21/04/2026: Every year I have to go back specifically for the focaccia and the pesto trofie. I watch the rest pass by, it looks and will be delicious, but since the 1970s, I've been going for the focaccia and the trofie.

21/04/2026: Very good food, local dishes. We were delighted with the focaccia. The only downside is the extremely high noise level in the left part of the restaurant, where there are no white place settings.

21/04/2026: Excellent restaurant serving traditional Ligurian cuisine. The cheese focaccia was spectacular, as were all the dishes. Exceptional value for money.

09/05/2026: A historic restaurant. Its elegant and varied decor is very distinctive. It's also full of photos of people who have visited the restaurant over the years. Impeccable service. The waiter was precise, extremely attentive, and not only served the guests but also entertained them with moderation. The dishes were excellent. The focaccia was exquisite, as was the fish soup. The same can be said for the "pesto lasagna" (which is actually a giant pappardelle). The desserts were also very impressive, especially—I don't remember the name—a sort of chocolate and rum cream puff. Really good. Worth a try.

02/04/2026: I don't usually eat cheese focaccia, but I have to say this one really raised the bar for Recco cheese focaccia. It may sound strange coming from me, but it was so good, I even had to ask for a second helping. :) We had a table of ten, and the kids were all very excited, not to mention us adults 😊. Congratulations to all the staff who managed such a chaotic situation. Best wishes for your continued success.

We ordered the SEAFOOD MENU, which included: "Cuculli" (a welcome dish), seared tuna, avocado, pink grapefruit, turmeric mayonnaise, and caramelized onions; red shrimp "bottoni" (small rounds) with their bisque and toasted almonds; pistachio-crusted croaker (small drumstick) with sweet potato cream. Everything was delicious, with generous portions and friendly service. To finish, a surprise heart-shaped dessert with strawberries and chocolate. 06/04/2026: We booked 15 days ago but couldn't find a table, but then they fixed it after a while. It took us 4 hours to eat a set menu worse than a wedding. The inn was very chaotic, the food was poor, and the prices were like those of a major restaurant. Never again!

30/12/2025: It's a shame you can't give less than one star. We went there for pizza with friends. Aside from the fact that the pizza took 25 minutes to arrive and the restaurant wasn't even that busy, I think it's the worst pizza I've ever eaten. It tasted like a schiacciatina, even half raw. Very low-quality ingredients. My husband had a pizza with a crust filled with cooked ham, which was probably just called ham. All greasy and acidic. And the crust was only filled on two sides of the pizza, not all four. We're a long way from the word "pizza." If you go, try the cuisine, maybe that's what they'll save.

26/12/2025: It was a truly excellent Christmas lunch: the food was expertly prepared and delicious, the service impeccable, the atmosphere welcoming, with ambient music in the background, and a live pianist. A place to definitely return.

05/05/2026: As a child, between the late 1980s and 1995, on summer weekends before vacation, I had two destinations: the seaside of Recco and U fainottu, with their classic focaccias, the red one, farinata, and their first-class focaccia di Recco. I was enraptured by their creations but also drawn to the man, a curly-haired man dressed in white who baked over and over again. Now I'm an adult, but if I want to recapture those moments with my family, so distant and almost black and white, I return to Recco whenever I can and relive those moments that suddenly become colorful memories. More than 30 years for me, and despite the various changes and renovations, I relive them with every bite. I don't know if it's the best of Recco, and probably some other business is... but to this day, I return to Recco whenever I can, and these feelings and opinions of mine have always been respected. 12/04/2026: 50 minutes for a focaccia Inattentive staff If you see a table with a small child waiting for an hour, try asking. The cut looked like meat cooked a week ago. I understand that mistakes can happen, but not correcting them is even worse. Not apologizing is even worse.

03/04/2026: We were there tonight for dinner, the staff were polite and all very kind, the dishes were fresh and delicious, plentiful, and the prices were reasonable. We'll be back soon! Thanks!!
