Look, the wines are top-notch, Matteo is an "Indiana Jones" of wine research, and the guy who works with him in the dining room is capable of explaining in an almost poetic way the provenance and characteristics of any wine so that tasting becomes almost unnecessary. 01/11/2025: Good food, very unpleasant service. They have two different menus on their website and in person. When you order, they don't try to help you despite the lack of customers. The cashier is very rude and can't answer simple questions and asks questions like "Do you need cutlery?" for a takeout order. Maybe they're waiting for me to eat with my hands, I don't know. And the plastic forks were killer.

21/10/2025: Since we discovered this little place (about a year ago), we've been back at least once a month. We've tried all the tartares, each one better than the last, hand-chopped in front of us topped with that indescribable pesto; and their platters of excellent cured meats and cheeses. We always return with the intention of trying different dishes, but we always end up with Cabannina's magnificent Fiorentina steak because as soon as you see it, it's impossible not to order it. The hospitality and professionalism of the staff and owners is perfect (we love Mr. Mauro!!).

20/10/2025: We went to this restaurant for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service (attentive and professional, but not intrusive). The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with attention to detail and character. We ordered two tartares, two sliced ​​steaks, and two desserts for a total of €78, a truly fair price, especially considering the excellent quality of the products! Congratulations, we'll definitely be back :)

Of course the pizza is tasty but what also makes this place special is the owner who is very sweet and kind with a special character. I will remember the nice experience of sitting with locals and enjoying my pizza while having a big smile.

13/10/2025: I just returned home after spending a week in Santa Margherita Ligure. Six of seven days (they're closed on Sundays) this is were I got my breakfast. The best focaccia I've ever have tasted, kind service and they open early. Thanks!

07/10/2025: Located near the port area, coming from the center, go past the castle, stay on the same side, enter one of the narrow streets, and you'll find yourself before this treasure trove of goodness and authenticity. I confess, it's the first time pizzas and focaccias haven't made me thirsty enough to drink a liter of water as soon as I digest them. Good to know, then. It will be my go-to place in beautiful Santa Margherita Ligure. But not just focaccias, pizzas, and bread, but also sweets, which I'll definitely buy. Friendly service, too. See you soon.
