03/08/2024: Unexpectedly in such a popular place, where you theoretically can sell everything, we had, like I said to the guy who served us, " a very nice experience of a delicate but tasteful cooking". Highly recommended if you're looking for such experiences.

28/07/2024: Ora Blu was a perfect restaurant choice in the Rapallo area with lovely views of the sea and harbor and also amazing waiters who gave the atmosphere of the night another level. The food selection and also the taste of the food was sublime and perfectly fitted to tradition of the area gave us a great example of what the traditional food in this area tastes like!!! I highly recommend visiting this place when coming to the area of Rapallo!!

30/08/2024: In comparison - even to much more expensive restaurants - this was by far the best restaurant we ate in for a long time. Mandilli al Pesto and Fritura di pesce are highly recommended. One of the best restaurants we have been in the last years Da Genio was by far the best. Mandilli al Pesto and Fritura di pesce are extremely recommendable.

15/08/2024: Locale con arredamento molto carino rivolto allo slow food conviviale. Menù accattivante e carta dei vini maestosa. Bruschette,pici, carne davverodi qualità e gustosi. Chianti nel tipico fiasco al sapore di Toscana. Tiramisù sfizioso. Prima volta ma non di certo ultima. Prezzo allineato con la qualità e la cura della preparazione dei prodotti.

15/08/2024: Pranzato con moglie e cognata oggi 15 agosto. Location semplice e confortevole, personale gentile e simpatico, i piatti sono veramente squisiti, di qualità ed anche abbondanti... Cucina veramente raffinata con ampia scelta di prelibatezze liguri ma anche toscane. Rapporto qualità/prezzo buono. Buono il Merlot della casa ma anche varia scelta di vini doc. Dolci speciali... Ci torneremo senz'altro in altre occasioni perché pienamente soddisfatti in tutti i sensi...

10/08/2024: I am going to write this comment in FRENCH, yes yes in FRENCH to complain about the deplorable behavior of the cook this lunchtime. It seems that your life is making you bitter? Is it the mid-life crisis that makes you unpleasant and unfunny? When ordering I ask for two dishes in English, the cook tells me to talk to him in French and not in English, why? Perhaps the gentleman wanted to check his poor B2 level, and he will have plenty of time to do so by reading my comment. The grumpy cook tells me that in Italy we speak Italian, well I'm going to teach you something my little man, it's the tourists who keep your chip shop running. So yes, the reflex is to use English, an international vernacular, and no, you are not the center of the world. You sell lasagna and fried squid, you are neither a local star nor a Michelin restaurant.

19/08/2024: Un buon pasto in clima tradizionale… Insieme a due amici sono andato a mangiare in questo ristorante e mi sono trovato molto bene. Camerieri sono molto gentili e hanno la giusta pazienza per spiegarti ogni piatto. Non è il solito cinese di quantità e misto Fusion con altri paesi asiatici, è un cinese, solo cinese.

14/08/2024: I liked the place; it is one of the historic shops of Genoa but, despite this, I had never happened to pass by there while I was looking for a restaurant. So let's say I found it by accident. The restaurant is in the central area although slightly away from the chaos of the main streets; in this period we eat at the outdoor tables, set up in Piazza San Bernardo, a beautiful quiet area of ​​the historic centre. Nothing to say about the service, everything was impeccable. I gave the food three stars for a "problem" with the pesto... The person who was having dinner with me took some chestnut pasta with pesto and pointed out that the pesto was bitter and had a strange spicy smell (or mint), in fact the color was not the usual green but was much darker. Long story short: the dish was eaten, but it wasn't as pleasant as one would have expected. I took a look at other reviews and no one had ever encountered the same problem, and so I assumed that it was an isolated case, perhaps due to the excessive heat of these days which may have ruined the pesto in question a little. Too bad because the rest was fine. I don't rule out returning to this place, maybe next time it will be better.

28/08/2024: I have ordered pizza on several occasions. The product has always been good and the experience positive. On the last 2 occasions, no. The cheese focaccia is a white pizza, with cheese on top, the pizzata is a little rubbery. I'm afraid the pizza chef has changed. Given the extreme courtesy of the owner, the quality of the product seemed modest to me.

10/08/2024: Perfect. A point of reference because it is one of the few Genoese places with many vegan and intolerant options.
