Domenico Tornatora In Roma

It was one of my go-to pastry shops in Rome's Laurentina/Eur area...excellent cappuccino, croissants, and mini pastries! The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, also ideal for enjoying tea with friends. Lately, however, I've noticed a systematic decline in the quality of the desserts. The peak was on Easter Monday morning when I bought two pastieras (regardless of the price, I think it was €36/kg). They were definitely made with fresh ingredients, as they're usually made for these occasions, but they were quite dry. Let's just say the guests weren't very happy with them... Now I don't know if the management has changed or if the pastry chef has changed, but that's not how it should be. Years ago, Tornatora was synonymous with quality.

Excellent dining spot. Breakfast is available, including coffee, cappuccino, and more. There's also a wide selection of pastries, cakes, and desserts. The atmosphere is elegant and modern. Also recommended for an aperitif or a brenck.
