We had lunch at this lovely restaurant, perhaps a little dated but still well-maintained, with well-executed traditional dishes. The staff was courteous and helpful (you can tell they've been doing this for years), welcoming us at opening without a reservation. We spent just the right amount.

The food was good, the fish excellent, but the dishes were a bit confusing. The atmosphere was a bit noisy. Overall, a well-deserved 4 stars.

We used Bolsena as a base for our visit to Tuscia. We had already read good reviews of this restaurant on several websites, and from the first evening we were delighted with the traditional cuisine and family atmosphere. We returned for two more evenings. The owner is very kind and recommended dishes to us. The first courses were fantastic, and the lake fish was truly fresh and tasty. I recommend the macaroni carbonara and the pici with crispy pancetta and truffle cream (if you ask, they'll even give you a second helping). The whitefish is fantastic, both the citrus-flavored fillet and the whitefish strips with pine nuts and sun-dried tomatoes. The service is fast and very courteous. The atmosphere is welcoming and elegant, with original 14th-century door and window frames and copies of Etruscan frescoes on the walls. Compliments to the chef, Emiliano, and the entire staff. On our next visit to the area, we'll definitely be back!

This restaurant in the heart of Bolsena's historic center took me back to the '90s, with an authentic and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was extremely courteous, and the owner was helpful and attentive, even recommending an excellent bottle of local wine at a truly fair price. The two of us enjoyed four portions of fried artichokes, two lake-sourced pasta dishes, and two tagliata with arugula, parmesan, and cherry tomatoes: everything was simply delicious, with meat that melted in your mouth. To round out the meal, two amaro liqueurs and a bottle of water. The final bill? More than fair for the quality and quantity. I highly recommend this place... I'd go back a thousand times over!
