re in to craft beer then this is the place for you! Loads of choices & if you’re unsure on what to order the super friendly staff can give you a recommendation. The APA was super tasty & they also had some good wine options if beer isn’t your thing. They also played some banging tunes!!

26/10/2025: I've been going to this delicious trattoria regularly now, and I bring my friends too, like last night. The quality and friendliness make you feel right at home. The menu features truly excellent and delicious dishes, prepared with high-quality ingredients and with great skill. To top it off, the desserts, made exclusively by them, are truly amazing! I could go there every day!

23/10/2025: Sunday family lunch at this restaurant on the outskirts of Genoa in the Bisagno Valley. Obviously, the inviting fixed-price menus (13 euros) offered on weekdays aren't worth it on Sundays, so we ate à la carte, which are significantly more expensive. There were five of us, and we all had two courses: appetizers, first courses, second courses, and dessert. To drink, we had a bottle of wine on tap and a good amount of water. In the end, we were all satisfied with what we ate and the decent portions. In fact, I thought both the pansotti in walnut sauce and the Fassona steak tartare with stracciatella were good. The only questionable thing was the mandarin sorbet, which was more like a normal ice cream. Service was fairly quick and very courteous. Restrooms were in good order. In the end, we paid around 35 euros each, but I'd say they deserved it.
