20/07/2025: I left this pizzeria with a mixed feeling: on the one hand, the pizza by the slice is very good, perfectly crispy. It's hard to find better in the area, even if the prices aren't that low. However, the rest of the experience has a lot of room for improvement: the internal organization is confusing, the staff often seems overwhelmed. Orders overlap, wait times increase, and there's a perceived lack of coordination between the dining room and kitchen, especially on busy nights. It feels like they're being managed sloppily. When I asked for two supplì, I was told they didn't have them ready and that they'd have to have them prepared for me🤔... definitely NO!!! Add to that the place isn't air-conditioned; on hot days, the temperature inside becomes oppressive🔥... I noticed a lack of air conditioning, which makes the air suffocating and tired. Crowding and chaos at the outdoor tables, which are arranged too close together, further aggravates the discomfort for customers. Space management is poorly managed, with little regard for privacy at the table. If you're looking for a truly good pizza by the slice, it's worth a visit. But if you also value a welcoming atmosphere, a comfortable temperature, and orderly order management, then there's obvious room for improvement—a real shame! 🙈🤷🏼‍♀️

27/06/2025: I had only eaten the pizza by the slice here and I have to say that I consider it one of the best in the area. The choice to sit at the tables was not one of the best, the round pizza did not maintain the same standards as the one by the slice, the service was truly improvised, left in the hands of two decidedly disoriented guys. Inaccurate order and drinks not cold enough. Adequate price.

11/08/2025: Rude staff. Did not smile and just threw the plate at me. The staff are not even ethnic Italian but treat English speaking people differently. Terrible customer service. And no air conditioning!

22/06/2025: We booked by phone to come and eat pizza, but we were really disappointed. We sat down and were greeted by a guy who was also a bit arrogant, who started with "did your colleague tell you on the phone that you can only pay in cash, due to the lack of communication of the POS?" We moved on to the order, completely unworthy, he told us that it was the wrong evening, because he didn't have a series of ingredients and he couldn't even make a bruschetta with tomato, because he didn't have bread. Inedible pizzas, my pizza with buffalo mozzarella was a margherita and my partner's pizza with sausage was raw. When it came to paying, it felt like we were on the black market, he didn't even have change to give us and was making offers by deducting our bill. Finally, he didn't even give us the receipt. BEWARE, AFTER READING OTHER REVIEWS ON THE FORK, OTHER CUSTOMERS ALSO COMPLAINED THAT THEY DON'T LET YOU PAY BY CARD WITH THE EXCUSE OF A FAILED CONNECTION OR THAT THE POS DOESN'T WORK. BE CAREFUL, THEY'VE BEEN INVENTING THIS THING FOR A MONTH (always reading the various reviews). What can I say, absolutely avoid it, you should close down, you are not competent in the matter and you say a lot of nonsense, because it is convenient for you not to let us customers pay by card.

11/06/2025: Abbiamo ordinato telefonicamente alcune pizze e una Coca-Cola da 1,5L, che ci è stata consegnata completamente calda. Per fortuna dovevamo ancora pagare, quindi l’abbiamo rimandata indietro. Ma non è stato un buon inizio. Le pizze erano ok, ma il conto sorprendentemente alto. Guardando lo scontrino, ho notato una cosa assurda. Per la mia pizza con cicoria ripassata, che probabilmente non era presente nel menù, è stata usata la voce “patate e salsiccia” da 9,50€ per registrarla a sistema. In aggiunta, compare un supplemento di 5,50€ per la cicoria. Totale: 15€ per una pizza bianca con verdura, senza alcuna comunicazione preventiva. Una mancanza di chiarezza che lascia davvero perplessi.

24/04/2025: Fuimos a este lugar para sacar pizza. La pizza era genial, el servicio era genial. Buen precio. Estábamos muy contentos de haber vuelto 2 veces. Una vez para almorzar y un día después para cenar. ¡La pasta con carne estaba genial! La pizza era genial. Todo alrededor gran lugar con buena comida!

18/05/2025: Un bellissimo locale, tavoli dentro e fuori. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e in tempi onesti, il personale gentile e sorridente nonostante la mole di lavoro del fine settimana. Un ottimo ritrovo dove mangiare bene e fare una bella chiacchierata tra amici

18/05/2025: Bellissimo locale ad Ostia, seconda cena con colleghi, sempre molto curato e affollato, servizio veloce e impeccabile, ottimi prezzi. Stavolta opto per una frittura e una spaghettata con le vongole, il tutto insieme ad un buon vino. Veramente buono, consigliatissimo. Conviene prenotare prima.

