20/04/2026: The perfect trattoria. Spartan, rustic, simple. Authentic, hearty, and homely cuisine. The owners are also genuine and homely. Prices perfectly in line with the quality. I'll be back often.

14/04/2026: Review of La Fenice Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. We went for dinner and immediately felt unwelcoming: the staff was cold and often distracted, more focused on their phones than on the customers. The service was rude; one of the waitresses, in particular, was unhelpful and unprofessional. During dinner, they even started lowering the shutters, making it clear they wanted to close and send us away while we were still eating. A truly disrespectful attitude. As for the food, the prices were decidedly high for the quality. The tagliata and pizza didn't satisfy us, but the most unpleasant thing were the baked potatoes, which were clearly frozen and not fresh (they looked like they came from a supermarket), despite being presented as homemade. The wine was also not good quality. Overall, it felt more like a nuisance than a dinner. I'm sorry to say this, especially after reading other positive reviews, but our experience was completely different. I don't recommend it.

12/10/2025: Kind and friendly staff, exceptional products. The saltimbocca, in particular, are an excellent snack, and the babà are delicious. Recommended for both shopping and a stop during your trip.

31/05/2026: A terrible experience, especially for the way we were treated. The restaurant's website clearly states that the menu also includes "some vegetarian options," so we expected at least some availability. Instead, when ordering, when asked what vegetarian options were available, the response was arrogant and rude: "The internet is a waste of time." An absurd statement, considering that the website represents the restaurant and contains information published by them. Even worse was the subsequent attitude: instead of offering a decent option, I was told to look at the side dishes and then, in an almost derisive tone, was offered "two bruschettas with tomato sauce." I find it unacceptable that a customer should be treated condescendingly simply for asking for the online menu to be respected. A full vegetarian menu wasn't expected, but at least politeness, professionalism, and consistency. All three were lacking here. Rude service, embarrassing management, and a complete lack of customer service. If these are the "vegetarian options," it would be more appropriate not to mention it on the website at all, rather than having people come and then dismissing them with jokes and side dishes. We won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend it.

23/05/2026: We had dinner at this very welcoming location. The staff were friendly and helpful. A fixed menu is available. Gluten-free and lactose-free options are available. The tuscan was excellent; I recommend the tender fillet steak. Excellent value for money. Recommended.

25/05/2026: A good restaurant. The place is a little dated, but the food is good and the service is impeccable. The fish is also excellent; the meat is kept refrigerated for you to see. A great place to eat!

14/05/2026: There were five of us. We went to pay and he had given us a discount of 8.50 from 188.50 to 180.00. While he was telling us how much we each had to pay, he realized there were five of us, not six. At that point, he reduced the discount from 8.50 to 3.50. Really bad, but losing 5 euros on 38 euros per person, you can see he was losing out. Terrible.

21/04/2026: Apparently, the chain has moved from Piazza G. Fabrizio 13 to number 14. Two portions of tagliatelle in a cardboard box + coppertos! €23. Lukewarm. I've been traveling in Italy for many years, and this was the worst rip-off ever—and not in Venice, but in sleepy Aquapendente.

06/06/2026: This is our second time staying in the area for a few days. This is our favorite bar! For breakfast, in the afternoon, or in the evening. Always friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a lovely place to enjoy la dolce vita.

20/03/2026: As soon as we entered, the charming Alessandra greeted us and seated us, bringing us a fantastic bruschetta. The first course was homemade tagliatelle topped with artichokes and crispy pancetta, while the second course was excellent, slightly spicy coratella (veal giblets) and potatoes with mushrooms. Simple style, home-cooked food, generous portions. Kudos to Cristiano, too. If I'm ever in the area, I'd definitely stop by.

04/06/2026: A truly enchanting venue, carved into the rock and enriched by charming cellars that create a romantic, elegant atmosphere, with meticulous attention to detail. We were welcomed by the owner, an extremely professional, helpful, and passionate person, capable of making guests feel immediately at ease. The service was impeccable: attentive, courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt, always discreet. The quality of the ingredients is evident in every course. The appetizers, featuring select, excellent-quality cured meats, accompanied by flavorful, expertly prepared crostini, were a wonderful start. The tagliata al tartufo was extraordinary: tender meat, cooked perfectly rare and literally melting in the mouth, enhanced by the intense aroma of truffle. The desserts also confirmed the high quality of the cuisine: the chocolate cake with a warm center, accompanied by delicate vanilla ice cream, was the perfect ending to an excellent dinner. An experience that combines quality ingredients, attention to detail, professionalism, and a genuine passion for catering. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

02/06/2026: Dinner in a former peperino quarry. A cool and scenic setting. Dishes made with seasonal ingredients. Everything was excellent, from the fava bean soufflé to the sliced ​​steak with hazelnuts and lard. We'll definitely return.

04/05/2026: We had the misfortune of stopping for dinner here only because all the other restaurants in the historic center, as we hadn't booked, were full. Absolutely not recommended. We ordered a watered-down and flavorless chickpea and cabbage soup. Practically inedible. Next, a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses, also including some rancid cured meats. A portion of crostata and two 33cl beers. I should point out that the place is minimal and sells traditional products at excessive prices. The previous evenings, we had dined at truly beautiful places, with excellent service, quality food, and for less money, we left very satisfied.
