This property is located along the Via Francigena route. The rooms are very comfortable, despite the service. We requested an early breakfast to allow us to start our journey in cooler temperatures, but unfortunately, this was not accommodated. For convenience, we made our own way to the first open café at 6:00 a.m., even though breakfast was already included in the package.
As for the restaurant alone, I found it to be quite charming, with a lovely outdoor setting. The food I tried was disappointing: the liver crostini were excellent, but the arrosticini were too dry and flavorless. My wife had chickpea and potato meatballs, and the first course was also good (the sauce was excellent), but the potatoes were dry. The service was good, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The price was average.

We arrived in heavy rain, tired and wet.
Luckily, we managed to check in ourselves and get to our room for a comforting hot shower.
There was a small leak above the bed 😞 but it didn't prevent a good night's sleep.
Breakfast was quite spartan.

I had dinner yesterday with some biker friends....nice place, delicious food, but the best part is the very kind and professional owner...I was struck by her charm.

We're having lunch at this fantastic restaurant. The food is truly excellent, as is the wine. We were lucky because we chose Google.

A former slaughterhouse converted into a hostel, B&B, and restaurant. Everything is very simple but absolutely comfortable. We used it as a stop on the Etruria Cycle Route. Unfortunately, we couldn't try the restaurant due to its weekly closure, but the morning breakfast was truly excellent, both sweet and savory. Welcoming, with very friendly and professional staff, highly recommended.

Quality, not quantity, is king here.
Quality local products from Viterbo or Italian producers specializing in unique ingredients. If you're looking for a place to eat until you drop and pay little, this isn't the place. Instead, you'll find seasonal dishes that showcase local produce and craftsmanship, not to mention a vast selection of wines. Careful research and attention to detail are key.
And the quality-price ratio is absolutely competitive.
It deserves more than 5 stars. Highly recommended.
