11/08/2025: During a trip to Genoa to beat the heat, we Googled the best gelato shop in the city, and we ended up here. The gelato was truly delicious, with very unique flavors; I highly recommend the peanut flavor, which I think is amazing. The only downside is that it takes too long to decide which flavors to get, because they all look so good!

10/08/2025: Delicious, traditional ice cream. In addition to the classic flavors, there are several original options, including red wine and red pepper. I especially recommend the unusual caruggino with salted caramel and pistachio icing, all accompanied by very friendly service.

04/08/2025: One of my top five restaurants for the quality of the ingredients used and the family atmosphere. I've been going there for over twenty years and have never had a single failure or misstep. See you next time!

12/08/2025: A really cute little place frequented by locals just below the B&Bs in the hills behind Recco. It's quite far from the center of Recco, so it's best to drive there, although you can also walk about 2.5 km. But it's definitely worth it. The place is vintage but clean and well-kept. The staff is really friendly. They have a decent wine list and a fairly traditional but well-curated and thoughtful menu. They offer both traditional meat and fish dishes. I had the pansoti with walnut sauce and the pork tenderloin with apples. Truly special. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection. If I were to pass through Recco again, I would definitely return.

06/08/2025: Restaurant... more than a tavern/trattoria, even in terms of prices. Interesting wine list... sommelier available. Arrived without recommendations or word of mouth... one of the few places open and available on Monday evenings in August. Good first courses and delicious desserts.

21/08/2025: I basically ate cold avocado bread. For celiacs, there are at least three major problems: - Not recommended for celiacs (by the staff), but they do have gluten-free bread (?!) - Gluten-free bread not even heated in the microwave (it was cold) - Non-existent burger (see photo) The staff is kind and empathetic. There is seating inside, but it's not very comfortable and it's hot.

02/08/2025: A green location, very well-maintained, with a refined and peaceful atmosphere, and friendly and professional staff. The dishes are beautifully presented and very tasty. The idea of offering aperitifs by the pool is also a winning one.

01/08/2025: The traditional ravioli were excellent, as was the catch of the day. The tiramisu parfait was a real treat (as was the complimentary welcome drink). We'll be back to try the meats. Such kindness! We highly recommend this experience!

19/07/2025: The staff is friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Being from Naples, I prefer a different type of dough, but that's just a matter of personal preference, because the quality of the ingredients is there and you can taste it!

20/08/2025: The location isn't modern or cozy, but it's quaint and charming for that reason. The gelato is excellent, made with natural ingredients. If you go in the late afternoon or evening, you're not guaranteed to find your favorite flavors, but I can recommend them all, so it's worth picking up and trying. Excellent value for money.

17/08/2025: I'm from the Veneto region and pay about €2.50 for a gelato flavor, which is on average much worse. The place is very vintage, seemingly from another dimension of space and time. I've only tried the gelato and a granita, and they're interesting. The quality/price ratio is staggering.

16/08/2025: The traditional cuisine is meticulously prepared and well-presented. The Genoese minestrone is superb. A good selection of wines, all of which are top-notch.

09/08/2025: Good morning, last night we had dinner for two: 2 main courses, 1 side dish, 1 dessert, a bottle of water (I think 1 liter), 1 coffee. €40. Did the gentleman make a mistake when calculating the bill? If so, please let me know and I'll come back to get my difference. If not, my question: if we had ordered a full meal, 1st course, 2nd course, side dish, dessert, and coffee, how much would it have been? €50, maybe more, per person? No prices outside the restaurant, no menu delivered to the table, just a mental bill, and I won't add anything else... It was evening and we were a little tired, and we thought about it afterwards because the bill didn't add up based on the orders we'd placed. At least for us... Anyway, the food is still of excellent quality. Thank you. Elisabetta

09/08/2025: Elegant and spotlessly clean restaurant with unique decor. The owner and her mother, the chef, are incredibly kind and make you feel right at home. I wanted to try a traditional dish that wasn't on the menu, and they prepared it for me. The food was truly excellent, prices were reasonable, and I highly recommend it.
