Hotel Aquila Restaurant In Orte

I've been going there for several years and have always had a good experience. But with the change of management, prices have increased by 30%, with the same unobjectionable menu as before. I'll just say the coffee is 2 euros, and I don't think I'll go there anymore.

I've been coming to this restaurant for many years, always a guarantee. Even under new management. They have a fun and affordable menu.

When I'm in town for work, during lunch or dinner hours, I go out to Orte and celebrate with one of my favorite dishes: grilled lamb and mixed salad. It pays off for me, and it's worth getting off the highway; they know how to grill it really well! They say the management changed three months ago. Everything's fine, they've freshened up the place, but I only serve roast lamb. 🤦‍♂️ A little less crowded than usual... Too bad. Is that why?

I ate at this restaurant several times until the end of 2025. The portions were generous and well-cooked, and Pietro at the counter was extremely friendly. It changed management at the beginning of 2026. I stayed at the hotel a week ago on a Sunday, and the restaurant was closed. From what I've learned, the new management is focusing on gourmet cuisine, with larger portions and different prices than the previous one. Frankly, I'm not convinced at first glance.

Lunch menu for €20 with appetizer, first course, second course, water, and coffee, located at the highway entrance, with ample parking. Everything was delicious and generous portions. Very friendly staff. What more could you ask for?
