Judging a restaurant after just one visit, including two main courses and side dishes, isn't very convincing, but our experience was still quite disappointing. Two grilled fish dishes, one seafood and one lake fish, were very poor in both composition and preparation. The side dishes were average and acceptable. Again, it could just be a case of bad luck, but that's the way it is. Courteous service. No receipt.

The ambiance and service are really very good. The food tastes good too, but to my liking it was a bit too oily and the fish didn't have a strong enough fishy flavor. The anchovies, however, were very tasty.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch while visiting Bolsena. The food was excellent, the place spacious, and the service attentive and fast. I highly recommend it.

An absolute gem in Bolsena and one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The carbonara was genuinely the best I’ve ever had – perfectly cooked, incredibly rich and full of authentic flavour. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and that the dishes are prepared with real passion and tradition.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with that classic family-run Italian feel that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
If you’re visiting Bolsena, this restaurant is a must. Outstanding food, wonderful hospitality and an unforgettable carbonara. We would return in a heartbeat!

The staff were very stressed even though it wasn't busy. We always had to call after them if we wanted something. The food was okay.
