La Torre di Lavello In Tuscania

Simply fantastic! Views of the Torre del Lavello, as well as other medieval structures and parts of the valley in the background. Book and dine directly on the terrace, enjoying the freshness of both the air and the menu. The dishes are all so original they deserve to be listed in the dictionary. First or second courses don't matter, because both are so complete and generously matched that they provide a complete and light diet, without sacrificing rich and complete flavors. What can I say? We're faced with a quality I've never experienced before, indescribable, and capable of surpassing a Michelin-starred restaurant. The service is as always in these places: young and lively, effective and efficient, to the point of complementing the charm of the entire setting with its beauty. Thank you!

Unique location in front of the tower! A huge tree provides shade on the panoramic terrace. Excellent food and generous portions. Highly recommended.

Yesterday, May 12th, while strolling through Tuscania, we noticed the restaurant with a lovely terrace where trees shaded the tables, a charming place for lunch. The staff were very kind. We ordered appetizers, tagliata, lamb with porcini mushrooms and truffles, and desserts. Everything was cooked to perfection, elegant to the eye and delicious to the palate. We were very satisfied and will be back.

This is our favorite restaurant; we've been coming here for years, both as a couple and with friends. Each time we come, we discover new dishes, always well-crafted, with interesting flavor combinations. We recommend visiting on a summer evening to enjoy the cool air on the small terrace, with a view of the tower and the medieval square. But it's also nice in the winter, inside, with a roaring fireplace. We always love returning.

Small restaurant next to the Torre di Lavello with a panoramic terrace and pergola. Varied and original menu, excellent appetizers, especially the beef tartare accompanied by raw artichokes, apple, and raw spinach, and the cod tart with raisins and pine nuts on a bed of mashed potatoes and garnished with caramelized onion. The first courses were also excellent, with the cacio e pepe served on a bed of beetroot puree being excellent. Perhaps the toppings were a bit too generous, but overall I'd say everything was very good. Professional and courteous service. This charming place could use a renovation that would further enhance its value.

The Tuscania restaurant was recommended to us by the agriturismo where we were staying, and it was a pleasant discovery! Dinner on the intimate, well-kept terrace with precise and attentive service. Very good dishes and generous portions. Highly recommended for a couples dinner!

There's no better way to end a visit to Tuscania than with dinner on Via Torre di Lavello. After a stroll in the adjacent park, stopping at the restaurant of the same name allows you to enjoy a unique atmosphere. The food is refined, with traditional dishes like wild boar cacciatora and appetizers featuring rich local ingredients. The staff was extremely kind, even to our four-legged friends, promptly bringing water. Sitting at the outdoor tables with a view of the medieval tower in the background makes everything even more evocative. A five-star experience I recommend to everyone.
