12/12/2025: A very warm welcome. Jimmy, our waiter, kindly agreed to take our picture. The Limoncello Spritz was excellent.

10/12/2025: I rediscovered Gusto in another location after many years, and the food was always excellent and the service remained unchanged. The service was excellent, with Jimmy being very attentive and courteous. The traditional dishes included excellent pasta dishes, both matriciana and the classic carbonara, and the light and sublime cod meatballs. Nina and I then reminisced about the old restaurant, and it was a pleasure to find it again in another location. A must-visit for our next Roman holiday.

08/12/2025: The food and atmosphere were good. However, the service was poor: the waitress did not take note when taking our order and, as it was to be expected, several items went missing for our table of four. We ordered four different vegetables dishes to have together with our pasta, but as the meal progressed it became apparent that they forgot about them. When we pointed this out to the staff, two vegetables dishes were made on the spot and brought to us. We then needed to remind them about the other two missing vegetables, who were again made on the spot. The overall interactions with staff also lacked warmth. overly, I would not return.

07/12/2025: Highly recommended! During happy hour we had two Aperol Spitz and a platter of pizza and focaccia slices that were delicious! The atmosphere was lovely and the service was fantastic! We'll definitely be back! 😊

15/11/2025: This small, elegant restaurant with an old-fashioned osteria atmosphere also offers outdoor seating for the warmer months. The dishes on the menu are of excellent quality, both in terms of the choice of ingredients and their preparation and presentation. The off-menu options and wine pairings are also interesting. The service is attentive and courteous. If you're a frequent visitor to Desenzano, it'll become a place you'll want to return to for a pleasant lunch break.

08/12/2025: A high-end pizzeria near Piazza Fiume, offering a social pizza for two or four people to share, with the added bonus of being round (others make pizza peels). The dough is Neapolitan (not the thin, crispy Roman pizza) with a perfectly baked and leavened crust. Very competitive prices. The place is very crowded, with a constant line to get in.

30/11/2025: Not only are the sandwiches very good and customizable, but they also have tasty first courses. Carbonara, gricia, and amatriciana are all very good.

29/11/2025: Whether it's sandwiches or dishes, it's always worth a visit. Excellent bread, good-quality ingredients, and they cook it themselves. The meat is good. What else do you need for a good sandwich? Nothing, just friendly, fast service, and you'll find it here... 👍 I always go back every time I pass through Trigoria. Highly recommended.

14/12/2025: We stayed here after discovering the place with a Smartbox gift card, which allowed us to book immediately (unlike other places that refuse after several days of waiting despite available dates). We were immediately greeted warmly by the owner and the rest of the staff. The room was spotless and fully equipped. We also had dinner in the restaurant on the ground floor, which was very good and especially convenient for those with small children.

13/12/2025: We booked this gem through Smartbox, including dinner, accommodation, and breakfast. Usually, when you book through Smartbox, there's always a bit of fear of feeling like you're missing out, but here, as soon as we stepped inside the inn, we understood the love and passion behind it. The room was nice and very clean. Delicious food, friendly and attentive staff, and a delightful location. I think we'll definitely return without taking advantage of any offers or Smartbox. Well done!

16/11/2025: I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant — especially after spending several days in Matera without any vegan options and relying mostly on supermarket items. I came to Rome excited to finally enjoy a proper, wholesome, organic meal here. I even crossed half the city on foot just to get to the restaurant, after choosing it based on the beautiful photos and reviews on HappyCow. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the restaurant was closed — and not just for the day, but apparently for two full weeks. This information wasn’t updated on Google, HappyCow, or their social pages, which made the disappointment even greater. I completely understand that businesses sometimes need to close — it happens. But it would truly help travelers (especially those coming from far, or with specific dietary needs) if opening hours and temporary closures were kept updated online. I hope this feedback is helpful, because many people rely on these platforms when choosing where to eat. I would still love to visit in the future, but accurate information would make the experience much smoother for everyone.

03/11/2025: It’s such a relief to find a vegan place with raw and sugar-free desserts in Rome (they use dates, agave syrup and coconut sugar)! The tiramisu was not too sweet (which is a good thing) and very delicate in flavour and texture! The rocher was also nice. Definitely go try them!
