04/08/2025: The rooms were dirty, with dust everywhere, even though housekeeping came in daily despite that, the rooms were never properly cleaned. We also noticed that some of our belongings went missing during our stay, including money😠. I believe this happened while we were out and housekeeping entered the room — instead of going through our luggage, they should have focused on actually cleaning…😬They even charged us for a simple cup of hot water for tea. On top of that, the staff didn’t speak English, which made communication very difficult. The only positive things were the good location and the beautiful view. Nothing more!👎

02/07/2025: No air conditioning. My friend and I couldn't sleep the whole night because of the lack of air conditioning. We slept for 2 hours. You have to hide your money because they will take it, they took 5 euros from me >:[

20/08/2025: I stopped with the kids for a granita at a table for €8 each; the table is fine (as per the explanation given), but for me it's a complete rip-off, or as they say in Rome, "na sola." Never again. I strongly advise against it.

16/07/2025: Siamo stati appositamente da Grue ieri mattina x poter fare una buona colazione. Abbiamo scelto fra le tante varietà due cornetti alla crema buonissimi che difficilmente si trovano e due caffè altrettanto buoni. Ci andiamo molto spesso non solo x la colazione ma anche a pranzo, sempre tutto soddisfacente per non parlare poi delle varietà dei mignon, delle torte e del buonissimo gelato artigianale. Rimaniamo sempre molto soddisfatti e sempre ben accolti dalla carinissima cassiera. I prezzi non sono assolutamente esosi considerando soprattutto la qualità dei prodotti

17/08/2025: We were not allowed to sit at a table unless everyone was eating. There were 6 of us, but only 4 wanted food, and the staff said that was not possible. No wonder the bad reviews. Service is absolutely zero.

17/08/2025: The view is fantastic. Sipping a beer while gazing at one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World isn't something you get to do every day. The staff was friendly. The prices aren't the cheapest, considering the location, but they're still reasonable. I was a bit disappointed that you couldn't order coffee after 12 p.m.

18/04/2025: Posto carino, con servizio scadente. Ormai in questa città si investe solo nell'immagine e non nella formazione. Sicuramente non ci metto più piede. 10 minuti per prendere un caffè, con 5 addetti al servizio di cui, 2 a lavoro e 3 a giocare con il cell. Naturalmente con bancone vuoto ed un tavolo da servire

17/08/2025: Excellent café inside the I Granai Shopping Center. Excellent Lavazza coffee and excellent Fagottino alla Crema. Friendly barista and cashier. I recommend it and will be back!

15/02/2025: ordered at home and paid in advance by card, the food was never delivered despite more than two hours of waiting, no notification and no response from the restaurant. Luckily JustEat refunded us, but we will never order from this restaurant again.

17/08/2025: I ordered through JustEat. I opened the bag and noticed a slightly unpleasant odor, but I think it might be the shrimp tempura in the roll or the poke. I got a poke where two of the required ingredients were missing, flavorless salmon. I started eating it but didn't feel comfortable, so in the end I basically only ate the avocado. I also got a temaki where the seaweed was smelly, but I only ate the shrimp inside. Of the two rolls, I only tasted one piece of one and one piece of the other; I threw everything else away. Like my money, I really hope I don't feel sick. You don't joke around with these things. If you're not in a position to do so, close the door!

17/08/2025: Unfortunately, we didn't like it at all; I've tried many better ones. It wasn't very seasoned, and the sauces were practically nonexistent. It really wasn't very flavorful. Furthermore, it tasted like something had gone bad; I don't know if it was the mango or the Philadelphia.

26/08/2025: We stopped by News Cafe after visiting the nearby fountain since we were really hungry. We sat down, ordered food and drinks, and everything seemed fine at first. The waiter (I believe his name was Rakim) placed leather eating mats on the table before bringing our plates, which we thought was standard. However, when the bill arrived, we noticed a surprise charge of €3—just for using those plain placemats. If we hadn’t looked closely, we wouldn’t have realized it at all. It felt sneaky, and I honestly don’t think this was the first time this trick was pulled on customers. The food was okay, not quite up to the usual Italian standard, but the drinks were decent. Because of the unexpected charge and overall experience, we didn’t leave a tip. I'm leaving this review in case the owner would like to reach out for more details—happy to share. My advice: walk a bit further and choose another restaurant.

21/07/2025: Terrible experience....I was passing through and knowing the chain we trusted it, nothing more wrong...cold second courses, disjointed first courses but excellent appetizers. I found a piece of plastic in the meat, my colleague found hair in the chicken. Never again.

16/06/2025: Terrible restaurant, no food control, very dirty kitchen, chef who knows nothing about Romanian cuisine, terrible treatment, they don't pay salaries, I worked for two months and I still haven't received my salary, this place should be closed This branch or the change of its management is destroying tourism

22/07/2025: Truly a terrible experience!!!! The elderly lady behind the counter was extremely rude, with an inexplicably arrogant and impolite attitude. To make matters worse, the place was visibly dirty, with a general sense of neglect. It's incredible how a simple relaxing moment over an ice cream turned into a terrible experience that ruined my day. I will never return and I strongly advise against it.