15/07/2025: Top-notch pizza in every way, from the dough to the cooking, and the ingredients. This doesn't take anything away from the taste and quality of the first and second courses. We eat there often, and it's never disappointing.

03/05/2025: Pizza with rubber mozzarella and burnt dough, pitiful supplements... and undelivered croquettes. They are missing from the service times... (expected time 9pm, delivered at 9.40pm) and not even a mea culpa or a discount... what a guy! Never again... I don't understand how he can still stand up without the old boss!?

09/07/2025: Capisco il mantra della difficoltà nel trovare personale, ma far salire e scendere due volte i clienti per trovare un tavolo per DUE persone, prenotato, dicendo che non è disponibile, è veramente incredibile! Pizza buona, buona scelta di vini a calice, urge un po' più di organizzazione e professionalità.

18/06/2025: Cena con amici, due tavoli da 14 persone, uno per adulti e l’altro per bambini. Abbiamo ordinato alle 20,45. Alle 21,30 il tavolo degli adulti aveva già ricevuto antipasto e piatto principale. Il tavolo dei bambini alle 22,15 ha iniziato a ricevere le pizze…. Su 14 hanno iniziato a mangiare in 3. Gli altri aspettavano…Non aggiungo altro. Vergognoso. Non ci torneremo più.

18/06/2025: Una cortese commessa al mio interesse di comprare un solo cioccolatino vista la fila mi ha omaggiato. Direi luogo eccellente per personale e qualità.

06/06/2025: Sono stata oggi 6 giugno intorno alle 15,15 per acquistare una scatola cioccolatini gianduiotti. La ragazza che mi ha accolta è stata di una estrema gentilezza e cortesia non potevo assolutamente aspettarmi di più quindi per lei 5 stelle al contrario invece è stato per il ragazzo che mi ha accolta alla cassa maleducato scortese e arrogante. Per questo motivo mi trovo costretta a dare una stella.

29/07/2025: andati a pranzo abbiamo declinato la soluzione Buffet e ordinato alla carta. Tagliere per due con affettati e formaggi anonimi, buona una mozzarella di bufala da dividere. Mentre ancora non avevamo terminato l'antipasto ci portano i primi, ma mandati indietro perché sbagliati nel formato di pasta. Tornano i primi, gricia per entrambi, ma in realtà era una cacio e pepe con l'aggiunta di pancetta bollita, un primo è stato lasciato perché non era ciò che avevamo chiesto. Alla cassa ci viene chiesto se era tutto apposto e facciamo notare che non era stato mangiato un primo perché sbagliato, la risposta è stata metta il PIN , praticamente come avessimo risposto al vento. Cameriera gentile e sorridente, ma con troppa fretta di sparecchiare. Sarà stata la mia ultima esperienza

09/07/2025: Piacere Merola” è ormai un punto di riferimento nel nostro quartiere. Marco è sempre presente, disponibile e pronto a risolvere ogni esigenza con il sorriso. I piatti sono eccellenti, curati e con l’aggiunta della cucina romana il menu è diventato davvero irresistibile. La pizza è un altro punto forte: classica, gustosa, ma soprattutto leggera e super digeribile grazie a una lievitazione perfetta! Non solo ci veniamo spesso, ma portiamo a mangiare intere scuole di ballo… senza mai una lamentela! Tutti restano soddisfatti: accoglienza, qualità e atmosfera al top. Consigliatissimo, sempre! 15/08/2025: A place where you can see that they do a superficial cleaning. At first it may seem clean, but then if you pay attention to details you see that it actually isn't. The limited menu should be broader, the choice of ingredients is poor, since the rice seemed to have been cooked incorrectly, it was rubbery to chew. Look at the rice in the dish they brought me, the one in the photo, all compact and soft, not to mention the sashimi which after the first bite I didn't eat anymore, leaving it on the plate, which by the way they then made me pay a penalty for the leftover food (all food of truly dubious origin). Fresh fish shouldn't have an odor, but theirs every now and then under the thousand spices you could smell an odor that didn't invite you to eat it. The cooking of the grilled spaghetti was totally inedible, it seemed like I was eating the white and red plastic that the police use to close off the roads. This place would be top for the Hell's Kitchen program, go there but at your own risk I'll let you know if I get green spots on my tongue after digesting the little I ate.

19/06/2025: I highly recommend a regenerating break in this historic bar...always fresh, exquisite products and courteous and fast service...in a 50s atmosphere that lets you breathe that pleasantly retro air.
