18/07/2025: Good selection of artisan and delicious gelato. Customer service was a let down. We were asked if paying cash but when I took the bank card out, the cashier grudgingly took the card reader out, collected our payment and did’t offer us a receipt, then mumbled his discontent to the other attendant. Perhaps they should put a “cash only” sign to avoid further disappointment.

03/08/2025: Very nice atmosphere, especially the outside. It's a shame about the pizza. It arrives cold and, forgive me, it's awful. It's a classic Roman pizza, thin and crunchy, but it's not even that. The appetizers arrived in normal time, the pizza after literally an hour and ten minutes, and the beers and Cokes were already warm.

09/07/2025: It's called a restaurant, but it's not. Since the restaurant has children's games, we decided to go. However, the games were all broken and dilapidated, and we were not allowed in. We asked for a seafood appetizer and were served a small plate with two mussels. The food was poor, tasteless, and poorly presented. The plates were broken, and we ate in the dark, with tables set with dirty plastic tablecloths. A horrible place, and I won't be returning. Also, the price, which for five adults and two children, was truly exorbitant.

29/06/2025: Un posto per i turisti come mezza italiana sono stata molto delusa. Il tiramisù con panna invece di mascarpone. Il caprese la mozzarella quelli più duri per la pizza, insalata Cesare il pollo durissimo. La pasta poca pasta. Mai più!

20/07/2025: Abbiamo preso come antipasto 2 tartare condite con olio, sale e pepe. Sono arrivate a tempo di record ma la consistenza era quella di un pappone di carne macinata, già preparato in precedenza e servito al momento, peraltro con dei crostini alla base che, a mio parere, se uno vuole assaporare solo il sapore della carne, rovinano il gusto. La carne comunque si presentava ossidata, sintomo appunto di una preparazione precedente. In un locale che si spaccia per macelleria per me è intollerabile. La carne cruda va preparata al momento, per battere 1 etto di carne ci vogliono 2 minuti. Proseguiamo con bombette alla messinese e cubetti di manzo avvolti con guanciale. I primi stracarichi di formaggio fuso, stomachevoli, i secondi sono arrivati tiepidi e all'interno crudi (va bene la cottura al sangue ma qui erano stati bruciati fuori sulla piastra e dentro erano rimasti freddi). Patatine buone, croccanti e non unte. La cicoria discreta ma comunque roba già fatta e riscaldata. Il personale è risultato gentile e veloce, si sono anche sincerati della nostra esperienza e abbiamo riferito le stesse cose, ma certo non è sufficiente a sopperire alle carenze culinarie.

19/07/2025: Non ci siamo! La qualità e il servizio sono molto peggiorati. Ci hanno servito una spada (media cottura) praticamente cruda e soprattutto fredda (era tenera solo grazie alla lunga marinatura). Il contorno non arriva mai con la carne e l'ultima volta il pane era secco, abbiamo cambiato bustina ma stesso risultato. Sono diverse volte che ci deludono, peccato

08/09/2025: Food is ok. The cacio e Pepe is way too salty. Bread was dry. They kept on forgetting to bring drinks and they brought out veal when we asked for scallop. They pressure you to pay tip even though they already charged a service fee. Even when you say no to paying tip twice they keep on pressing you to pay tip. The only good thing is the atmosphere but there are so many other great restaurants on Borgia Pío.

28/08/2025: A truly authentic Italian experience! The pizzas were absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is stunning, and Jean Carlos, the owner, is such a kind and welcoming person. A perfect spot to enjoy Rome like a local — highly recommended!

Hidden place, good prices, good beer and good apperol..: without a doubt a place you have to go to try a pizza made by GianCarlo and enjoy the views of the Pantheon!! Thank you very much

19/05/2025: La mia recente esperienza al ristorante La Marinella si è rivelata decisamente deludente, soprattutto considerando i prezzi assolutamente esorbitanti praticati. Sedersi a tavola qui significa prepararsi a un conto salatissimo per piatti che, nella loro semplicità, non giustificano minimamente la spesa. Venti euro per un piatto di spaghetti alle vongole, un classico della cucina marinara senza alcuna particolarità degna di nota, mi è sembrato decisamente esagerato. La stessa sensazione l'ho provata di fronte al conto del sorbetto al limone (7 euro!), un dessert basico offerto a un prezzo da alta pasticceria. Ciliegina sulla torta, ulteriori 7 euro per il parcheggio. Sconsigliato.

12/08/2025: We came for a quick aperitivo, ordered two bottled beers and a platter with a few pizzas, a white pizza, and fries for €18. Honestly, I found the place quite dirty, especially the tables and glasses. The pizza and pizzas weren't bad, but the fries were burnt. I wouldn't go back.
