The great thing about this pizzeria is the truly varied selection, both in terms of pizza types and dough. Fresh ingredients and excellent leavening. Kudos also for the kindness and fast, courteous delivery.

We discovered this pizzeria through word of mouth, and we have to confirm the excellent ratings given by our friends!!! Truly excellent pizza!!! Cooked in a wood-fired oven, well-leavened, with a wide variety of flavors to choose from, and very light to digest. The owner, Mr. Aldo, is very kind and helpful. You can also choose between Roman-style pizza, Neapolitan pizza, and pinsa. Highly recommended!!

We finally found a takeout pizzeria in the area with a wood-fired oven and excellent quality pizza! Both Roman and Neapolitan dough. Great toppings. Delivery times were met perfectly! See you soon!!

I already knew this pizzeria, but since the change of management, it's improved dramatically. The dough is light and easy to digest, and the pizza is thin and crispy, Roman-style. The owner, Aldo, is a very kind person and a skilled pizza chef. The fried foods are also delicious. Recommended for takeout in the Tor Vergata, Giardinetti, and Torre Angela areas.

11/04/2026: So glad we stumbled upon this place at just the right time today! I can't speak to the dinner service, because we only grabbed a pizza and some wine earlier in the day. But we found Ponzi to be an unassuming and authentic pizzeria/trattoria with delicious pizza, quick service, and uninflated prices. Speaking to the authenticity and value, multiple groups of actual Italians were our fellow patrons. In fact, this is one of the only establishments in Rome so far where I've heard more Italian than other languages.
09/04/2026: Emilia was super friendly to me, the food is perfect (very authentic Italian), it's not expensive (4 cheese pizza + limoncello + tiramisu) €22 It's totally worth it! You can even make a quick stop at Santa Maria Maggiore to take a picture.

14/10/2025: Guys, what can I say... top-notch in every way. It doesn't even feel like a diner. The strong point is the variety of food options. They also do express meals, and Massimo and Grazia take care of everything perfectly.
