09/10/2025: A quick, unscheduled lunch at a casual, very good, old-fashioned restaurant. The portions were generous, well-prepared, and tasty. The atmosphere was very modest, minimal but functional, and the staff were friendly. Parking was a bit difficult, but it was a pleasant experience nonetheless. I recommend it to those who focus on the food and ignore the rest.

In the small shop with excellent dairy products, you can buy cheeses (primarily "San Ste" of various ages), yogurt, butter, ricotta, and the new kefir (I always stock up on it thanks to the insulated bag available in the shop). A BIG SURPRISE: the freshly made yogurt ice cream... spectacular! Every time I'm in the area, I can't get enough. A special thanks to all the staff at the dairy.

26/08/2025: The best pasta we've tried in Italy. They make it by hand and use sauces that take 5 hours to cook, and they're spectacular. The service is a 10. We wanted to try several types of pasta, and they divided all the dishes into portions so my family could try them. The price is incredible, 100% recommended!

11/10/2025: The owner and staff are beyond description. We were four more people than our reservation, and they treated us rudely all evening. We paid €60 each for two drinks and four pieces of focaccia. They deserve to go bankrupt. Rude beyond belief.

12/10/2025: Forget it. €63 per person for subpar dishes. The cheese platter was as poor as the quality. The amount of meat indicated on the menu was not reflected in the dishes, which were also not good. The atmosphere was noisy and cold.

11/10/2025: They've been wanting to bring me here to eat for at least 20 years, but for various reasons we'd never managed to arrange it. Today, I had a whim and decided to leave from Milan and arrive 150 km later in this little village above Genoa. Unfortunately, getting there wasn't easy due to the usual problems on the A7 on the Serravalle motorway, with long queues and detours. The restaurant has become a go-to for many who want to eat both Genoese cuisine and, when in season, mushrooms prepared in every way. All the dishes I ordered were excellent: mushroom and fondue tart, ravioli col tuccu, Ligurian mixed fried fish, fried porcini mushrooms, veal with porcini mushrooms. The desserts were excellent: Monte Bianco, tart with 4-chocolate parfait, carrot cake. The price was adequate for the quality of the food and service. A good wine list with reasonably priced, quality offerings. The only negative was the noise in the dining room, which I believe was due to the poorly designed acoustics (and especially to a group of children who were very poorly managed, which is certainly not the fault of the management...). Well done everyone, especially the lovely young waiters who looked after us. A wonderful experience!

20/08/2025: The location isn't modern or cozy, but it's quaint and charming for that reason. The gelato is excellent, made with natural ingredients. If you go in the late afternoon or evening, you're not guaranteed to find your favorite flavors, but I can recommend them all, so it's worth picking up and trying. Excellent value for money.

17/08/2025: I'm from the Veneto region and pay about €2.50 for a gelato flavor, which is on average much worse. The place is very vintage, seemingly from another dimension of space and time. I've only tried the gelato and a granita, and they're interesting. The quality/price ratio is staggering.

31/08/2025: We found this focaccia shop quickly on Google because we couldn't leave Genoa without taking a piece home. Unfortunately, we arrived late and there wasn't much choice. We also had plain focaccia (very good) the next day. Recommended!

28/08/2025: A small place, nestled in the center's alleys. Perfect for stopping for a quick bite if you're out for a stroll. The clerks were friendly and cheerful. The focaccia and pizza were mostly excellent, and the prices were moderately low (€8 for two, I couldn't believe it when they charged me). The only downside is there's no bathroom, but otherwise, it's just as good.

10/10/2025: A welcoming place, with friendly and quick staff. I recommend trying the excellent farinata (in various variations with onions or gorgonzola, stracchino, sausage, or plain). I recommend booking in advance. Fair prices.

05/10/2025: After a long absence, we managed to return to enjoy the farinata: one of the best in Genoa. The cheese focaccia is absolutely not to be missed: excellent!!! Of course, it's always difficult to book a table, and I was disappointed to see the small portions, although the price is, fortunately, still affordable, so it makes up for it. A great confirmation and absolutely not to be missed 😉😉

05/09/2025: We had all-you-can-eat sushi two nights in a row with our family of five. The food was truly amazingly delicious. Nothing to complain about! However, the first night our food arrived very quickly, and the second night it took too long for us. That was a bit of a shame. Overall, everyone was very friendly, but I think it was due to the crowds. Reservations are recommended!

04/09/2025: All-you-can-eat sushi in the evenings and on weekends for around €30 per person, for people over 130cm tall, excluding drinks. Absolutely delicious. We went here two nights in a row. Great service. The second night had a longer wait for our food than the first. Perhaps the second night was even busier, although both nights seemed full, which is a good sign when everyone comes here. A huge selection of food, including mussels and various meat dishes in addition to the sushi. Highly recommended!
