19/05/2026: The focaccia di Recco was wonderful, Manuelina was friendly and the staff were very helpful.

19/05/2026: But you can see that they forgot to put the cheese in the focaccia...all in all I ate a crunchy piadina...in fact I'm giving it 1 star because it can't get any less.

06/06/2026: The recommended white wine was good. The focaccia was moist and good. The Seabream fresh pasta was light and decent. The owner and staff were friendly, which made me feel good.

04/06/2026: We traveled from Milan specifically to try this historic and renowned restaurant, drawn in by the many Instagram reels showing inviting dishes. Unfortunately, the experience didn't entirely meet our expectations, especially regarding the quantity/price ratio. What didn't work was the Recco focaccia. From the videos, it looked like a generous and rich portion; in reality, for €10, we were served three decidedly thin and "poor" pieces, one even burned! For the first courses, we ordered pasta with country-style pesto. The flavor was good and savory, but the presentation and richness of the ingredients left much to be desired; there was only one green bean and the potatoes were almost invisible. It's unfortunate to say that service to "non-regulars" is so lacking for such a famous establishment, but we had the distinct feeling that there's a disparity in treatment (both in portions and attention) between regulars/acquaintances and those, like us, who are out of town and are seen as "passing tourists." What worked The five fried anchovies were very good, fresh, and a fair portion for the price. Overall, the food is tasty, but for the prices charged, the presentation and the generous portions leave something to be desired. It's a shame, but given the trip and the small portions, we're unlikely to return.

10/05/2026: To avoid the slightly rustic treatment the Genoese gave us Alpini, during the 97th gathering, on May 8, 2026, we came to Recco, receiving a warm welcome full of smiles and greetings. We then entered this elegant restaurant, with soft lighting, discreet music, charming decor, and attentive service, and enjoyed a cheese focaccia, the pride of Recco, a gastronomic highlight. Then we moved on to the delicate and colorful creamed cod. All this was preceded by an amuse-bouche similar to potato chips, but made with chickpea flour, truly delicious and original. 02/04/2026: I don't usually eat cheese focaccia, but I have to say this one really raised the bar for Recco cheese focaccia. It may sound strange coming from me, but it was so good, I even had to ask for a second helping. :) We had a table of ten, and the kids were all very excited, not to mention us adults 😊. Congratulations to all the staff who managed such a chaotic situation. Best wishes for your continued success.

07/06/2026: On a day at the beach in Recco, we stopped by U fainottu for focaccia for lunch and dinner. The service was very helpful and friendly; even though it was closing time, the owner baked a last pan especially for us. Highly recommended for the friendliness and, of course, for the Recco focaccia (also gluten-free), which was truly delicious. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by!

01/06/2026: We discovered this bakery by chance during a day spent in Recco: a wonderful establishment offering quality products (the traditional focaccia is excellent) and a selection of gluten-free items, with excellent value for those who can't eat gluten. Highly recommended!!!

21/04/2026: We had dinner two nights in a row, trying both the first courses, the fried dishes, and the pizza. Everything was delicious and well-made, both the fish (the spaghetti alla pescatora was delicious) and the pizza (very large for the standard pizza). Attentive and fast service (the girls were always served first), and the price was fair.

02/07/2025: Amazing pizza because the dough is just the right amount of heavy and the pizza is just the right amount of big. I like it because it fills you up a little more than you should so that you feel good. Fair prices. In my opinion it is the best in Recco in terms of quality-price ratio, even if many people don't agree, but I don't care, I go there anyway, everyone is kind and deserves it. PS: I recommend accompanying one of their pizzas with a fresh Moretti 66, thank me later

04/05/2026: I always spend little, this time I got 4 cheese focaccias for €5.60 and they were delicious. The lady who served me was also very kind ❤️🥹
